The best of the Dave and Molly show is brought to you by Jewelry Design Center. We want to be your jeweler for life. Live from the New America studio and brought to you by Northern Quasibus or Tinkasino. It's the Dave and Molly show. It's already the middle part of the week feeling good, feeling strong? I really like when a Wednesday sneaks up on you. And that Wednesday is very special because that's football. Yes. This is the first time in the history of our courier together where we spent the morning before the show talking about the lines for football. I was one would do. What do they call it? What are the odds? What was it? I was doing the betting lines. I was doing my picks. So I have my whole cast ready to go for the whole fantasy football. For their show.

For their show. They all have their new deer costumes. I picked my pickups and I did my survivor pool and I picked the Lions to win this weekend. All they have to do is win and you move on to the next round. That's exactly right. So it's all done. You got everything. You got you got a survivor league. You got a pickups league. You got a fantasy team. Yes. Yeah, you are all in. The only thing you're missing is your giant stat. But you can save that for actually maybe Friday because they play Sunday night. When I came back to my car yesterday. You remember how it was pouring down rain when we came in. So you know, you park and then your car drips all the water underneath. Somehow my giant's hat landed on the ground right next to my driver's side door. And it was soaked completely through. It was almost like somebody sabotaged. It was almost like somebody grabbed it and threw it there. It's drying out. Everything's fine. What is going on? Those were headphones. Oh, I just, I just, I know everything is fine.

Okay. It is the ninth day of the ninth month and it's go time. Uh-huh. Midweek Wednesday is here. This is a very exciting day. Talk about another first. Yeah. The first time we ever have football starting on a Wednesday. So that's something. Yeah. Today on our show right here in this studio. There will be a live pig. Yeah. What could possibly go wrong with that? I think that's going to be very exciting. It'll be fun. Pancake. The pig is coming in to talk about sensory day at the fair. Yesterday we talked about a lot of the stuff that's going on tomorrow. We'll talk more about the speak easy and brown distillery. But for today, it's all about the pig. All about the pig. Uh-huh. Uh, that's going to happen. Uh, what time you think around nine o'clock? I think. Oh, let me go to the end of the day. First we will talk about it. Oh, let me go to that. We'll talk about it. All about the pig. Uh, eight o'clock. Okay. By the way, well, we have you here. If you want to enter the win tomorrow, we're going to give away four pair of tickets to the fair rules. And afterwards, so just text in the word fair.

Um, at 5094483237. All you have to do is do that. You'll get a text back that says you're in. And then we'll do a random drawing. And four people will win a pair of tickets. Okay. Pretty good. four winners. Four winners. Pretty good. Yeah. Collie will be coming in and she's going to come in right around 830 and then she will stay and then they'll be the Pig will be coming in too. I think it's good that we're having her in prior to the pig rather than after because we don't want to Big. Oh, it's a pigstine here. Let me just move this stuff away and then and if anything goes wrong, if the pig leaves us gifts of sorts, then at least we don't have no. We haven't even thought about like we need to plan in case there is a situation. I think they know. I think that they are, I pigs are potty trained. They're house trained and I think this this pig is a special pig. This isn't just like a pig that you grab off the farm and go, come on. We're going on a show piglet. No, this is this is pancake. Pancake is trained. Okay. Yeah. We hope we hope we'll see. I don't believe there's maybe

the, you know, I don't think that there's ever been a pig inside the well, I'm sure there's never been one in this room. No. And I don't know that they've ever had one out on the set before. I don't think so. Now in the old studio, we had goats and we had a mini, uh, koala or not koala kangaroo. Do you remember that? Oh, yeah. And it pooped. Yeah. Yeah. But it was like a diaper though. Didn't it have a diaper? One of them did pellets. Maybe it was one of the goats. I remember cleaning up pellets, but, but and I don't know what paid poop looks like to be honest. I don't know. Well, the stuff they eat, we may find out today. Yeah. I don't know. But we did have a little koala or, um, yeah, a kangaroo. Because remember, I used it for my audition for survivor. That's on YouTube somewhere. Look at that up. Yeah. It's going to be very, very, very exciting. That'd be cool. Uh, we have a pig and we have Kali and we have the showdown and you claim there's going to be a lot of football questions. Yeah. Oh,

I love this. Just so you know, it don't call in if you don't know some stuff about football. It's not all there's some general knowledge. There's, I think four of the questions are football related. Okay. Uh, some is general and then some is more specific. So in honor of the first day of the football season. Yeah. Uh-huh. We got football today. Football tomorrow. And then there's some college games on Friday, ton of college games on Saturday, all the programs on Sunday, except for one. And that will be on Monday. That's how you kick off the season. Let's see the time I giant play. They, they're Sunday night game. They're on cage. Q 520 Sunday night. Mm-hmm. Uh, what's the date? Is that the 13th? Yeah. Yes. Sunday is the 13th. Going to have to record it. I believe I'm going to be at that uh, speedy, easy, that private speed. Oh, our friends from the, uh, mm-hmm. Yeah. Then I'll come home all hit tanked up. And I'll be like, my giants don't win.

Call those noises. Yeah. Uh, that texted in the word fire. Uh, no, it's, uh, it's fair. Right? Yeah. As of typo. It's gotta be a type. It's gotta be. Yeah. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Jaislyn just oh no. Jaislyn. Is that a pig who looks just like hours? Yeah. Anyhow, uh, let's, uh, it's go time everybody. Uh, oh, yesterday was, uh, was a longer day here. I ended up staying for a while. And then, you know, the longer I stay here, it can get longer because then there's, there's the regular people that work here. Uh, but our friend Leslie Low stopped in for a bit, uh, chatted her up special. And, um, and then I finally got, I think I don't think I got home until around one o'clock. Okay. And remember, my original plan was, I was gonna go home. I was going to assess the library situation where the library had

fallen apart. Exploded. There was, there was a, there was an incident, you know, the little book library right out in front of the house. So I get home and I think to myself, I know somewhere in the house, I've got all the parts that I need to fix this thing. You know, just over the, like, down in the basement or in the garage, there's got to be a piece of wood or something that will work. Well, I start looking around and one thing leads to another and it's like, then it's like, I'm cleaning things and stuff that hasn't been moved in years. And I'm doing that. And it's just the day sort of got away. Then after feeling kind of dusty and rhyming, it was cleaning a lot of stuff, I said, I get, I gotta get out and get some fresh air. Yesterday afternoon was gorgeous. What a beautiful day yesterday. Yes. So nice. Yeah. And remember how the day started. It was raining and kind of cold and everything. So I took Maui and we went for a, what used to be our long walk.

Everybody was out there. It's kids riding bikes and there was people getting run in. Some people were running with their dog. And then I think me and my dog looked at those people and said, well, I ain't gonna happen. We're just gonna, we're gonna mosey on down. So, so that was great. I think that was good to kind of kind of get outside. Got back in, clean myself up a bit. And then I remembered that Ted Lasso secretly is on Tuesdays. They always say Wednesday, but it's always a day early on Apple. So I clicked over there to see if it was on. And it was. Oh, and I was, it's a great episode. It's, this one's all about relationships. Oh, okay. So just when you think something's, one thing is happening. Oh, stop it. It goes another. Oh, so it's like, oh, yeah. Can't help yourself. I couldn't help myself. It's great. That was, that was very good. Then I, 45, 46 minutes. I'm like that. Yeah.

Because remember the furt was at the first season where they had that weird hour and well minute one that was like, there was one that was, and that was the one coach and he was off like, he took acid or something. Was it it something like coach beer? Yeah, there's a, there's a lot of coach beard in this. Is there? Well, I know that he ran into an ex in the previous. She was doing a show of some sort, right? Right. I forgot about his whole relationship. But I think you're like, I think you're like the latest episode of Ted Lasso. I just want Keely and what's his name? Oh, but he, she made him go on all those dates. Oh, no, it's going to backfire. Now that is just texted in the word fart. I think he's doing a bit of messing with us. That's funny. He put fair F-A-R-E fire fart. Marla Hooch, what a hitter. That's what I'm before.

And then, you know, because today is a football day yesterday was football Eve. So there's a lot of football shows. Oh, sure. So I'm clicking around watching football shows. I did, this was the other day I forgot to mention I watched a, it was kind of like a documentary facing El Chapo. Have you seen that? I haven't seen the thing, but I haven't watched it. So remember El Chapo was the Mexican cartel guy, drug guy, bad guy. And anyway, they finally caught him. This is back probably 10 years ago, but how they caught him was crazy. And this is a movie based on the true story of how it all happened. So I got involved in that. So it's actors. It's a written. Yes, but then at the very end, they have the real guys. They have to blur out their faces because they all had to go like, not undercover. What do you call it when they secret? Yeah, when you're a protective. Yeah, yeah, but in Mexico. So yeah, yeah, because they don't mess around over there. Yeah, no kidding.

So that was, that was very interesting. But that was pretty much, pretty much the day I didn't, and no progress made on the library. Although I did learn that I don't have the stuff to, to make it work. So it will have to be like a hardware store kind of a thing. And then I think the better I plan, the quicker the process will be to rebuild the little bookhouse. Think of all the people who are going by with their book. Oh, yeah, sad. It was only here. The free library was only here for a few days. It was, yeah, it was like a week. It was just too popular. It actually was very popular. And the, and the other thing I learned books are heavy. Oh, yeah. Boy, they've a lot of books. Well, it makes me see now when I look, because there's a couple in my neighborhood, when I look at the structure now. Yes, I do. Very interesting to me how they're built.

