So the Indianapolis Colts offense, led by Shane Steichen and Daniel Jones, really had a field day against Jesse Mentor's defense last season when he was running the show for the LA Chargers. They put up a solid 38 points against his unit. Daniel Jones was slinging it, hitting 23 of 34 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. Jonathan Taylor was grinding, getting 94 yards on just 16 caries, and Alec Pierce was making plays, racking up 98 receiving. Yards on 5 catches. The Colts offense was just clicking that day. They were converting on third downs, getting it done in the red zone, and averaging almost seven yards per play. It was a pretty dominate performance on that side of the ball. Now of course, we all know that what happened last year doesn't automatically translate to this year's season opener. Mentor is now the head coach for the Baltimore Ravens, and he's got a whole new set of players

1:03and a different scheme to work with. So, while it's interesting to look back at that offensive success, this Sunday's game against the Ravens is a completely fresh start. It'll be a different challenge entirely for the Colts.
