CTDW Episode 15 - The First Emperor

The first Emperor. What a title! Who are we referring to? Many believe he could be Gilgamesh, Akkad, Orion... Who is he? The Bible refers to this character as Nimrod. He is the one that left his family's path to follow YHWH after the great flood. The Bible tells us "he began to become a might one." This word is "Gibor" in Hebrew. A word often associated with the semi-devine nephilim, but can also just mean "great." What, if anything, happened to Nimrod? Is Nimrod who we think he was? - simply a man that grained great clout in the old world through might and tyrranical behavior? Or was he something more altogether? There are many questions about this individual and his legacy that remain unsolved. We take a swing, with sword in hand, at uncovering who exactly THE FIRST EMPEROR really was.