Yeah, well, you know, yesterday I left you for dead. Well, I had gotten everything accomplished that I could hear sending emails out and doing stuff. And then our friend Rocky, he had this cool letter for me for my airplane collection. And it was, you know, an airmail used to be sent, they would stamp it like it would, it would say 747 air mail to, I remember that they used to have air mail envelopes like special like, yeah. But this is a letter that he had. And I don't know, I'm trying to think of where he had it. But I'll show you the picture. See how this picture, it says 747 American Airlines from 1970. So anyway, he offered it to me for my collection. And then he said, Hey, I'm going to be out at church. Oh, church is the casino for our new viewers. She goes to the casino a lot and she calls the casino, the church. Yeah. So I said, well, I'll probably be out there by noon. So right at noon, meet at the pizza place, hand off the letter. And then I'm on my way

to gambling. And it was fun. So I had two and a half hours. That was my window. I had to leave at 2.30. I think I'll get the girls at school, which was perfect because I probably overstayed by 20 minutes. I would have left with a little bit more money. But I did well. All of the machines were behaving properly. In fact, the the quick hit machine, I hit the not the first one, but the second one. And it was really high. It was like pretty high. Oh, yeah. Hit that one on the very next spin. I hit the small one, which is up at like $38 back to back spins. Yeah. Yeah. And then I had a couple of bonuses in there, which were pretty good. So all the machines were behaving. I was sitting next to a guy. There's this mummy machine. And it's really, really fun. If you get it to go, it collects all these diamonds and it sends it up. And then you it's really cool. Well, I'm sitting there. And the guy gets to pick for the, you know, where there's choices. So he picks, he picks, he picks. And I looked over. I said, did you just win the grand prize? And he said, yup, $8,500.

And I said, what? You just won't he goes, yeah, that'll make my day a little better. And I thought, well, that would make my whole life a little bit. And he was all calm about it. So lady comes by with the iPad. Oh, I congratulate you. Everyone here before. Oh, yeah. I've won here before. And I thought, this is nothing to him. But I think he was betting maybe $3. I've never seen, I know it happens all the time, but it's always that many, you know, always. And this is it a game you play. I was playing right next to it. Oh, same bank. And I was, I was so happy. I got a bonus that was like $85. And I'm thinking, well, I'm rich. Look at me. Look at me. And then he gets $8,500. So that way it was kind of cool though. Yeah. And I said, why am I sitting here? I need to go now. It's not going to pay two grand prizes right in a row. So move along, little lady. Move along. So for that, does he get all cash or do you get a checker? I didn't see, but, but I was talking

to Rocky because he was, uh, he had another game he liked. And so I played with him for a little bit. But I, he said, uh, he watched a guy win, I don't know, five, six thousand dollars or whatever he said, he didn't have him take any taxes out. And I said, that's a dangerous game. You play. I always haven't, though a year that I won all those jackpots, I haven't taken 22% off of everything. Because otherwise you're going to owe a bunch of tax at the end of the year. You got it. You got it. Hey, hey, that's a good problem to have. Wouldn't it be a good problem to have to decide? Hmm. Sure would be. So that was super fun. And then I got my little bag of luggage, which I had to go to the billion. And I saw our friends that we always see at the, um, the giveaways. They were there. And then I handed off to pick up the girls at school. And they were excited because they didn't know. I had said I had a meeting, which I did. And then it got moved. So I said, well, now I'm free to pick them up. So they were all excited. And it was beautiful. When I was out, it was three o'clock or outside. It was so nice. That's about when we were walking. Yeah. It was so pretty.

And I feel guilty because, well, I wasn't home up to then. And then Ken said he was out at trailhead playing nine holes with his son. And then he ran into a friend. So he was sitting at that new Mexican restaurant. And he said, looking over the ninth green, he said, it is so beautiful here. It was just the perfect day. I didn't get her out. But I did. Um, uh, we went home for a bit. Got the girls all situated. Then I took them. What I did while they were at Karate's, I went out to the north side panda. I used that time to get on my computer. It gets a mark done. Then at the last minute, ordered there to go. Then had it back to get them. I'm a genius. I was trying to think of somewhere I could sit with my computer. And then I thought, well, I want to sit there. Then I killed two birds. Then I don't have to go in a panda afterwards at six o'clock, which you know, it's going to be crowded. So I picked them back up and dropped them off. But here's what I watched last night. And I loved it. It's called I pity the fool. And it's the, it's the Mr. T documentary. It's only 48 minutes long. And it's Netflix. It's Netflix.

How did I miss that? I don't know. It popped up on my thing. But I really liked it because it talks about how he was cast as, you know, how he grew up. He was a bouncer, right? Yeah. Was he working a bar? Yeah. He was a bodyguard. And he was on a TV show. Here are what it's called. But basically they had a bouncer contest. And Sylvester Stallone saw that. And, and he was like, that we need him to audition for, you know, and I guess originally, they wanted him to have a Jamaican accent. And so Mr. T's trying to do all that. And then Sylvester Stallone was, forget it. Don't, don't do the accent. Just come in. And they hired him. And anyway, it talks about his life when he grew up in the south side of Chicago. And he has like, I think he said six brothers and four sisters or something like that. There's six of boys. And now he's a preacher. And he's just like, but, but you see how he came from nothing. And then he was the biggest thing on the planet. And he was huge. And then his ego got the better of him.

What did he do with all his money? Well, he did. I don't think he has a lot of it left. I think he got into tax trouble. And I think he also bought a huge mansion. His mom used to clean houses. So he bought the biggest house that he could where she used to clean houses like in that neighborhood or something. So she could have a mansion. And so anyway, I thought it was really good. It's only 48 minutes. And then I started watching a toxic love story. I fell asleep towards the very end. That's another documentary. And I fell asleep towards the very end. So I don't know exactly what happened, but talk about twists and turns. You think you know what's going on. You're all mad at one person. Then you're mad at another. Then you're mad at another. So that was my viewing. I didn't get any, any, any Brady bunches in last night. And I went to bed pretty early. So I went to bed pretty early too. And then the both alarms were yelling at me. Oh my god. Yeah. I just I was sleeping all the way through all of it. I woke up around 2.30. But it was the good kind of wake up where you can go right back to sleep. But then you know,

you have like another hour and a half asleep. I like that. And then I used a little bit. And then I was up preparing football trivia. Oh, I like it. So you say four of the 10 questions showdown questions will be football related. That is correct. Profit ball. All profitable. Okay. And then I'll have a show question of course. And I don't know about a money question. Let's see. Let me see if there'll be a money question. Make it a football question. No. No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, we'll have we'll have a money question. And it will be a football question. Oh. Okay. How about that? I'm very excited about that. Yeah. I just happen. But seriously, if you want to play today, make sure it's that you know a little bit about football or you're going to be mad. And this may be the last time we're talking about football opening day tonight. Seahawks on KHQ tonight.

Um, the Mariner thing that Mariner's lost again. They I think it's over. I don't know that they've been mathematically eliminated. But what a tremendous disappointment. I mean, this is they were, you know, they were in the American League Championship series last year. Yeah. They were so close. And then this year was like, okay, this is the year. Finally, it's the year. Molly convinces Ken to put a hundred dollars of his hard earned retirement money on the Mariner's and I, what a, that just never. Yeah. Just never. And everybody kept saying, oh, well, it's it's early, you know, we'll they'll figure it out. They'll get it going because there was there's a lot of talent there. I don't know. I don't know how this plays out in the off season. But that that's. Doesn't somebody need to get fired though? I don't know. I guess it's hard to it's hard to figure. It's just one of those. That's why they play the game sports is crazy. You never know.

So well, I'm sorry to hear about. So I'm I'm off of the whole the Mariner. I don't even think I think if they even if they went out, I don't know that they do anything. How am I? Um, I think your twins are probably out of it too. Although they're not, they're not mathematically eliminated. They're in a similar situation like the Mariner's where they're in a division that's not very good. And even though they're not very good, they're not out of contention. I think the Red Sox lost yesterday. Oh, no, but they'll they'll be in the playoffs. Um, here's something kind of fun too. And I was saying this earlier to Sam and to you two years ago today. Oh, yeah. Uh, we were making our announcement on K HQ and all of the memories popped up. It was so cool. It's when we we talked to Sam. I believe we were on in the morning. And then later that day, um, uh, Sean and Leslie reran it. So that's what I was seeing.

But it was, um, it was really cool. And and you can tell it's funny. Sam, he didn't know what, he knew you, but he didn't know me at all. And so it's just like such a different thing. But that was two years ago. We also announced that we were going to do our party on the 17 at the Fox. Yep. And then there we announced that we were starting our show the 23rd. And then like idiots, we announced a few weeks back that we'd be walking to Northern Quest on our anniversary. We're two weeks away from the walk two weeks away from the one. I feel I feel a little concerned about my feet tomorrow. And I try to get, yeah, I got it. I got to work on this bunion situation. It just hurts. Even with my new shoes, it just hurts. But it'll be fine. I think we do need to have, now hear me out. I'm all in for the walk. However, the weather situation, I don't care if it's cooler or what, but I'm worried about rain or, uh, you know, super high winds. I think we, I don't want to walk at the rain. I don't want to walk, you know, three and a half miles in the rain. Well,

it's eight and a half miles. So I mean eight and a half. You really probably don't want to be walking. Well, figured out. But also if you want to say enough for the walk, if you go to the davidmollymerch.com, it's free. You can opt to buy a t shirt if you want to. And then you could, or you can beat like, you can just root for us and you can just show up at the casino or you can walk with us. We're going to walk at noon and go to the davidmollymerch.com and then just sign up. So we know you're going to be there. I don't have a head down. We can't charge people to walk. Oh, you want to walk? It's going to cost you. We have no power over that. No, we don't. Anyway, it's pretty cool to look back. I hope that yesterday's weather. Yes. We'll be two weeks from today's weather. I think that would be a beautiful day for a walk. I think it's going to be fine. I think that let's let's just look at the forecast. Shall we see like even up through. Okay. So so maybe there's a thunderstorm on Sunday. Big what,

