On September 10th, alright, let's talk about some quarterback and receiver news that dropped after last night's game. Sam Darnold, the Seahawks starting QB, went down early with the hip injury. He landed hard and had to leave the field, heading straight to the hospital for X-rays and the CT scan. The initial word is actually pretty encouraging. They don't think there's a fracture in his hip socket, which is definitely good news. He's getting an MRI today to figure out the full extent of the damage, so we'll know more about the severity then, but the team is feeling positive about it. Even with that positive outlook, there's a chance he could end up on short-term injured reserve that would give him about four games to recover and rehab the hip, which was clearly bothering him. It's tough to see your starter go down that early in the game. Meanwhile, over on the other side, AJ Brown also suffered an injury and ankle issue. There's a possibility of a knee injury too, as those can sometimes go hand in hand. He was seen in a walking boot after the game, and it didn't look promising.

Brown is also undergoing MRIs and other tests today to get a clearer picture of what's going on. It wouldn't be a shock at all if he misses some time for the Patriots. We'll be keeping an eye on those results as they come in. From your team, powered by AI, this is Seattle Seahawks News Today.
