Hi, I'm Johnny Erickson Tata. Recently, Ken and I got back from a very busy week of travel. We were so tired, but we were committed to reading scripture every day. And so, although we were tired, we opened up our Bibles to the Book of Judges. And guess what we found? In chapter 8 verse 4, it says, Gideon and his 300 men, exhausted, yet keeping up the pursuit, came to the Jordan and crossed it. Did you love that? Gideon's troops were exhausted, completely worn out, and yet they kept up the pursuit. Don't you love that? It's a short but potent little lesson about pressing on, especially when our circumstances are hard and painful. And it was just what Ken and I needed to hear. So, friend, whether you are exhausted from travel, the battles of chronic pain, or worn out from the day to day routines and parenting, remember that you too can press on by the grace of God. Keep up the pursuit.
