is Coral. Oh, look at this beautiful book. It's called Coral the Reef Fairy. And there she is.

Doesn't she look so sweet with her sparkly wings and at pretty, pretty dress?

She lives way down deep under the sea. So what do you think? Should we go on a magical adventure

with her? I think it's going to be so, so much fun. Okay, let's get ready.

Time to be very quiet. We're turning the first page to begin our story. Let's see what happens inside.

Our story begins on a beautiful warm and sunny day. We're all going to the beach. Can you just

imagine the warm sunshine on your face? Wow, would you look at that? It's a big,

happy party right on the sand. You can see everyone dancing and laughing. I bet we can hear the music,

can't we? Boom, chick a boom, chick a boom, chick a boom. What a happy sound. Let's pretend we can

feel the warm sand right between our toes. And look who's here. It's our two best friends.

This is Rachel and that's Kirsten. They absolutely love going on adventures and discovering new

things. And you can tell they are so, so excited to be at this beach party today. So Rachel and

Kirsten are about to learn something brand new. Something really important about the beautiful

big ocean. Let's listen in with them, okay? Well, the girls went for a little walk and they found

a little tent with lots of pretty pictures. There's a very kind lady there and she's telling them

all about the amazing world that's hidden under the water where all the pretty coral grows.

But you know, the lady tells them something that's a little bit sad. She says that the beautiful

colorful coral isn't feeling very well. The ocean water is getting just a little too warm for it

and it's making the coral feel sick. Oh dear. Oh, look at their faces. When they hear about the sick

coral, it makes Rachel and Kirsty feel very sad inside. They just love the beautiful ocean and

all the little fish who live there. They really, really want to do something to help. But just when

they're feeling a bit down, something truly magical is about to happen. You have to watch very,

very closely now. Are you looking? Hang on a second. Kirsty is pointing down the beach.

Do you see it way over by those big rocks? There's a little pool of water and something is sparkling.

It's glittering and glimmering just like a little star fell from the sky. What do you think it could be?

It's a fairy. Oh, wow. Look at her. She has the most beautiful sparkly wings and look,

she's riding on a big crab with such friendly eyes. Click, click, click goes the crab along the sand.

It's coral, the reef fairy. Hooray! And guess what? Coral is going to take us all on an adventure.

Are you ready to go deep, deep, deep down under the big blue water? Okay, hold on tight.

Here we go. Wooosh! We are zooming right through the water with magic sparkles all around us.

It's kind of like a super fast roller coaster, but with lots and lots of bubbles. Swish, swish, splash.

Isn't this so much fun? And then, just like that, everything slows right down. Wow,

just look at this magical place. It's so quiet and pretty under the sea. I can see fish with all

sorts of colors. There's yellow and orange and blue. And look, the seaweed is gently waving hello

to us. Hello, seaweed. And wait a minute. Look over there. Haha. Can you see that silly fish? He looks

like a little clown. And he's juggling tiny white shells with his fins. Boop, boop, boop. He is so

funny. Now, as much fun as this is, this isn't just a fun trip. It turns out Coral really needs

our help with a very important job. Oh no, Coral explains to the girls that some naughty little goblins

have taken her magic wand. And she really needs that wand to do her special magic, the magic that

keeps the coral reefs healthy and strong. So it looks like we have a mission. We have to help

Rachel and Kirstie and of course Coral. So first, we have to go to the big coral reef. Then we

need to find those silly goblins. After that, we're going to get that magic wand back. And then

Coral can save the beautiful coral. We can do it. And poof with just a little bit of fairy magic.

The girls are right back on the warm sand. Their amazing trip under the water is over. But now they

know something very important. They know how important it is to always help protect our beautiful

oceans and all the little creatures that live there. Wasn't that just a wonderful story?

Now, before you drift off to sleep, I have one little question for you. If you could go on a

magical adventure under the sea, just like Rachel and Kirstie, what would you want to see?

Maybe a sparkly mermaid or maybe a family of friendly seahorses? You can dream all about it