right? What big what? But how's the weather on Monday look? Monday is sunny and 70. One. What do you think of that? See and then 72 68 71. There's a little bit of rain here and there, but all the way up till next Friday. It's like six in the 60. Yeah, we're we're we're a ways out. But it'll be fine. I think it'll be fine. Yeah, but I just want to throw that out. If it's like if we're a day out and it says there's an 85% chance of rain and cooler. I think we need to have like a okay, well, maybe it's the next day or I don't know. I don't want to walk in the rain. Not eight and a half miles. What if we get shuttled? We got it. We got to get that first of all, we need to talk to the casino. We have a lot of planning that we need to happen. And then we need to talk to the brick west people and then maybe what we need to do is they have those shuttles that they run back and forth. And I'm sure they'd be happy to come get us. And maybe we just walk the last

mile. If it's raining. All right, we'll figure it out. How about if instead of walking, we take shuttle service? What if we all take the STA? What if we just drive to North and meet there and then walk around the casino a lot and we do our university like we were going to be and you can go play cards with Dave. They get maybe Quinn out there to do some sports betting. No, we're doing what we got to do the walk. We've we've committed to it. Well, you're the one that's talking us out about. No, I'm just saying the rain situation. We need to have some sort of plan for the rain. If it's just like misty rain or a couple that's fine. But if it's like pouring down rain. No, we're not going to. All right. So, it's not going to be rain. We have to have a plan. It never pours down rain in the middle of the day. That's it. I don't know. I feel bad. I didn't get the dog out. Actually, Ken took the dog for a walk before he left my house yesterday morning. So she did get out. But today I should get her out. It was supposed to be a nice day again today. Yeah, yesterday it was it was just I

the neighborhood is always buzzing with people. But I think it was the time that we were out because I think it was there were still kids coming like home from school and that whole so there's a lot of a lot of activity and a lot of other dogs out there too. Yes. And then there's my trusty loyal dog. Yes. We have a couple of comments here about the Seahawks. I mean about the Mariners. Michelle says yes, somebody absolutely needs to get fired. Dang Mariners. I'm not a cow of the Mariners. Seattle has to go 14 and three in the last 17 games to have it to have Texas lose nine of their last 17 Cleveland lose six of their last my goodness. Bobby D is given this some thought. It ain't happening. Oh Cassie has a good idea. Just get a party bus. Oh. Why didn't we think of that? We got to walk. No. How about this? I don't want to I don't want

people to think we're trying to bail on this thing. We're walking. We have committed. We're walking okay here to northern. Okay. Unless it's pouring down right. I don't accept see that you just you say that. Here's what I meant to do when I went out because I've done it a couple of times and the next time I won't be able to do it today or tomorrow probably. But the next time I go out, I'm going to take the route again and make sure of how it looks. I have a concerns about a couple of places where we could be in peril. This was I heard of this was a couple weeks ago. I think I mentioned it or I was talking to two different people and they you know they were very excited about the walk but they also said hey do you are you aware of the like now how is this going to so anyway everything will be fine. Jen says it's 70 with a 9% chance of rain on that day. That sounds perfect. There's a 9% chance that we'll be walking that day. No we'll do it. It'll be good. Anyway and then one other thing I just want to say this a year ago on my memories was the classic

and I may repost it when I caught up with you Quinn Dave cotton and Kelly from upstairs discussing my move from the lines to the lines from the Vikings and then you guys were being awful about it. Was it like a press conference video. I caught you guys trash talking me. Oh it says the guys taught crap about Molly and the lion. Yeah. We used to do our funny little bits. Now you get the whole show on on YouTube. Oh here's another thing. If there has been something if you've been watching on on YouTube or maybe just listening if there's been a moment that you thought oh that that was pretty good. Those guys were very good in that moment. Let us know because we're trying to refresh our memories on things because they're going to put together a little promo for us, a little commercial for us and they need a clip and I was trying to think what we

just some little moment and obviously it can't be very long but it could run it could run you know during a jeopardy or real fortune or doing Sunday night football or during Saturday night. Live all the programs. Okay and it's going to be this angle. This is the promo. This is going to be like they need to yeah they need the video for it. This is a thing about that. Well they're going to get a lot of play too. Yeah. On the screen behind us. All right. All right. Help us produce things people. Oh you bet. We need David Molly umbrellas. Oh that's the next new merch product. Just for the rain season. Anyway let's see we will get to the news of the day including AI taking over the world now. What if you we're going to go on a first date. Now you get AI to do some research

on them. Give you some red flags and some green flags kind of like our friends at Pinnacle do. Yeah they will they can kind of run the background check of people. This is more catered to the dating world I guess. Right. There's also hear me out ice cream pizza. Something or nothing. I have to hear more about it. Okay you will. Okay. Coming up. And then I guess this was on the today show yesterday but the new for the Girl Scout cookies coming up in the next season. They have one for dogs. Oh yeah. And it's like a it's a dog treat and I guess on the today show yesterday. Al rooker eight one of them. Dog treat. But it's but it's meant for dogs. Yeah it's been for dogs. But he said it was pretty good. Al. Well actually didn't say it's pretty I think he said it wasn't bad. Little chocky. I had to order special pill pockets for the dog because she's getting too smart. She takes her allergy pills every day. So I shove it in a treat but unless here's the thing you have

to have the treat with the pill in it and then another treat waiting so that you know if you have more food they'll gulp that one down without even thinking. Right. If she has time to take it over and go on her mat and think about it forget it that. Oh sure find out. Yeah so I have to like oh look hurry up swallow that one before this one comes. Anyway she's on to me and so I had to like actually buy this. And this is every day like every day a pill and a half for eternity. It's because she's got allergies. I don't know if maybe in the winter we can stop it. I think it's maybe seasonal but it's why she had that ear thing because she scratched her ear so hard. But she got her hematoma thing or whatever they call it. Anyway yeah so I had to buy those little speaking of treats. It's funny how dogs learn. Oh yeah. They're so smart. My brother's dog gets raw meat and cottage cheese as her meal and she won't eat that until she finds out what she's getting off

of his plate. She will forego she literally will she sniffed my dog would look at that and be like are you kidding me this is the greatest day of my life. Well she waited and waited and he put it down and she was like because we were having chicken and she's like well and I'll wait till you're finished and I'm not getting all right now I'll go and look at my own food. Maui has the I have the two different dog bones but I've run out of the good ones so now it's just those chalky ones that you get in a box. So those are always in the house but then the other ones are like the there's like 20 in a pack it's Costco and she loves those. Well and I usually try to give her one of those. Well she will just sort of sniff and then just turn her head away like she rejects it and it's like yes. So then I have to leave it just you know at some point I know she'll want it but I think that's her way of telling me she's very disappointed in me. I don't I don't I can't

just hang on it would be a couple more days and then we'll get the good bones back in the house. Yeah. They his dog is an Aussie doodle and she's so smart. She's got the long eyelashes and stuff and she she's very codependent with my brother we joke because he was gone for an hour and a half the other day and she had to stay with me and my mom at the house. She was just looking around she was devastated. I said this is not healthy. This is not healthy but she's she's she's very smart and she she will wait for she'll wait for her preferred food. Yes that's what they do. So we'll get to the news of the day and then as Molly said she's got four football questions inside the showdown. If you want to play shortly after 8 o'clock, Kali will be in with us today and we'll have a live pig as we get ready for the Spokane Interstate Fair. There's 75th anniversary of the Spokane Interstate Fair and it's it'll be for sensory day and it's pancake the pig a real big we'll be coming into the studio. That's it's going to be fantastic. For you talk

about viewing for for that that's going to call all your friends tell all you got to you got to watch this. What who knows what can happen. So we'll get to that and more as we continue this is the David Molly show. No matter what you can imagine no matter what you can possibly dream no matter what your heart desires. Jewelry Design Center your jeweler for life.

Football showdown Molly claims that she has four football questions that are part of the showdown trivia today. Oh it's very exciting and one of them is going to be a five dollar question. Okay even though it's football. Yeah I think it's a little obscure but I might be wrong maybe both of you are going to go ha ha ha we knew that you're dumb. Pay us. We need someone to play. Now Larissa had checked in and she wanted her husband to play but she was trying to coordinate with him right to call it and I'm watching I'm watching to see if the phone rings. And also well well we were while we were away we ate food. Hey that Rosie's plays downtown. We're getting a thumbs up fuziastic thumbs up. I am a winner. Uber guy was right out there and he was about to take a picture to say I left it here he handed to me he was in his pajamas basically. Oh that's the way of the world. He looked like he had just rolled out of bed. Fine with me. And then uh T. How much did you

how much was it all? Well a little bit more than if we had gone to the restaurant. But the actually the price is more bad for what we got. And then did you have to pay a delivery fee in a tip and like all the stuff they start stacking on there. There's a delivery fee a service fee and then the tip. And it was as I said they had the things thank you you're great you're awesome. You're the best. What did you what are you? I was fine with great. Okay you're great. I wasn't good. I was great. Okay but I'm not going to be awesome. Okay who do we have? Okay. Uh who is this? Good morning Brian. Hey Brian. Brian. Hello. Brian our number one listener and I know he is a very big football fan. Yes he is. Yeah well we'll see. Turn down YouTube things. The way. Look at this this ketchup. I don't know this is not from this delivery but something else that was brought. I think this could have been from when Natasha brought us breakfast or something.

Okay. Yeah. I think we missed Larissa's husband. Sorry Larissa. Yeah maybe uh maybe tomorrow. You know it is football week so maybe you have more football questions. Maybe you do. Okay. Uh Brian you're going to be watching the Seahawks game tonight or are you mostly concerned about the game tomorrow night? Oh I was checking out the games tonight but yeah tomorrow night my Rams are playing so that's really uh Brian's a Rams fan. Mm-hmm. And uh of course the Seahawks after beating the Rams three times last year. Okay Dave now let's not rile out our friends. Got to go to the Super Bowl while the Rams course uh you know they are they got shipped off to Australia. D&D Steven's also a big Rams fan. Yeah well I'm truth be told I'm scared to death of the Rams this year. This is they are loading up they're going all in and I have their defense on my fantasy league. See?

