Hey everybody welcome to the Daniel Davis Intel brief where we give you the
best of what we learned this week and the of most updated information that you
have and in fact one of the things you're seeing on the screen right there is
one of those and that is an Iranian strike a new one this is not something old
from our base in Bakrane. This is an important to point because you can see a
little white dot if you're looking real close in the middle of the screen then
it dives in and bam this is on our base don't forget that is just a small
slow moving drone that didn't get hit with anything this really shows the
the possibility of our our air defense I mean after what this is day I guess
what if today this is the day 15 of the war and here you see that on a
base it's already been hit and we haven't been able to upgrade or update our
our air defenses this is not an Iranian ballistic missile this is not a
hypersonic this is a slow moving lawn more kind of what it sounds like it's
easy to see it's very slow you can watch it easily with the naked eye and then
you see it just go straight into the target nothing ever coming up it's not
like we missed it it just didn't get hit now if this is happening here at our
our fifth fifth fleet naval headquarters in the Middle East what do you think
is happening elsewhere especially it's some of the minor places remember at
least the last update I had 17 different American bases and specific sites
throughout the Middle East have been struck not attacked but physically struck
meaning we didn't knock them down so all this stuff we keep hearing in the
mainstream media and a lot of our senior leaders congress people talking heads
on TV military folks politicians we're intercepted nearly everything then
explain that to me explain 17 hit and this one evidence we see here this
stuff just doesn't add up folks and it's it's of course we're showing you all
this stuff and so none of this is surprising to any of our folks here nobody
who watches our show surprised in the least by this we were telling you what was
going to happen before it happened and those all kinds of physical evidence but
we're still dealing with this collective unwillingness to acknowledge what our
I see right in front of us of course there's all the things in the Gulf that are
burning our allies are having the same results 10 different nations are our
allied nations have been struck in the process and we can't stop those either
and they're getting really upset about it more on that in a minute I want to
talk about something that happened last night because it's also very
important another issue with what your eyes see and what the words they're
coming out of the mouth of some of our leaders and that was we did a we did a
breaking new story last night on Carg Island here you'll pop that up there just
yeah let's hold off on that one for just a second I want to talk a little bit
about what what the claim was so I was actually out walking the dog last night
after we finished and I thought I was gonna finally have a just a peaceful
relaxing evening and then I said an alert on my phone the president Trump just
nine minutes before that when the alert came on posted a version of this
this is what the White House scared people to full screen up this is what the
White House ended up putting up there was it moments ago at my direction the
United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids
in the history of the Middle East and totally obliterated every military
target in Iran's crown jewel Carg Island Iran has no ability to defend anything
that we want to attack there is nothing they can do about it now one almost
wonders just on that point alone was he talking about our facilities at Bahrain
that there we can't do anything to stop it but I digress but let's not take a
look this is this is this footage now that was shown by sent comm about this
most amazing and incredible obliteration of every military site on Carg Island
that we have ever seen this is it so I mean I'm looking at this and I'm like
there's got to be more I must be missing something because this looks like a
field and a bunch of things exploding in it and and around the explosion you
don't see anything now here's okay here's a couple of buildings on an air
field I'm actually going to show you that in just a second and okay and there's
a strike now on the airfield itself okay that's got military importance but
there are two shots folks there's two shots and then here we go back and we see
a bunch of missiles falling to what looks like an empty field I don't know maybe
there's a bunker underneath there perhaps there's a missile battery I don't
know because we can't see anything it looks like a bunch of shrubbery a field
out in the middle of nowhere and some bombs blown up but that's it and let me
just tell you that airfield that's something that is so easy to fix that's
common number one that's not anything that's very difficult to fix but then
you have the issue that this is Carg Island right here this is in by the way
let me just give you some perspective here here's Iran here's the Persian
Gulf here's the Gulf of Oman the straight of Hormuz and then this little dot
you can see here and we'll zoom in on this this is a really important item this
is no kid this is no joke of very important geographic location because of
all these oil facilities 90% of the oil facilities for Iran and where their
exports go through come from here so it is a legit big issue this is that
airfield that I just showed you right here and these are some of the buildings
that look like that were struck so whatever these were it looks like that's
what they hit and there's a couple of shots here here's the thing though when
was the last time you heard anything about the Iranian Air Force you you hear
that this this mighty thing and now then because we've taken out the runway
then what the airplanes that aren't flying are gonna fly either so I'm like
what is the utility of this I have no idea I don't think I doubt that it's
even been used since the war started they don't have an Air Force and they're
certainly not using it to launch any kind of strikes that that was going to
