And hope, make it not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5-5 Dear Lord, You demonstrate Your love to us in the depths of our loneliness and shame. Even when we feel overwhelmed by what life has brought us, your grace still abounds. What wonderful news it is that we can take refuge in you. In it is a piece that guides us through the depths of our darkest hours. It brings us the comfort that no other can provide and fills us with an assurance that all will be made right in your timing. We thank You for Your grace, mercy, and never ending love that lifts us up when we feel

weighed down by shame, guilt, and loneliness. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank You for joining me in prayer. Stay tuned for today's free podcast, Meditative Prayers with Dr. Tim Clinton, where you can draw close to God and find strength in Him. Welcome to Your Meditative Prayer on Conquering Loneliness to get the most out of Your Spiritual Journey. Use Pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for today's Meditative Prayer is on Conquering Loneliness. Hope you'll take a moment to slow down. Begin in your favorite chair. Maybe you're in bed. Some place where you feel comfortable. Maybe grab a warm blanket and a pillow to hug. Put it beside you if you'd like. Now, tune out your doubts and your fears.

Once you're able to relax, turn your thoughts toward God and what He has for you today. Press into His Spirit. We're going to be meditating on Romans chapter 5 from the King James Version. It says, Now, hope make it not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us. Take a moment today right now to pour out your love and your adoration toward God. But I praise you for you're always there with me. Your comfort and consolation upholds me at all times. I worship you for you have plans for me, plans for hope and a future, plans for good and not harm. I exalt you for you are the great and mighty and awesome God.

I trust is safe when placed in you. You will never let me down. You know God gives you hope through the Holy Spirit. When Jesus went up to heaven, He told His disciples that they would not be left orphans in this world. Jesus promised that He would send a comforter, the Holy Spirit to stay with them until He returned to bring them back to His Father's house. The gift of salvation is your promise and seal that God's love for you will never end. And salvation grants you the gift of communion with God's Holy Spirit. It opens the door for a relationship and companionship of God's manifested love in your life. The Holy Spirit is a guarantee in the means through which you experience God's love here on earth. There's no limit or restriction on how much of Himself He is willing to pour out over

you. We are not ashamed to hope in Him because He will never let us down. We can trust Him without fear because He won't fail us. Put your trust in God today. Confess your sins to Him and reach out without fear. Now consider for a moment the Holy Spirit's care and thank Him for it. God's love for you has never and will never fail. He will always be there to comfort and guide you. Thank God that you are not bound to anxiety. You are free to receive God's love without measure. May God for past situations where He confirms His love to you. Thank God because He's good and He will always be good.

Thank God for His consolation and tenderness that He has shown you. I love that God is present and that He's listening. Never forget God wants you to not just exist but to live, to enjoy life to its full potential. The Bible warns that worry is futile because each day will hold its own challenges. Reach out to God then for His peace. Ask the Holy Spirit to walk with you in your journey one step at a time. Ask Him to help you to leave tomorrow's struggles to its own day. And remember this hope will never disappoint us because God has poured out His love to fill our hearts. God gave us His love through the Holy Spirit whom God has given to us. You have God's Spirit to help you and guide you.

You will never leave you nor abandon you. The Lord is with you. Thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on Prairie.com. By incorporating this healthy habit as a daily practice, you are making prayer a priority and strengthening your walk with God. I'm Dr. Tim Clinton, President of the American Association of Christian Counselors and we love being a part of your life.