The guys are looking good too so we're gonna have some good teams there we hope. Yeah. Outcomes. Right. Okay. All right so Molly's got four football questions. She also has a show question and there's a five dollar question that is one of the football questions. It is. Now it's Brian on the phone and it's making me nervous. I don't know. I met as big a football fan or knowledge base of Dave so let's see what happens. All right I'm going to leave the studio. Molly has the questions. Good luck Brian. Let's do you as well Dave. Okay Brian do you put any do you uh bet on the teams like do you go out and put futures bets or anything? No. I do not I do not I am going to your church this morning though. You are how come senior day? Oh let's see you day and dad. I'm gonna go check it out. All those things. I was there yesterday and I thought I wasn't gonna be able to go to David and I shouldn't. So I think I think we I think I should find

other things to do with my time. All right Brian are you ready to throw down on the showdown? Let's throw it down. Special Molly. All right here we go. What is the real name of the rock star prince? It's this first. Oh gosh. Okay. Which NFL division has the most super balls shared among the teams? In the cell. I'll say the angst. Okay. Which sign of the zodiac is represented by a man pouring water from a jar? In the NFL how many time outs does each team get per half? Three. What weather phenomenon swept Dorothy Gale to the land of Oz? tornado. What is the top layer of the earth called?

Chris. How long is an NFL is an NFL play clock? Well 25 seconds. What is what city does Spider-Man primarily protect? New York City. Which NFL team plays an stadium? This is your five dollar question. Which NFL team plays an stadium nickname the death star? I'm going to say the Arizona Cardinals. All right. And from today's show Molly watched two documentaries yesterday. Name one of them. Oh, I can do the full. Have you seen it? No. I loved it. I loved it. And I'm going to say Prince Edward something. I can't remember what I mean. Fair enough. Dave's back. And I just focused a lot on, yes.

Now I'm worried that, well, we'll see what Dave answers and then we'll see. I took my trivia straight off of an NFL trivia site. So it should be accurate. Did he win five dollars? No. How did he do with the football questions in general? Uh, he did all right. And did he get the show question? Yes. Okay. Oh boy. I got a workout for me. Yes. All right. My turn to play. Here we go. What is the real first name of Rockstar Prince? Prince Rogers Nelson. So his first name is Prince. Uh, yeah. That's what you're saying. Which NFL division has the most super balls shared among the teams? I basically which division has gone to Super Bowl. Like Super Bowl wins or been to the Super Bowl? Most Super Bowls. When they all have to go to the Super Bowl. Super Bowls. I will say the NFC East.

Which sign of the zodiac is represented by a man pouring water from a jar? She's. I don't know that. All right. In the NFL, how many timeouts does each team get per half? Three. What weather phenomenon swept Dorothy Gale to the land of Oz? A tornado. A twister. What is the top layer of the Earth cold? The crust. How long is an NFL play clock? Uh, play clock is 30 seconds. All right. What city does Spider-Man primarily protect? Uh, Chicago. Which NFL team plays in the stadium? He's a five dollar question. Okay. Which NFL team plays in the stadium nicknamed the Death Star? The Raiders. Yeah. Boom. Yeah. Got it.

And from today's show, Molly watched two documentaries last night. Oh, no. Name one of them. Uh, one of them was the toxic romance. Toxic date. Toxic. Oh, toxic. The other one. The other one was. Oh, do you have to get them both to win? No, it's a day one of them. Oh, I haven't even got one of them. Well, you didn't quite get it right, but it closed enough. Toxic romance, wasn't it? Toxic love story. Love's love story. But the other one was pity the fool. Oh, yes. That's right. Brian got that one. All right. I got it. That point for day and that point. Oh, boy. Now let me ask you something because you guys have two different answers. Uh, and on the on the play clock. Hmm. I had 40 seconds. That's what it said. But he said 25 and you said 30. So we need clarification on that one.

It might be 40. All right. So let's see. I think he's right. No, he said he said 25. I said 40. Oh, it's not. I think it is 40. Okay. Then, uh, I'm pretty sure now that I think about it. That's it. Yeah. All right. Then, but I got the $5 one. And you know why they call the the Rader one the Death Star because it kind of looks like that from an aerial shot. It's like, oh, it's just in fact, when they were building it, that got the name as they were building it. The Brian, I thought you were going to know that. Uh, I know. I believe it is. Dave wins seven to four. Okay. Let's go through them though. Okay. Because I survived. First two, uh, Prince is Prince's real first name. Is actually it's the NFC East. Yep. Very good. Uh, queries. Oh, sorry. What did you think I was saying?

Well, I was thinking we were talking about the like confidence method. I didn't think division. Oh, like the, oh, you show you said the NFC or he said, well, I said division, but yeah, fine. It's five. It's seven to five. I gave you an extra one. Yeah. See the NFC East. They have they have the Cowboys, Giants, Redskins and Eagles. So you have those, those, you had all those up. That would do you have known it if I had said it that way. Probably not. Okay. Then it's still seven to four. Uh, it's the Aquarius is the man pouring the water. Okay. Um, three very good three timeouts. You both got tornado. You both got crust. And then neither of you got the play clock. I have it at 40. I think you're I think it is 40. It is 40. Okay. All right. Very good. Uh, and then it's New York that he protects not Chicago Spider-Man. Oh, and Brian got that. I think my, I think my scoring is right. And then Dave got the Las Vegas Raiders for the Death Star. And then you both got

the show question. Oh, I got half of it. Yeah. Are part of half. Did he get him for? No, I think that's a beautiful. He got actually got five. One, two, three, four, five. Six, seven, five, it's five to seven. Okay. Seven to five. A little better. Well, Brian, thank you for playing. Congratulations from our friends at New America Credit Union proud sponsor of Dave's cash show. The American Credit Union, they are the credit union that invented football. Yeah, it's true. Not a lot of people know this, but, um, before football was ever invented. It was a New America Credit Union. They said, you know what? We need a new sport. How about we put on some leather helmets and have a pig skin and have guys just go crazy. Kind of like rugby, but then you can also throw it over people's heads and you can run and push and tackle. And let's have 11 on each team because 11 was the standard size of the normal uh, New America Credit Union branch because they have the people in front and they have the people in the back. And so they, well, 11 is a perfect number. So let's have football teams have 11 members much like New

America Credit Union. All goes back to New America, New America Credit Union. So if you're a C Hawk fan, because they won the Super Bowl last year and they played tonight, thank New America Credit Union. Always remember, New America Credit Union. If they weren't there, there would be no football. And five three cups of Dutch love from Spokane Strassebrost. Do you notice how many times you mentioned C Hawks and the Super Bowl and the winning and the. You know what it is. No, you know what it is. All right, Brian. Well, um, thanks for playing. I can send you a picture if you'd like and um, we're all fine. Okay, we're good to go. Did you guys think you're going to be at the fair Friday? Yeah, at some point we are. Yes, we're, we're uh, figuring that out. Yeah, but it's not sure we're going to go to the speakeasy. Mm hmm. Oh yeah, I'll be working there for years in the afternoon. You're working at the fair? Well, with the scope is doing part of some thing there that I'll be part of. Okay. With the shares department. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm there from two to six.

To just say, oh, we'll probably see you if you're there on Friday from two to six. I think the speakeasy doesn't look so good. Yeah. Yeah. All right, cool. Thanks, Brian. Well, so it's one day. Yep. Well done. All right. And good luck to your guys tomorrow. Thank you. Good luck to our defense. Go see us tonight. You're getting very excited about the defense. Well, it's very important. All right. Uh, there goes Brian. Next time we play the showdown, we'll be tomorrow. Now tomorrow is the day after the first game and there will be an Australian football game. Well, it'll be the Rams in the 49ers. Mm hmm. So I don't know if there's more football questions. I don't know. I'm just going to do more football questions. I can do more football questions. I like football questions. Sure. Why not? And we do have to clear this up. Yes. D&D Steve cleverly points out. He's he's another Rams fan. We have a lot of Rams families to the show. The Las Vegas. Oh, the Rams did beat the Seahawks last year. Oh, oh, you're still there. Yeah.

All right. See, Brian. Yeah, they had they had some very tough battles. They split in the regular season and then the Seahawks won the crazy game in the in the playoffs. Okay. All right. Everything's fine. Everybody knows what happened in the football world. Yeah, I'm very excited about the football situation in April. I think that I made a goods trade yesterday. Not trade waiver. Would I do? You picked somebody up on the waiver wire. Yeah. There was a Buffalo Bill guy who had a crappy rating with dumped him. Go right at him. So we only have one guy playing tonight. And that's Jackson Smith. How do you say his name? In Jigma. In Jigba. He's a superstar. Is he? He's a white receiver from the Ohio State. Oh. And and then you have a defense tomorrow as a brief. We've learned. And tomorrow I also have what is a D slash S teaming? That's defense special

teams. Oh, yes, I have that. But I don't have any other Rams. Do you have any 49ers? No. And who did you pick to win that game? Because you made your picks already, right? Yes. That is I picked the dolphins. Oh, no, no, no, sorry. I was looking at the Raiders. I picked the Rams at home. To get Seahawks tonight in the Rams tomorrow. Okay. Yeah. Just like that's like that's pro pro pro pro pro prognostication. And then for my a liminator survivor league, it's the Lions. I just need the Lions to get through this first week. Right. And then you can never pick them again. Right. That's okay. And you picked I haven't locked it in yet. But I'm leaning toward the chargers. Got it. Because they play the cardinals. And the cardinals technically are I think they I think they can beat some high school teams like if they. That's not very nice. Some of the smaller places around. Here's the other

thing you guys. This is active for a till tomorrow. Checking. We have a lot of entries, a lot of brand new people. If you want some fair tickets, oh, yes, text us up. Five, oh nine, four, four, eight, three, two, three, seven. Just text the word fair. And I made it easier this time. You can actually some people are even saying, what do we do for fair tickets? And it still gets in there as long as you get something back that says you're in, then you're in. And then tomorrow we'll do a random drawing like towards the end of the show. We will. And then you'll get a notification that you've won the tickets. And then we'll put him at will call for you the fair. Pairs the tickets. So four of them. The 10 day run of the fair will start on Friday. We will have a guest who will be at the fair. I believe all of the days, right? We have it's for sensory day. Oh, sensory day only. Okay. But we have a real pig coming into the studio. Yeah, that'll be great. And you get to see it right right here on YouTube. Hey, one other thing we got to mention this.

