Colts' Free Agency Moves, Draft Strategy

0:00On March 28, Indianapolis Colts been hustling hard in free agency, snagging nine outside players, and resigning their own, like Daniel Jones and Alec, Pierce. They traded away Zaire Franklin and Michael Pittman too, shaking up the roster big time. But GM Chris Ballers got a short list of must-fixes before training camp. They sit in on solid salary cap space, which is a plus this late in the game. Problem is, high in talenting jump in ships now. Draft-wise, just seven picks total, only two in the top 100, so Ballads got to get creative. Fans buzzing about the defense, especially after rank in 30th and pass rush win-rate last year. New Aslay Michael Clemens and Arden Key helped the rotation, but they need a star pass rusher to team with Liatu Latu and really pressure QBs. Minebackers thin two, signing Akim Davis-Gaether, adds some stability, but the next guy up, Jalen Carly's, barely has 244 snaps. Dept at Y receiver three, offensive line, and safety screens for more bodies, especially with question marks beyond camp-anim.
