Cosby Losing Civil Suit, Jury Awards $19M

siding with Donna Motsinger and awarding her 19, $1,250,000 in damages.

Moatsinger claimed Cosby drugged an assault at her back in 1972 when she was a restaurant server.

New laws in California lifted time limits on old sexual assault claims, letting her bring the suit decades later.

The jury took three days to decide after hearing her side.

Motsinger called it a five-decade fight for justice.

Cosby, once a top comedian and TV star, faces many similar accusations from women over the years.

He served three years in prison after a criminal conviction in 2018, but got out in 2021
