On this Resurrection Day edition of the Joe Rooz Show, I invite you to open the King James Bible with me for a clear, unapologetic walk through the gospel: the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We start in 1 Corinthians 15 to define the gospel’s three essential parts, trace the necessity of Christ’s blood through Scripture, and show how Psalm 22 prophetically foreshadowed the crucifixion.
We then explore why the burial matters—what Jesus did with our sin, His descent and proclamation to the spirits in prison, and the liberation of Old Testament saints—before rejoicing in Luke 24’s empty tomb and the hope it grants every believer.
Along the way, I urge listeners to anchor their faith in the preserved word of God, reject partial gospels, and consider the only question left: What will you do with the risen Christ?
We close with a pastoral appeal to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ today, reflections on the victory over death in 1 Corinthians 15, and encouragement to stay faithful, be in church, and keep looking up—because He is risen, and that changes everything.
