Le Roi Arthur est un roi légendaire de Bretagne, fils d'Uther Pendragon, qui a révélé sa royauté en retirant l'épée magique Excalibur d'une pierre. Il a créé la Table Ronde, symbole d'égalité entre ses chevaliers, et fut guidé par Merlin l’Enchanteur. Arthur et ses chevaliers, notamment Lancelot et Perceval, sont célèbres pour la quête du Saint Graal. Cependant, la trahison de Lancelot et Guenièvre, ainsi que la rébellion de Mordred, ont conduit à la chute de Camelot. Gravement blessé, Arthur aurait été emmené à Avalon, où il attendrait de revenir un jour.
