Confusion over Iran's enriched uranium, Fragile truce in Lebanon

Now Iran says it's re-open the strait of Hormuz, but insists the United States must

end its naval blockade for it to remain open.

Its closure by Iran has choked global energy supplies for weeks.

Now President Donald Trump insists the U.S. naval blockade on Iranian vessels and ports

will remain and only be lifted once a peace deal is reached with Tehran.

Now Donald Trump earlier declared the strait of Hormuz is, quote,

completely open and ready for business.

But in the past few hours, the Speaker of Iran's parliament,

Mahmoud Ali Bahf said the U.S. blockade renders the strait closed,

but he says ships can only pass through designated route with Iran's authorization.

And there have also been mixed messages regarding the future

of more than 400 kilograms of Iran's enriched nuclear material.

Trump declared that the U.S. will get it, but Iran has rejected this outright.

And Washington and Tehran could be heading for a second round of talks

possibly within the coming days.

Trump claims a deal is mostly complete, however.

And Iranian sources told out to zero that negotiations are still a very early stage,

and the next step will be agreeing on a framework for negotiations

not a final agreement.

Now, as Abbas was just talking about there, Islamabad is positioning itself to host

the next round of direct talks between the two sides,

and security is ramping up in the capital.

Now President Donald Trump says the U.S. has prohibited Israel from attacking Lebanon.

It comes a day after he announced a 10-day ceasefire between the two countries.

Trump posted on social media saying the U.S.A. will separately

work with Lebanon and deal with the Hisbalah situation

in an appropriate manner.

Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer.

They are prohibited from doing so by the U.S.A.

Enough is enough.

Lebanon's president says his country can no longer be considered an arena for anyone's wars.

In a televised address, Joe's phone said his government's negotiations with Israel earlier this

week were not a sign of weakness.

Thousands of people displaced by the conflict between Israel and Hisbalah

have been heading south after the ceasefire came into effect.

Many are returning to find their homes completely destroyed.