help and even so if you know anything at all about wartime and especially
hitting airstrips there most nations especially if they're using the airstrips
have have battalions of people and specific squadrons of workers and crew
that are specifically designed to repair those things and you can get that
repaired in a matter of hours and there was two strikes it's not like they
obliterated the thing at least what they showed there maybe there was more but
again I'm not sure what the point was but then you look and you see all these
other targets all these other houses buildings whatever they said that there
was lots of military sites I didn't see any evidence and at least nothing they
were they showed you didn't see anything in fact what you saw and I don't know
the exact location but that this is very similar this kind of looks like what
we saw in that that like something in this area here with a lot of the
shrubbery you may remember there was a road in the background it could have
been something around here I I don't know for sure it's not been properly
geolocated it's probably another place as it looks similar but this is
categorically what it was you saw a shrubbery kind of out in the middle of
nowhere I don't know maybe there was a missile battery there but in any case when
President Trump says this is the most amazing and extraordinary military
strike in the history of the in the history of the Middle East you got to
say what are you talking about now listen for for American audience that
doesn't look at that and doesn't look at what I'm showing you right here they
may say okay great it was another big one what is that what is that
translated into it doesn't translate into anything here and that's if you're
if people just look at the headline that President Trump said that they
think they can imagine some of these really dramatic ones that Gary has shown
the past like this you know Tehran and flames or or some of these tankers that
were just just just this almost like a destruction movie a disaster movie set
where it's just rolling up probably people to imagine that and they're
thinking that car guy and whatever that is because I doubt many people are
gonna go look they're thinking I guess there's probably something like that
going and yet as you still see here on the screen it's just kind of shrubbery I
don't know I guess we blew up just shrubs that may have made some of the the
local wildlife unhappy I don't know but there's nothing that substance is
happened with it so going back to that and Gary don't show this because I
don't have all of it but in President Trump's true social he said and he
warned Iran if if you don't do what I say we'll come back and hit the oil too
and and what I say is everybody has to lay down their arms in the IRGC and
surrender so you would imagine okay well if you're issuing basically a call to
surrender which is a repeat of what he said earlier in the week about requiring
unconditional surrender then you're thinking man it must be really bad but
then you see it wasn't so if you're the IRGC you hear that warning and you see
these little pinpricks out in the middle to know where striking something you're
not even using are you gonna lay down your arms and surrender I mean I'm
thinking I wouldn't I don't know maybe that's just me though but you see a
disconnect here between what President Trump is saying what is happening on
the ground and of course we're gonna see a lot more of that and let's actually
go to one of the President Trump's allies in Congress who last night on Fox
News was asked about the struck it car now in here he's gonna explain a little
bit about what why they struck car but then he's also gonna go a little bit
further it's true that Iran is essentially had a radical Islamic theocracy
which has been holding the world hostage because of the importance of the
tankers moving through the Straits of Hormuz 15 years ago Texans did a good job
in propping up the oil industry here by engaging and fracking so that we're
now more independent but now the President is taking the right steps to free
the world from that stranglehold that this radical theocracy has had on the
ability for commerce to flow and for those tankers to move through the straits so
by taking out cars island that's a big strike at China what people aren't
really focusing on here is the geopolitical brilliance of the President taking
on Russia and China by going after Maduro and now going after Iran this is the
moment to reshape the geopolitical stage and the President is doing it okay
let's just forget about this hyperbole and stuff that Iran was holding the
world hostage that they've been doing all this geopolitical stuff folks they
have been doing nothing except surviving and we have had economic sanctions on
them we have had especially us and and primarily Israel in this regard have
been doing everything kinetically to harm them for a long time assassinating their
leaders assassinating their civilian leadership assassinating scientists and in
many cases killing their families along with them with with missile strikes
into apartment buildings stuff that we would go crazy if any nation did either
to Israel or to the United States or anybody in the West we don't bat an
island we do it to them no no problem because they're this radical the
ocracy and they're after us all I mean that's it's get into the point to where
it's it was comical now it's just embarrassing it's like nobody's believe in
that I mean what are you talking about here an interesting look did he also
talks about you know this is something President Trump had to do he said and
now he said this is really about Russia and China he goes further so you really
want to make that argument that's where you want to go that now then you're
trying to say that the war not just Carg Island the war is about China and
Russia now let me just tell you that's gonna fall on some fertile ears not
in America but in China and Russia because they already see that you stole
Maduro and in the process co-coopted the rest the remainder of the
government and took possession and control of their oil and then now here we
