Colts' Mock Draft: Jacas, Hill, McAlister

On April 3rd, the Indianapolis Colts hit, free agency hard, but still got holes at defensive

end, linebacker and wide receiver with no first round.

Pick this year.

The NFL draft is weeks away so they got to get crafty.

In a pro football focus simulator, one pass starts with Gabe Jockas, a defensive end

from Illinois, snagged at second round, pick 47.

Jockas balled out his senior year with 11 sacs, 13 and a half tackles for loss, and

steady pressure every game.

He's got power to pair with Lietu Latu and fill the pass rush gap after a week season.

Signing Art and Key helped depth, but Jockas could start week 1.

Meanwhile in the 3rd round at Pick 78, they grab Anthony Hill Jr. from Texas at linebacker.

Hill crushed it with over 100 tackles, 8 sacs, and force fumbles before a hand injury dipped

his stock.

With Jalen Carly's handling coverage, Hill brings the run-stuffing blitz we need.

In 4th round, pick 117, Eric McAllister from TCU steps up as wide receiver.

After trading Michael Pittman Jr., this 6 foot 4 guy with nearly 200 pounds had 72 catches,

1190 yards, and 10 touchdowns last year.

He's a mismatched nightmare with big play juice.

This mock haul punches up the defense quick and adds receiver upside without forcing early

risks.
