Cotabato farmer's torture leaves his body broken - The Memory Project

"Labing-isang pilay lahat ang kanyang nakamtan na hanggang ngayon ay kanyang pinagdurusahan. Dahil dito hindi nila maayos-ayos ang kanilang pamumuhay," reads a Cotabato farmer's affidavit. He had been captured in in 1984, and though he was freed after five days, his wounds lasted for over a decade.
