Now, there's a small chance of some scattered showers, or even a rumble of thunder popping up late Friday night and into Saturday afternoon. A cold front is moving through, and while it might bring a few isolated storms, widespread severe weather isn't expected. So, keep an umbrella handy for tailgating, but don't stress too much. The real weather action kicks off Saturday night and rolls into next week. There's a marginal risk for stronger storms across parts of South Central and Southeastern Nebraska. Sunday, that risk shifts to the northern part of the state. Monday is shaping up to be the busiest day for weather, with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms across Southeast Nebraska and Western Iowa. We could see some strong storms there,
