DAB Kids September 4, 2026

0:00Welcome to the Daily Audi Bible Kids, I'm Miseekio, today is the 4th day of September, the day reading 2nd Corinthians 7-8-16 and reading the New Living Translation. I am not sorry that I send that severe letter to you, though I was sorry at first, or I know it was painful to you for a little while. Now I am glad I sent it, not because I hurt you, but because the pain caused you to repent and change your ways. It was the kind of sorrow God wants these people to have, so you were not harmed by us in any way, but the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There is no regret for that kind of sorrow, or worldly sorrow which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. Just see what this Godly sorrow produces in you, such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such are readiness to punish wrong. You show that you have done everything necessary to make things right.

1:00My purpose then was not to write about who did the wrong or who was wronged. I wrote to you so that in the sight of God you could see for yourselves how loyal you are to us. We have been greatly encouraged by this. In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was about the way all of you were welcomed him, and set his mind at ease. I told him how proudly I was of you, and you didn't disappoint me. I have always told you the truth, and now my boasting to Titus has also proved true. Now he cares for you more than ever, when he remembers the way all of you obeyed him and welcomed him with such fear and in deep respect. I am very happy now, because I have complete confidence in you. Oye, you're right today is Paul was selling the Corinthians about a letter that he wrote to them that was a letter of pain that the Corinthians experienced pain, the experienced sorrow, the experienced sadness and guilt because of something Paul told them was wrong,

2:01because they were doing something that Paul was saying it's not Christ's like. He was condemning them of that and telling them to repent from that. And the Corinthians, they read Paul's letter, they realized what they were doing was wrong in the eyes of the Lord, and they felt guilt, they felt sadness, and they repented. And that's a good lesson that Paul set for us today is that there's a difference between Baker Pentance and Real Repentance. Baker Pentance is just saying, oh, I'll stop doing that. And then a week later you do the same thing. Real repentance is noticing that you're doing something wrong. You feel actual guilt. You ask for forgiveness and you truly turn away from it. And sometimes it's easier said than done. But let's pray that we will try to have true repentance. Here Jesus, help us to have the strength to truly repent, to turn away from the sinful

3:01things we do every day. We all are sinners. We all do sins. Even if we don't know their sins or even if we do know their sins, we sin every day. Help us to try to repent of some unhealthy habits that affect us. Some unhealthy things that ruin our soul and corrupt our mind, help us to get rid of them and to truly repent, truly turn away from the wicked things in Jesus' name. Amen. That's it for today.