Jason just texted in. Jason hadn't texted since July or since June 11th. But today he says, good morning, David Molly, texting you right now from Dulan Ireland. Dulan. That's pretty good. Yeah. We got somebody listening in Ireland today. That's nice, Jason. I wonder if he's listening on the app or if he's watching YouTube. You can watch YouTube all over the world too. That's true. Ken. We're everywhere. Can't stop us. I want to eat more of my food. Okay. No, we have to stay on. Yeah, we what was it? Rosie's. Oh, it's incredibly good. Very, very good. Yes, here's what we're going to do. We're going to go to break and then we'll come back and Kali will be with us. Yeah. Yep. And so we when when we come back, she'll be on. We're not going to come on and then have her walk in. We'll wait until she's here. Yes. And then that'll give us time to finish breakfast. Okay. All right. Back after a break, this is the David Molly Show from the New America studio.

We now return to the David Molly Show. Yeah. Hey, welcome back, everybody. David Molly Show continues and look who's here at our friend Kali. Good morning. Yay. How are you guys? Yeah. But everything's back to back to normal schedule now for a while except for Sam. Yeah. Yeah. I'll pray to you guys use all your vacation time right around here. Huh? Yeah. Not so much in the summer. Yeah. Well, one thing that's funny. We've talked about it is our kids are going to the same school, right? So high college. So then that kind of happens for us at the same time. So both of us went to Phoenix and dropped the kids off. Separate kids, separate families. Yeah. Um, and so yeah. And then like, yeah, there's just windows where you can't take it, you know, mm-hmm. Sure. So yeah. I guess I don't know. I'm just trying to think I'm looking off. I'm looking like sometimes the answer is on the ceiling. If you look up, you'll find out what's up. My friends are on the Alaskan cruise right now. Oh, yeah. Is it the same boat? The Norwegian boat? I went on. Okay. Princess one. Have they been enjoying it?

I don't have in talk to them. I just knew they were taking off. Oh, no. I'm going everybody's doing that Alaskan cruise. I don't know what the weather's like up there, but I thought I'm not in Hawaii. Oh, yeah. There's more folks. This is second hurricane to Hawaii. Yeah. And it's been a lot. I think the Kauai had like no power for anybody. Yeah. And then 300 people were at shelters as well for a shelter. No, I would, I don't know. Well, tears, plural, I guess I'll say. I'm like here in beautiful inland northwest. Oh, it's gorgeous right now. Yeah. Yes, sure. Yes, the afternoon was fantastic. Yeah. And just I mean, I was funny when I came back from Phoenix on Monday night, it was raining. And I'm like, oh, I forgot it's almost fall. Yeah. Like down in Phoenix, it's still over a hundred degrees in sunny and blue sky. I'm like, oh, no, this is kind of a cozy transition weather. But yeah, 70s today and sunny. So let me ask you this because we don't want to get too footbally here. Okay. But does the does today mean anything to you? It's opening night and the sea hawks are playing. Yes. Oh,

does it does not. Oh, it's kind of fun when I think like, oh, like I know like our neighbors were good friends, they'll probably be watching the game. So like if we ended up going over there or something. But like am I scheduled to watch it at 520 tonight? No. And I mean, I think it's cool. Like we had big coverage this morning on the morning show. We have Austin gets our sports director there talking about the game ahead and the season ahead. It's on our channel. Yeah. So, I mean, that is huge viewership. The first of three, I believe they have two Sunday night games this season. Yeah. Wait. Oh, I know. I think leads. I have a fantasy league, a pick them in a survivor league. So you are invested all the way. Wow. And tell everybody your world famous quote about fantasy football. Um, even if you win, you're still a loser. Yes.

I disagree with that, but that was hilarious when you said you're going to be full credit for that. Well, it's very funny. And there's a trend now too, where if you lose the fantasy, your fantasy football league, you have to like do a dare fire league. That's kind of something. Something's to do that. Isn't that how Sam ended up? Isn't that how his friend ended up with the reversal of fortune? Something or other with like the. Oh, it might have been. They had to do the Costco challenge where you eat every food that they have at the food court grows. And it was like in the middle of winter and his friend did it, but then lost it all over the. Reverse of fortune. Out on the ice. Yeah. That stayed their all winter. Gross. I thought it was something. I think I think you're right. Yeah. Um, yeah. My son's fantasy league, Gloucester, the boy who lost how to do the milk mile where you chucked a gallon of milk and then run a mile. Oh, God. Yeah. Well, did that end up in an exact way how you got it ended. Yeah. So either you win. Right. Yeah.

And your lose are still or you lose and you lose. Yeah. So when Sam took his son down to, um, school, they went golfing, they went to all these things. What are you and your daughter doing? We had so much fun. Oh, good. It was a great time because we're just chatty. Yeah. Like for both women who have millions of things to say. But it was so funny because she got, like she shopped for everything like all decor and everything in her room. So we shopped for two days. Oh, yes. With meals and good deal for her. Yeah. Well, she paid for everything. Oh, yeah. And she's a saver. And so like last year, it took two days, but it would be like, she's like contemplating on this five dollar frame at Walmart. And I'm like, okay, we're not doing that. Like we're making big purchases. We're going. So like we're at home depot and there's a rug and it's $200. And I'm like, you like it? Let's go. We're doing it. I just like picked it up, put it on my

shoulder and just like started walking. Um, and she's like, all right. Well, here's my debit card. I can't watch. I'm like, uh, good for her boy. You don't know, my girl. So does she decorate each time she goes? Well, last year, I guess like she shared a room with somebody. So they shared a lot of stuff this year. She bought like new stuff. And I don't know if you keep that, right? Yeah. Yeah. And that's the thing. I'm like, this is good stuff to purchase. It's like, you know, like, yeah, you're a little adult now. And you can afford. You worked all summer. Like this, you can afford this rug. Where did she work? Oh, she works at twigs. Oh, it twigs. Oh, I didn't want to. No, sorry, Tricks. Yep. And I say I'm like, you live and eat for free at my house. So, yeah, save your money. Work, save your money. And then when you go to Phoenix, that's on you. Oh, yeah. But like I said, we went to some good eateries and I bought dinner and stuff like that. But we had a conversation on going down because gas. I'm like, this is your car. You decided to

drive it here. You know? So anyway, we ended up splitting that 50, 50. I'm like, it's fine. I guess. See, and the difference with my mom is that she tries to pay for every single thing. And I'm like, Mom, no, I can get, nope, I have, Bobby, I have it. I have it. And she will argue with me that she has to pay for everything. And I have to like draw the line and say, no, I'm treating. Yeah. I don't ever remember her ever saying the words, you wanted it, you had to buy it. Oh my gosh. That's so funny. I can't tell how, I mean, if she could do that, that is awesome. But I, I feel like I always tell my kids, they always want something or like, this is their whole life. Like kids always want something, want, want, want. And then when you say, okay, if you really want it, like, you should pay for it. Suddenly, they don't want it. Right. Right. Suddenly, they're like, you know, less, less glamorous. I learned that it's silverwood. You put $40 on their little bracelet. They come back with $38 left. They want the change. If I was paying,

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do. And she knows that. She knows that. She, she, she just, she can't stand. She always feels like she should pay for everything. She will let me treat her once in a while. Of course she will. But she, her instinct is always like, you don't need to learn less than here. I'm just paying. Yeah. Well, and as an adult, like, I think it's such a treat to be able to pay for my parents. Like, and that's what you want to do for your mom. Like, look what you did for me my whole life. Like what an honor to be able to buy you dinner or take you out. So it's, we've probably talked about it here. Like, it's, it's, you know, you got to teach your kids how to take care of their money and manage their money. But then it's also like a gift to be able to do it because you want to. And you have to be able to receive it as well. Like, this is what this person wants to give to me and treat me. And I will say, yeah, I will accept. Yes. Well, I think I was always pretty good with my money. So I think that because I was responsible and she always took care of us. And I just kind of watched. Sure. So there was, but, but I do know that when you have a kid who's taking and taking and taking

then it's like, okay, we're done. Yeah. And then expectation. Like, yeah, they have an expectation that you're going to pay for it. And it's like, no, that's different than I'm paying for it. And you're thankful because you know, I don't have to. Right. Yeah. So anyway, we would shop in for two days. I earned her curtains. She has like this bedskirt. I was like under there pinning her bedskirt to her bed. And I'm like, okay, when I drop off her brother, it's going to take 30 minutes. And he's going to wonder why we were even there that long. We're going to like have to convince him, like, no, like you should buy some sheets. Like that mattress is used every year by a different person. I want a protector. Yeah. And what's his story for next year? Does he have a, he's only a junior right now. But is he, does he, does he have an idea of like what, where he may end up? No, he is thinking about college though. And then this year he said, my goal is to get a 4.0. And we were like so proud. We're like, oh my gosh. Kiko has a goal. Like he hasn't even, he hasn't

done it. He just said that's his goal. And we were so proud that he has a goal. Did he verbalize it? Yes. So now did they pay for their own college? Or do you guys take care of that? So we saved some money for them that they got. And then my daughter is saving that. Like she invested it back in. And then we're cash rolling her through college. But she has a contract sign. Like we have a contract that says, once she has a job for six months, she's going to start making payments back to us. To you. Yeah. Rather than student loans. Yeah. So we're loaning it. We're loaning it. That's genius. Yeah. As why pay the interest like why? And if you can, if you can, like I, why not? Yeah. Because yeah, that's, that's, that keeps it all in the family. And if something God forbid happens and she is behind, you know, you can say, okay. And you treat schools so much differently if you think it's your money. If you think, if you have an idea of how much it costs and what you're paying or what you're going to end up paying back. So.

