Day 18 The Natural and Supernatural Origins of the Incarnation

In this episode we continue our discussion of the Third Article of the Apostle Creed focusing on the conception of Christ in the womb of the Virgin Mary and the doctrine of the "Hypostatic Union." While setting forth the truth of the mystery the Catechism of the Council of Trent warns that such a study should not be undertaken with "curious inquisitiveness" but rather only by those that are ready for a "mature consideration." We take a brief look at two articles from the Tertia Pars of the Summa Theologica (IIIa Q. 23 A.4 and Q. 2. A. 6)
