You're listening to the Dana and Parks podcast on KMBZ. We have been sitting on pun intended this next story all day. And it's time. It's got it's time to unleash that line. Okay, I have to go back and get the story, but he is from ABC. I witness seven news. Okay, go ahead. You want to read? You want me to read it? A repeat offender has been charged after multiple butt sniffing incidents. He's known as the butt sniffer. May you smell it. Smell it. Kind of smell. Smell smell. Smell. 39 year old police crouter was arrested last week by the Glendale Police Department. He has a history of arrests in the San Vernon, Dino Valley for allegedly seeking out women specifically and their hind regions. Cool. When you start butt sniffing, it's hard to stop.

It's addictive. Always, by the way, this one of these is God. He did it in a Marshall's clothing store. It looks like no, no, don't think Marshall's clothing. Think TJ Maxx. Like in the where in the aisle where you would buy like, they've got kitchen appliances. Don't think clothing. It looks to me like when she's looking at whisks and spatula turner things. They also did it in a wall grave. Yes. Officers were called there on Friday. They said, Crouter had been crouching down, quote, getting close to others. And so sure enough, they they looked at the surveillance and saw the cereal. They call him a cereal butt sniffer. That's what? Well, you do it more than once and you become cereal. It's a lot. Crouter's just trying to get a whiff of that chowder. You know what I'm saying? Sam Stevie. Quoting here from store manager Jimmy co.

I know he's harmless, but it's a weird fetish. Co says it is the third time the man has engaged in similar behavior at his store. He crouches down. He says like he normally would. And he just looks around and then tries to take the chance to get close to a woman's behind. Can you get to be more creative, man? Walk over to her. Be like, oh, my shoes untied. Drop down there. Tie the shoe. Away. What does one sound like when they're sniffing butt? Crouter has been arrested for violating the terms of his parole. At last check he was being held without bail. He was re-arrested in August 2025. After yet another sniffing incident that one at a wall green store in Burbank. He was on parole at that time. They call it loot conduct. And honestly, if you turn around at like one of these looks like a Barnes and Noble, if you turn around in the bookstore and there's some guy crouching down behind you,

he's getting clocked in the head with a hard back. I mean, he's just checking from the text line. That man needs a hobby. I think he has one. Listen to the police report. What an idiot. Of Walmart. While in the women's section, the suspect was observed following a female customer, crouching near her and engaging in loot behavior by inappropriately sniffing her butt. I can't understand you when you're laughing through the line. Police right. Engaging in loot behavior by inappropriately sniffing her butt talks. That is in the police report. Crack is whack. That crack is whack. It just has, it has happened so many times, you guys. From the text line, how is smelling air a crime if he doesn't physically touch them? Where is the crime? Okay, so so much of this is caught on surveillance tape.

You tell me Scott, if this happened, and here's the serious news man on it, we need to bring up one of the news stories. Because they are very serious, you know, as they are, and this is a crime. You know, anytime you're getting that close to a woman's space again and again and again, in one of the cases, you guys, he had to register as an offender because they believe this to be motivated by Luden Lucidius things. Right. He had to register as a second. He needs to be probably institutionalized. You think? Yes, I do. Dana, if you run around, I mean, unless you have a baby and you're pulling the diaper back to see if it's time for a change. That is the only time. You don't sniff, but I'm trying to get up, hang on for a second, Sam, I'm trying to get this ABC7 story, but they're in the middle of a commercial right now. Okay, I think I've, there we go. Let's see if this is an actual, yep, it is. It's an actual news report.

Here it is from ABC7 in California. It is back. He's already been arrested and jailed on the same charges before. So why can't law enforcement keep this chronic creeper from committing more crimes? The latest incident at a neighborhood grocery store was also captured on surveillance video. And we have it. I went this news reporter Tim Pulliam has the story from Glendale. Take a look. The alleged butt sniffer is apparently back to his dirty deeds. This latest attempt caught on security video at Big Say Discount Store in Glendale, where Jimmy Coe is manager. I know he's harmless, but that's a, it's a weird fetish. In the video, the suspect's apparent obsession targeted toward the store clerk stocking shelves. Jimmy says this is the third time the man has done this at his store. Caughting down like he would normally would and he'll just look around and then just trying to take the chance to sniff like any woman's butt. The first time I caught him, I was like, what is this guy doing? He looks creepy. Do you want a sniff butt? You could do it to sniff somewhere else. Glendale police identified the suspect as police crowder.

After witnesses reporting him doing something similar at another store the same day. The 39 year old. Okay. In one of the videos and this appears to be Barnes and Noble, the woman is just casually like looking at the books, like looking at the bookshelf like you would. And the video is pointed toward her and all you see behind her and this is creepy. Picture the Spider-Man pose, the crouch down Spider-Man guy. Yes. And he gets right up against her crouch down. So if I turned around and some strange dude was crouch down, I mean, he's getting a need to the face. There would be a legal assault and battery on that man. From the text line, that is aesonine. Get out. I'm actually trying to figure out where the law would apply here. Because his intent, Sam, I mean, I'm not condoning it. And from the text line, I wouldn't want my daughter in a store with this guy. But you can't because where does it starts with the sniffing and where does it end?

The only thing I can figure is that this would be assault. Get out. He's probably going to get fired from his job at the gas company. I'm not even acknowledging that last comment. If he accidentally touched him, would it be buttery? Get out, Samuel! Whoa! They actually wanted the TV station, you guys. Got a legal expert to weigh in on this. Why does Crowder keep re-sniffing? It really comes down to it seems the limitations of the law and what he's accused of doing. I reviewed footage. To think about it, hang on. California does not have a law that would specifically deal. I don't think they do. And why would they? What are you going to call your lawmaker and go look? I know it's one guy and this is going to sound really weird. But could we have a law?

What is the crime? I know it's bad, it's wrong. He shouldn't do that, but what is the crime? And I don't think one exists. As long as he doesn't touch you. By the way, when confronted, you know what he says, ladies? I'm sorry, I'm tying my shoe. Right underneath my butt, Jake, you're tying your shoes. No. It sets a weird precedent though, too. Charge a crime because he was too close to a woman. What if they're on a subway? Then it does need to tie a shoe. Yeah, the attorney says he just happens to inhale. If there's an actual touching, that is a felony. But quote, just sniffing somebody, it really doesn't rise to a felony as the law stands now. It is very hard to fire file rather a felony offense based on this conduct. Now he's in trouble because it's a parole violation, which is probably more than what he's going to get for the old sniffing weird stuff. Somebody says on the text that you don't have to touch someone to be convicted of stalking.

But you have to stalk somebody to be charged with stalking. Yeah, he's stalking Marge once in a Barnes and Noble. And then he goes across to Marshalls and stalks a woman over there. But is that really what he, I mean, is that the, is he really stalking them? He's just, he's picking these wind them, wind them, women at random. Is he not? Or at least that's the way what we're led to believe in these news stories is that he's just there. You walk by in one, in one of the videos, the woman bends over to pick something up and he goes right into action. It's go time people. This is my Olympic. I got a window of opportunity. I'm not going to let it pass 913 586 777 98.