So how does it work at at GCU? Do they have, is there like a food plan or are they on their own for all meals or how does that? They have a food plan. I think it's required at least your freshman year. It's more expensive. And then like once you're like in an quote unquote, an apartment on campus, you have a kitchen. Okay. Oh, that's good. So they can end it. That's, she's in an apartment this year. Yeah. And they're basically glorified dorms. Like they're still the school owns. You have to move out in the summer. Like it's, you know, unless you're staying for the summer. And, but yeah, they're big. It's like a four bedroom, two bathroom, and then like a little common area. Do you know what I found out about at Contagga, which is so cool. I was thinking about kids, students who are eating and all of that. So if you have an event at Contagga and, you know, the food is always left over because we're having our event there. And so we said what will happen to the food? And they said, well, we have a program. People can sign up. And at nine

o'clock or nine thirty on the night of the program, anybody who is signed up can come bring a container and take food from our event and take it back to their daughter to their. Yeah. So it can be anybody who, it doesn't even have to be students, but a lot of older students, a lot of people with food and securities. And that it could be anybody really in the community, but they know. And I love that because you don't want to waste that food. And now somebody is going to use it. They started it last year. I can't remember what the program is called, but I think all the catering services should you do in that? That's amazing. It's smart. And if you're a hungry student and it's nine o'clock on Saturday night, you're like, let's get our container. So when I go to your event, then if I go for seconds, I'm taking food from the kids. Yeah. The kids. Yeah, Dave. When is that? You talked about that here? October 10th. Nice. Yeah. It'll be good. But I just love that this is the first time. A lot of times we'll pack it up. But then, you know, it's craziness and stuff. This is just perfect. Yeah. Yeah. But it's the students. I don't know if any other universities do that, but

it's so smart. Yeah. Free food. And speaking of, we talked about that on the show. Did you guys talk about the free stuff? Yeah. That used to be free. That's not anymore. That's how they. And Molly ordered ordered a breakfast this morning. Yeah. And it was like an Uber, each thing. Okay. And then what was it? There was the regular charge. Yeah. Then there's the delivery fee. Yeah. The handling fee. Yeah. Then the tip. Yeah. I mean, I would rather just not know. Like just tell me that I'm praying. This is the price of the food. Yeah. Maybe some people like a breakdown. But I don't want to break down. Well, why am I paying for a handler's fee when I'm paying for the delivery fee? And how is that different? And then the tip goes a percentage of all that together. It's not like just the food is, okay, I'm tipping on the food. Well, no, you're tipping on all the fees that have already rolled in. So it keeps rolling. Right. I thought etiquette was you pay on the cost like before tax. But well, probably should, but I mean, but when you see the bottom line, that's what everybody looks at.

Okay. Well, that's the number. Yeah. That's what I've always done. Now I have to train myself to be like, no, it's actually supposed to be before tax. I don't know what etiquette is. If you have 15 fees, are you paying tax on the fee? No, you're not paying tip on that. Well, they're calculating it that way. And I can't get to my receipt yet because I was going to give you an actual thing. But yeah, the way they calculated it, it was after all these things. Now do you want to do 10, 12, 15, 18, percent or whatever. And then they give you different grades of who, how great you are. You're either okay, great. You get great in. You're the best. Okay. I'm the best. I just gave you business. How do you get graded low? And then the guy showed up in his pajamas. It was awesome. He probably rolled out of bed. He's like, oh, man, ding. He goes over to Rosie's. He walks over here. He's like, how's it going? And then yeah, he makes like 10 bucks. Wow. Yeah. Do those guys, but those guys get hourly pages too? No. I don't know how that works. So with Uber Eats, I believe. And we've gone back and forth about this. I think when you first start with Uber Eats, all you're making

is your tips. Like that's it. And then once you get to a certain place, then you get, okay, you start like those service charges start to go to you or something. There has to be something more in it. Otherwise, if you're just relying on tips, right? When's the last time you did Uber Eats? I don't do Uber. Never. I have a thing with, well, one, you guys know, spending money. Yes. And then too, I like hot hot food. Yeah. This was delivered hot. I will say it was. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know, I'm usually not that hungry to like pay for because if I'm, well, I'll say like this, if I'm hungry, I need to eat now. So like, I don't have the wherewithal to be like, I'm going to order or order Uber Eats and then wait for it to get here and then pay extra for it to get here. I'm like, I just bring leftovers for my house. See, usually I do that. I use, uh, for you do. Well, Ken, Ken makes all these delicious things in Dave and I share and we have all of that and stuff like that. But today, I didn't have any of that. Yeah. And um, somebody, we were talking about stuff and then I'll send I said, I want to have Uber Eats now. See, that's kind of fun though.

We entertained ourselves. We did a segment by the time the segment was over at the food museum. Yeah, see that's kind of awesome. That sounds wonderful. It's not like you can leave before. Oh, right. So you could be so hungry. Yeah. Okay. That's a great idea. It's got us through. Usually we plan better, but today we didn't so. Yeah. Now the back to the football. Uh, the game doesn't affect you guys at all, but it obviously affects Sean and Leslie tonight, right? So they'll do on it. Will they be before and after? Is that how that works? There's a three o'clock newscast and then primetime, which comes after the game. Okay. And there's a four, five and six on our streaming platform. So you can watch it. Oh, are they on that too? I, well, it's between them and then Corey Howard's the other anchor and then. Yeah. So it'd be between probably those three on who's doing what shows? I know Corey usually does the four. So yeah. So we still have you covered when it comes to. Yeah, you do. Oh, yes. Everywhere you look. But the people that really care who don't

care about football care passionately about jeopardy and will a fortune. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. So what do you do about that? Where does jeopardy will a fortune go after our primetime newscast? So they're going to be staying up late. Like it's scheduled for nine, but if the game goes longer, it's going to start even later. Um, but when we used to have the phones in the newsroom, like people like, like, they were ringing, they'd be ringing off the hook. Yes. Where's jeopardy and where's will a fortune? So I said six times on the show this morning, like, telling people when it was going to air saying that it is going to air in full. It just might air later than nine PM. Yeah. And like, yeah, we've had fans. Yeah, jeopardy and we'll, we'll, that's what they call it. We'll, we'll fans. Yeah. Um, like so mad when we have gone sagging games on there. Oh, she's giving me my jeopardy will a fortune. And I think it's good if we can do it on the same day. Sometimes I think they have to like hold it for the next day or something along those lines.

I think they're wack. Right. I think there's been times where it's like we don't get to air both every day. Yeah, it's hard. Or on that day. Yeah. Start getting into sports programming. Yeah. So there's that the GCU apartments are so big. They believe that they won an award for best on campus apartments. Oh, they seem nice. They seem like extra nice. Oh, GST when you were there. I lived like my daughter's room. I shared with one other person. And then it attached to a hallway where you went down to a bathroom that you shared with 30 other people. Oh boy. You know, so like, but this is a very common trend. Like, I think now campuses are lots of schools have like sweets and your own bathroom. Maybe like a sink in there. That's way more common now than just like. Did she have a bathroom in her? She yeah, she and a it's four bedroom two baths. So she and another girl share one bathroom. And then the other two roommates sharing. But each person gets their own bedroom. Yeah. Oh, that's good. Yeah. So did you stay there with her? That was my idea. And she's like, mom, no. And I'm like, what? It's fine.

I'm at this time. I'm paying for this apartment. Yeah. Like, yes, I am. But then we ended up not and in retrospect, I'm like, that's actually a great idea. That would have been not fun. Just staying on the hotel somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that was much more pleasure. And you still reference it as Phoenix. That's what I do. Even though it's technically Glendale, right? It's right next to Glendale, but I think the mailing addresses Phoenix. Oh, okay. I'm pretty sure the mailing addresses Phoenix. But yeah, it looks. It's like right there. Yeah. So all the people that I've known in all Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe Gilbert, like all to me, that, well, it's Phoenix. But no, it's, you know, it's Gilbert. And technically all of those places are bigger than Spokane. Gilbert, Arizona is bigger than Spokane. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Gilbert is at Mesa, Tempe. I think there's seven, but what do you call them? Many cities outside of Phoenix that are not technically Phoenix,

but they are all bigger than Spokane by themselves. Yes. Yeah. It's crazy. And I think, I don't know if it's because it's flat, but it doesn't seem overwhelming and big to me because I'm like, we stay in Scottsdale, but I can see like driving down the road. I can see Sky Harbor Airport. I can see like downtown Phoenix. And like, so to me, it doesn't seem massive because I'm like, at all times, I can see where I'm going, if that makes sense. And the city is laid out fantastic. And their freeway system is maybe the best in America. That's a bull statement. But I believe it's true. We stayed in Scottsdale and we were driving to your campus and like, there were no problems. Yeah. I mean, I feel like wide roads don't they big beautiful ride wide Seattle one of the worst. I think it's the worst. I would see on our 10 Denver is not very good either. No. Portland is very confusing to me. I always get lost going through Portland, but Seattle to me, growing up in LA and I know it's got it on the traffic. There's eight ways to get over the canyon.

