In this episode we commence our study of Article VIII of the Apostles Creed, " I Believe in the Holy Ghost." We read the opening comments concerning tis article of faith in which the CCT explains that the third person of the Holy Trinity has no proper name of His own. For example, the name "Holy Spirit" might be applied to other members of the Holy Trinity as well. Nonetheless, we appropriate these words for lack of a name by which we might name "the procession" by which the Holy Ghost emanates from the Father and the Son. To understand the idea of procession in God better we return to the first part of the Summa Theologica in which St Thomas Aquinas asks the question "Whether there is procession in God?" (S.T. Prima Pars, Question 27. Article 1)
