CrossFit's New CEO, Zwift Buys Rouvy, Tally Health Gets Acquired

CrossFit has a new CEO.

The company appointed Bruce Edwards, a former CEO and longtime insider,

to lead the brand as it looks to stabilize and re-accelerate growth.

Edwards helps gal CrossFit during its early expansion. Later, he led bar three and a major

planet fitness franchise group, bringing both boutique and big box experience.

Now he's rejoining during a period of transition. Following leadership turnover,

brand challenges, and increased competition from high rocks, boutique studios,

and strength-focused concepts, CrossFit is working to reassert its position in the crowded fitness

market. Re-focusing on execution, Edwards looks to strengthen the affiliate network,

reinforce the methodology, and rebuild the momentum.

Swift is consolidating the cycling stack.

The company acquired Ruby, combining its gamified training platform

with Ruby's real world route experience. The deal allows both platforms to operate independently,

but unlocks immediate integration with Swift hardware, including its trainers and ride smart

bike. For Swift, this is a move towards ecosystem control. After raising more than $600

million in expanding into hardware, the company is shifting from a single app to a broader

infrastructure layer for endurance training. Infinite epigenetics is acquiring Tally Health.

The deal combines one of the largest epigenetic testing platforms with the consumer-facing

longevity brand, creating a vertically integrated system across diagnostics, data, and personalized

interventions. Co-founded by Harvard professor Dr. David Sinclair, Tally Health translates

DNA methylation data into biological age testing, supplements, and lifestyle recommendations.

The combined platform expands from research and diagnostics into consumer health,

positioning epigenetics as a core input for preventative care.

As longevity shifts from niche to mainstream, companies are building full stack