There's 10 ways to get to the beach. Like in Seattle, there's one way to get one place because of the water that you're just you can't help it. Yeah. You're just kind of that's kind of what you're stuck with. Because that was going to be my question. Is it worse than LA? It's yeah. I don't think LA, there's a lot of people, but I always I know having choices now with apps and stuff. For us, we had to just think, okay, let's go with Beverly Glen today or let's do Mulholland today or whatever. But you could pick a canyon and then you could also do there's two different freeways. So 405, you got the 101, you got five canyon for canions going over so you could pick a different way to get some place, but we didn't you didn't know until you got there. So it's like, damn it, we should have taken the other canyon, whatever. But now with apps, you could totally know what's free. Very soon, instead of maple, take the North South freeway. That's right. Very soon. Just around the corner. Yeah. Just around the corner. We were on the what they call the North South corridor. Yes. Oh, it's called this North spoke North Spokane corridor. Yes. It's what it's

officially called. But then North South freeway is. Yeah. We drove by there the other day. They've made progress. Oh, and noise. It is. It is finally happening. Going out to the ballpark, you know, the back way there and yeah, we've been, uh, wait, how did you get on? Where'd you get on? No, we didn't get on. We just drove past and so they have the right near the college. It's like the thing. And then you could see they're starting to effort over on this site. It's my husband's little world because we live up north kind of where it starts. And so he gets on it. And for years, he could only go to Francis. Because that's where it is fast. But now he can go to Wellesley. That's where it is. That is progress. He does work at SEC. So eventually. Perfect. One day. One day, we're still here on this earth. He will make it to SEC on the North South freeway. And SEC will probably have its own exit. It'll be an exit, right? Well, the thing goes right near it. Over there parking lot. Yeah, it goes. And it's all or Nate. I was saying, why are they taking so

much time? This is going to be hidden underneath an overpass. Why is it all fancy? Let's get a move on. I've been meaning to ask this and I should know this as a reporter because I've been a rich entry for the last year where it's like, it's got design under it. Yeah. But then it looks hand painted. Yes, looks like someone's painting. That's what I'm saying. Somebody's putting a lot of detail into that. So I honestly, I should go pitch that this morning. I'm not joking. Like, are you sure? Is it being hand painted? You should ask. Yeah. And if so, why don't you put your paintbrush down and keep building? That's terrible. I feel like a lot of people are wonder that. It's not even related. I'm sure it's not even like Apple sorgas. But the average person driving by goes, why does this bridge just end right here? But there's paint jobs happening. Well, and it's and it's it is progress. I mean, it has to end somewhere to continue. I mean,

it's the building it in stretches. Natasha, who works on it, she's one of the engineers who works on it. She's what and she says, it's really you guys. Okay. But Natasha, hear us out. Who's painting and doing all the fancy stuff that's going to be under the overpass? Why? What is that? Well, and then I would add if you're going to do that. Yes. Can't that be done later? I mean, now maybe the artists are available now, but the other engineer people doing stuff or not. I don't know. Part of our world. I love. This is what I love. Like we're just we just ask the questions. Yeah. And then there's actual people who know how to build a bridge. We're like, come on. Get with it. Bridge builders, engineers. Why can't we fly faster? Yeah, come on. What's happening? Why can't we just go? That is the thing we when and not not just with this topic, but any topic. Yeah. We throw something out and there is somebody that knows and they will

text. We just had a guy who's having dinner in Ireland and he's listening to the show. Yeah. Your job is changed. Well, all of our jobs has changed so much with technology. But like, that's crazy to think about like 20 years ago. You guys just had callers. Yeah. Spiratically throughout your shows. And now you wouldn't want to see it though. Like if you're on, you wouldn't want it would be very distracting. Okay. So you guys, we can because we're not doing real news. So we, but if you were just getting comments from, from viewers like, why are we glued today or whatever, then you'd be you'd be like, and the, what do you mean? Why am I wearing blue? Shana anyway, the constellation. They would be hard. No, but that's cool though. Like you guys get to have like a constant conversation with your viewers or listeners or viewers and listeners. Yeah. Yeah. The guy in Ireland was listening on the nonstop local app.

To worldwide. Amazing. World war. What if you can you still look on the map? Or is that I can't know? We can see where people are listening. Like all over the world. Does it tell you what they're doing? Like if it's on the app or on YouTube? If for this, it would be people listening on the app. If anybody else is out of the country right now, please text in or if anybody's in Hawaii, let us know how you're doing. Yeah. It's still early there though. Is it six o'clock there? Is it three hours? I think I might be three right now. Sometimes three and I never know when when we jump ahead, it'll be. I think it's two right now. I don't know. All I know is fallback. At some point, oh no, we're going to fall back. So it'll only be two when we fall back. I believe it's three now. Okay. Let's see. Yeah. Look at there. See, look at that. Kala, you can just look, you can see it. We got a bunch in the Seattle area. What is that? That's Idaho. California. California down here. Oh, there's somebody listening in. Was that combo? What is this?

I don't know where it's somewhere in Mexico. That's cool. Yeah. I don't see the iron one guy though. Maybe he's not listening anymore. Yeah. All right. I got to go guys. Natasha is quickly the artwork architecture features. We're decided on through community engagement efforts. We work with local artists. Okay. We're bunch of jerks. Look at us. Asses. But that's really cool. And I think we should answer that like on TV. You should. And and and therefore that's very separate as I imagine, but still separate from like the DOT trying to build a bridge. Yes. It's like, oh, we don't want to disrupt the bridge builders. Yeah. They aren't can happen at any time. Yes. Approved by Dave Molley and Kala. Hey, do you want to stay for the pig? Well, you're going to come back to the pig. I got to go do something. The pig. I think the pig should be here any minute, right? Yeah. Yeah. We have a real pig coming in. I know. I think this is so awesome. We're going to be at the fair tomorrow, which I know it doesn't start till Friday, but then pancake. The pig is going to be here and at

the fair. Yeah. Coming up. You guys are broadcasting from the fair. No, both are more. Okay. Question for you. Where are we supposed to clear bringing a pig into the building? Oh, good question. And then we clear it with. I don't know. Don't ask me those questions. I told you I have like five bosses and I never know who to ask. There was a time where no animals were allowed. But really? Yeah. We and we couldn't eat at our desk. That was when the building was brand new. It's like when you get new carpet and like your mom doesn't let you walk inside with any kind of shoes or eat anywhere. It's like when I vacuum and I'm like, you're not allowed to walk around and eat. Yeah, it was like that. But now we can eat and bring pigs in. I think I think ask one of our bosses. I know you brought dogs in. Yeah. Dogs come in all the time. Yes. All right. Well, and we were just eating a big giant breakfast in here a little while ago. So pancake. The pig is here. You guys. Oh, it's very exciting. All right. And then we're going to find out how big the pig is and all the logistics. Yeah. This is going to be quite the spectacle. Yes, it is. If you're you can you can see

all this on YouTube, of course. All right. We're back after break. There will be a pig on the set when we return. This is the David Mollie Show from the New America studio. We now return to the David Mollie Show. Hey, welcome back. Winner and all the David Mollie Show continues. And remember when we say we're going to have a pig in the studio. And we say, what's the worst thing that can happen? Well, our dreams have come true. Is she pooping more? Seriously? Oh, my God. This is broke. This is pancake. I don't think they can see. Well, they can kind of see her there. Anyway, you can't see what's happening at the back end of pancake. And they said that, you know, this is it's rare that this would happen. Never happened. Never. Oh, my God. She doesn't even she doesn't even go at the lawn.

Yeah, you gotta get right up to the mic there. She doesn't go at the salon. She lives at the salon. She doesn't live. She lives at the end. Yeah, but she goes there all day long and she does not ever have there's never an accident. But she's here for us and this is beautiful. Maybe she's just nervous. She knows where it is and close to her own. Yeah, yeah. Sweet baby. She is very cute. Now, can we see? Can people see her? Kind of. Yeah, they can see. Yeah, they can. Oh, there, there, there, when you when you're pet her and she her her head pops up. Hi pancake. Yes, she is. There she is. How much is pancake way? I would say like 70 pounds. Oh, that's not bad. Oh, okay. Is she fully grown? No, she well, she could be. They say that she could get to like 150 max, but normally her breed gets like 80 to 100 pounds. And she's only 10 months old. Only 10 months. Wow. She's very sweet and she unpredictable. Yeah, she has done both of her bodily fluids. Both. And she had already done those this morning. But she's she's she's going to be on camera. She's

going to be nervous. Yeah, she didn't get to. And so so the sensory day, she'll be more. Okay. I'm ready. So three day at the fair. You're going to be their Tuesday with her. Yes. Yes, we will be their Tuesday from 11 to 5 p.m. Okay. And there's going to be a lot of stuff going on there this year. It's the biggest one that we've had so far. There's going to be meeting the princesses. The symphony is going to perform twice. There's even going to be a floral sensory tables. Okay. And where will this be at the fair? This is going to be in the little sense. There's like a corner. There in there, the sensory area. But the whole fair that whole section, they're going to be turning the lights down, turning the music off for that for that six hour period of time. Okay. Three for the little kiddos. And if you're not sensory, you're more than welcome to come true.

It's really about allowing. I'm going to get her care exclusivity, you know, everybody being able to be there and seeing a lot of people take for granted simple things like being able to go get your haircut. So going to just the fair as simple as it is for a lot of us, it's not that simple. And so that's where sensory day is a big deal. And why me cutting hair kids with sensory issues and having pancake and you're going to be cutting hair at the same time. Not at the same time. That would be a crazy thing. She won't buy chew. I promise you can. Well, now you promised. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. As many as she wants. She can have unlimited vegetables. Look at her. Just look at her. Oh, yeah. Happy. I won't be cutting hair there that day. But I will have we will have prizes. We're having pages from our coloring book that's coming out soon. I'll have little gift packs for everybody. And there's going to be some. So raffle. Okay. And this is all Tuesday. This is all going to be on Tuesday. Okay. September 15th.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. And that's going to be at the Spokane County Fairgrounds. True. If you could clean Hopkins hair. True. True. She's his personal style. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And when he comes in to see what is he asked for? Like, can I get the he just wants to be cleaned up? Yeah. He just wants to be cleaned up. And I can tell you what he's the nicest human being on the planet. He is a very good person. He is. And he is. I try to like tell me. I'm like, that's Ken Hopkins. He's like the coolest. And he is so famous. And he'll just like. Just shrug me off. But I'm like, don't let him be coy. He knows who he is. And he just laughs. He's always so, so sweet. Yeah. He'll be in tomorrow. Oh, fine. Oh, he comes in every Thursday. You'll have to tell him that I said hello. He would be hilarious about this. Oh, yeah. He didn't know about paying. I haven't seen him since February. I don't think so. Yeah. And his hair is down here. Probably. Yeah. I'm seeing a pun to show. I don't love it. I love it. He looks like Forest Gunbap to the run.

