Cold doesn’t just make you miserable. It makes you sloppy, and that’s usually where people get into trouble.

Once you’re cold, you start cutting corners without even thinking about it. You skip a snack. You don’t drink anything. You leave your gloves off “just for a second.” You keep pushing because you’re like, “I just want to be done and back inside.”
