Cowboys' Barham: Nightmare for Offenses

On April 30, Dallas Cowboys went all in on defense during the 2026 NFL draft, loading

up big in the first three rounds.

They grabbed safety Caleb Downs and Edge R Usher, Malachi Lawrence, right out the gate

in Round 1.

Then snagged linebacker Edge Guy, Wyshon Barham, from Michigan in Round 3 since they had

no second round pick.

They even traded back from pick 20 to 23, picking up some fourth rounders from the Eagles

along the way, but held firm to land Barham.

Instead of chasing another deal, ESPN's Matt Miller has hyped about it, calling Barham

the 30th best pick across the whole draft, a straight steal at the end of Round 3.

Barham switched from linebacker to Edge in 2025 under XNFL coordinator, Wink Martin

Dale, involved out with 32 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 3 pass breakups, and

a forced fumble.

Dude explodes off the line.

Haces plays from the back side, reads offences quick from his linebacker days, and hits

like a truck.

In Dallas, he'll kick off as an inside linebacker, but slide into hybrid spots on the Edge

2, making their nickel packages a nightmare for offences.