So he's doing anything without Brooke. So now, did you, was there a sensory day last year? There's a sensory day every year. Okay. So now the pig. Right. She was not born yet. She wasn't born yet. Yeah. No. So there's a different pig. And then next year will there be a different pig? Absolutely not. No. She's, she's on till the wheels fall off. Oh, yeah. She's gonna be around for a long time. They say like with proper care, like 25 to 30 years, possibly. Oh, my God. Okay. But I really think that depends on their diet and their surroundings and things like that. She's spoiled rotten. What else does she eat besides a lot of carrots? So she eats popcorn. That's her favorite popcorn is her big thing. Okay. And we figured out you can just put kernels in a paper bag in microwave it and it has zero everything. That's, um, she loves a chunk of romaine lettuce. Like just the thing that I'm starting to think, uh, she eats a lot like I do. She loves, she loves. But I will say when she was a baby, we did catch her under the couch with

a sour strip under the inner inner, inner mouth. It looked like she was sucking on it like a talk, like it was a tongue. And ever since if she hears or sees anybody, her, her vision isn't very good. But when she hears or smells sour candy, you can't get her, you can't get her to go away. Yeah. But otherwise, I'm going to change, I'm going to move the cameras a little bit. Okay. Okay. I want to, I want to see her more. Yeah. That's what I do. Hi. We're going to, uh, uh, resuming. I literally was catching her poop so that it wouldn't fall on the floor. Okay. There we go. That's, that's mom. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. There we go. Can you see? Yeah. There, yeah. There's a good shot right there. Yeah. Oh, there we go. Uh, what if I move? Yeah. You move that out of the way and you can really see her. Mm-hmm. Carous. Carous. She's really sweet. Mm-hmm. There you go. That's a good, that's a good angle right

there. She's eating carrots. Yes. She's very cute. We'll put her on, you know what I'm going to do? Look it. Ready? Oh, there you go. There's, oh, she has treats on the side. Oh, okay. Okay. Well, this is a, this is a first for us having, uh, having a live pig in the studio who has done everything that a pig can do. Uh, eat, uh, eat poop. Yep. Like eat, pray love, eat, pray, eat poop, eat. Yeah. Pretty good. All right. She's comfortable now. Yes. So, and also, you know, we're giving away fair tickets again. You can text us the word fair and we'll put you in the drawing tomorrow. We're going to draw for four pairs of tickets. Uh, and your salon is what? My salon is called Piranha and it is in the valley in the same building as the black diamond. Okay. And I'm right across from the winco.

Oh, yeah. All right. Um, we have several different, um, stylus and stuff in there, but I own Piranha itself and then I work under B. Wells Beauty and then now paying cake the pig is her own brand. So, so yeah. And how did she get the name pancake? So one of my best friends has a little pug named, uh, pumpkin. And when we were chit-chatting names, we started singing about pumpkin pancakes. Oh, and, uh, we also, I also have a bird that I follow online that sings about bacon pancakes. Uh, oh, and I mean, we can't talk about the beward, but pancakes works. And so, and she just seemed to really, it clicked and then pumpkin and pancake and then, and then her cousin, Doggie is named maple. So maple pancakes. It just works. Yeah. I think pancake is cute. It's a good name for her. So what, uh, where does she, like, does she have a doggy door or does she just stay outside mostly? So she's potty-trained and she's an indoor,

she's indoor. So does scratch to go out? Um, or, well, she has potty-trained pads. She's got pads and then we also have a litter box with pine in it. Um, and so she's got plenty of options right now. We're currently looking for a home with space so that she can have more room, um, as I will say, when I got her, it was a surprise for all of us, including myself, but I would never change anything. She's amazing. Um, and so right now we're looking for a space, but she'll still, no matter what we find, she'll still be an indoor pig. Yeah. Yeah. She's definitely not a doggie. Yep. She's an indoor pig for sure. Well, and then what about her parents? Like, when, when was she, like you say, ten months ago she was born, but so I am not sure. So I, at my salon, we have, um, a studio and I rent, um, we've got pause and pose, which is a puppy yoga studio. And so they do yoga with puppies

and for two weeks in January, they had pigs. And I can't say anything nice about the lady that brought them, um, neither can pause and pose. However, um, I'm thankful that we got her because we were able to give her a life that she wasn't going to have beforehand. I think she was probably taken from her parents too early. But when I was with her, she did have kind of an older pig that was kind of there that I think the piglets really kind of viewed as a mom figure for a short period of time. And then when we got her, we had some things that we had to take care of, um, you know, with, uh, different things that happen with animals when they're around other farm animals. And so we had to get that fixed and get her much acclimated to an indoor life. She's wagging her tail now. Yeah, she's excited. She wants to chew on Molly's chair. And that's, that's a sign of happiness, right? Yeah, yeah, she wags her tail. She basically wags her tail unless she's sleeping. She's always very happy.

When she poop, she briefly stops for a second. It gets, yes, and then she's being a went back when she gets that famous pig curl in the in the tail. Yes. That was alarming. Not going to lie. That was unexpected. I like the word you were using. I told you your time. I said, oh, yes. No, no, no, no, no, thank you for that. Yes. We, uh, Melissa did see the beginning. She says, I can't unsee what is happening on you. So that's not happened. And that happened live. Yeah, it did. Oh my god. You're as surprised as we are. Well, this is a great thing for, so again, Tuesday at the fair, you just find the, the sensory area there. And that's where pancake will be. And then there's some princesses there. I mean, there's a little bit of, yeah. So there's a lot of like different things that are going to be happening. They've got free carousel rides for everyone from 11 to three. Um, and that providence is providing that, which is pretty cool. Um, there's also going to be this book in symphony, like I said, and they're going to have, um, actually instruments

on site and like a sensory table for kids to be able to play with those instruments and see how they work. Um, there's also going to be, like I said, the fairy tale princesses. They're going to be on site all day, not just the 11 to five. Okay. And then we also have, oh, listen to you. She's trying to get out. And then we have five senses flower truck. Oh, look at her. That's a great photo there. Yeah. Five senses flower truck is also coming, which is a big surprise. And they're going to be doing a variety of hands-on floral experiences. Uh, and they're, I guess their farmer Jess Jager is going to be coming. Uh, and there's going to be a playground of all kinds of things with the flowers and they get to make things and all kinds of learning about growing and, yeah, we were talking at you yesterday, the director and she was just saying a lot of different things that are for the sensory sensitive folks. So much. Just other types of things to do. Yeah, it's going to be great. Well, pancake, you're very sweet. I think you're sweet. I think you're a

good girl. Thank you so much. You're a good girl. You're pretty girl. You're pretty girl. We're good. Happy Jail. Pretty girl. What about you, dude? What do you do? What do you do? What do you got? You got to care it over there for me? I have, I, you have it. Yeah. Here go. We had breakfast in here earlier. So, uh, yeah, we tried to get rid of any evidence of any kind of relative. Uh, yes. Well, you know, it's, she, I firmly believe she wouldn't taste like a retina. She wouldn't taste very good. She's not. She wouldn't taste very good. No, no, she'd taste like dirt. She'll, she'll be a good pet for a long, long time. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. She, her, I will say I have seen her mohawk go up once though when she was mad. Not mad. I think she was just on guard. Oh, uh, it was meeting her cousin puppy. They're fine. They're great. But yeah, her, it was straight up. And I didn't know how long her mohawk was until I saw that. And tell everyone that the breed again, the, she is what's called a Juliana pig. Juliana. So,

we're a standard farm pigs get to like a thousand pounds. She is going to get to like 80 to 100. But dad and I kind of think it'll be like 150 maybe. It just kind of depends on how she only eats kit, the kibble, I guess is what it's called. And then vegetables. So, and she can have an unlimited amount of vegetables that unlimited unlimited and the popcorn she can have as much popcorn as she wants. Oh, good. So, if you're watching a movie, you can sit with her. Yep. And the sensory kids like to eat popcorn too. So, it works out for everybody. That's right. Mm-hmm. Well, for them to for her. Everybody can see pancake Tuesday. Tuesday, September 15th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. And I'm going to have some photographers there that are going to be taking photos also. Okay. You can obviously take your own photos. But my two gals are, um, my chair. You can't. Currently battling for a spot in the valley for best photographer right now. So, I've got a new doing for me. I like it. Yeah. Yes. I've got story told for

photographers. Competition is good. And Lisa Medrelle, for photography coming through. Yeah, it's going to be awesome. Well, it's a happy pig. I like her. It's a happy baby. Okay. Oh, don't curl. Don't you dare. Nope. Oh, is it happening again? Nope. No, I think she's done. Yeah. Well, yeah. The nervous poops are out as as are we. Yeah. Right. As are we. Yeah. Well, Brook is good. Great to meet you. And I think it's a great thing that you guys are doing this. And it's, I know for for a group of people, this is a very important thing. So, uh, to yeah, it's, it's great. Super good. Thank you for having us so much. You guys too. I apologize to get on behalf of my child. Well, it gives us the story to tell forever, forever, ever, ever. And it's documented on film. Absolutely. Remember, I'll tell the kids, the grandkids. Remember that time pancake on the radio show when she was just 10 month old. Mom used to listen to it when she was a kid. Yeah. Yeah. Just think about that. You're a little kid. You're listening to us. And you're like,

I hope I have a pig that'll poop. I absolutely. Man, if mom could see me now. Sometimes dreams do come true. They do. They do. And Ryan is your brother, right? No, Ryan is my partner, Matt's brother. Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. So basically, Ryan's my friend who sold me my car. Yeah. Yeah. Well, small world world connected. It is totally. I mean, it's a small, small world. Ma'am. Stay in your ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am. All right. Thanks, Brooke. Thank you, Pancake. You did, you did a great job for 80% of the time you were in here. All right. We'll do a break and then we'll come back.