know you're trying to apparently either militarily or economically crush Cuba
and then now over here you're trying to take the oil appointedly for to get
it China and Russia and take control of the Middle Eastern oil too now China is
not gonna sit back and say golly man I hope they don't do that because that
would be really bad for us and dang it I mean we're powerless to do anything
about it they're not now now first of all and let me just kind of also show
you this on the map here Carg Island right now is 90% it's where 90% of their
oil flows through but it's not the only thing they have so you see this is
where it goes because it's easier to get through the tankers there's a system
for that but you can see China a budget on the other side here and so they have
the ability through pop lines and other things that they can go other ways to
get oil to China there's additional export locations in other places that
they can go to they don't have the capacity of Carg so it would be more
difficult and it would be slower but there is other ways to get oil to China
from Iran and of course with Russia that there too they would facilitate a lot
of that in almost certainly but the bigger issue is what do you think China is
gonna do about this what do you think Russia is gonna do about this because if
they see that you're physically trying to move to take possession of something
that would then block something that it benefits them economically or that
they rely on is in the case of China listen I folks people in the
administration I've been saying this since we've had this channel and since I've
been writing and going on television before the channel happened there are
actions reactions to your actions there are consequences to your actions we
don't want that to happen we want to whatever we say just happens we don't
want there to be any results from supporting the Mujahideen in the 1980s in the
Soviet afghan war but that's where al-Qaeda started that's where some have
been lawden started so that was the consequence of our action then and then we
just walked away and then left all kinds of problems that was the genesis
genuinely the genesis of al-Qaeda which then later on according to whatever we've
been told it was led to 9-11 and everything that happened after that led to
ISIS we all of those things keep having consequences here and and all of our
actions in the Russia Ukraine war are gonna have consequences and we're seeing
that we many people were amazed and angered that reports that Russia was
helping Iran target American bases throughout the region well what a shock
because our actions of helping Ukraine destroy and kill Russians within
targeting intelligence for four years so far in that war that's come home to
roost here we were moving in from NATO to expand a NATO up all the time ignoring
everything Russia says not caring anything even when they said there are red
lines and when they said no this Georgia and Ukraine are red lines and they took
military action in both it was as predictable as the sun coming up in the
morning but we didn't want that and so we're acting shock and amazing it's like
what's wrong with these people I said it's defensive even though we're
advancing up to their border see we want to say whatever we want we want to do
whatever we want and we don't want any consequences only that's not how the
world actually works and now a lot of these chickens are coming back home to
roost and it's a problem and we're already seeing that here Chip Roy is talking
about hey we're taking we took the Venezuelan we now you know being the
process of trying to take the Iranian oil it's still an open question whether
any that's going to work but that seems to be the objective and what has been
the results so far let's take a look at the Russians first care if you can
put that next full screen up there this is from I think yesterday to where
you're they're taking a look at so far after I think two weeks of war here
since so very concretely the outcome of the war so far is that Iran controls the
world's most critical energy choke point and Russia can now sail their oil
freely and at a premium I can't think of another US war that's been such an
obvious strategic disaster so quickly normally take a couple of years to do
that and say he sees referring to the breaking news on March the 12th the
Treasury Secretary said they'll authorize the sale of crude oil from Russia to
other people bypassing sanctions and that's on top of the price of oil going from
$67 to presently 101 and that's almost only certainly gonna continue to go
up and a president Trump makes good on the rest of his threat there
over that you see that's that's the current price there $101 as of the
chart that I'm made here if he actually goes through and if the Iranians don't
surrender and he ends up attacking the mill the oil facilities on there that's
only almost certainly gonna cause that spike to go up because right now the
the the issue is a political decision to block the straight-of-formers which
can be unblocked just based on another political decision and then everything
can can can just continue to roll through there in fact here if you can put
that full screen up of the the current position in this situation the
straight-of-formers you can see that it's blocked here these are actually not
that one here I'm gonna come back to that one in a second that was these right
here all these little dots are ships that are just anchored in either in the
Gulf of Oman or in the Persian Gulf all those on the left side of that land
that's jutting out in the middle there those are full tankers that have that
full of fuel and oil but they can't get out all those on the right are empty
waiting to get in so that they can fill up and then head out but nobody's going
anywhere right now so that's all a political decision and if and if we can come
to some sort of negotiated settlement on all parties to get this thing over
with it can just go back on but if you strike that or the cargo oil field and
you you destroy the oil facilities that's gonna take many months to get
done and now then even if there is a political settlement you open up the the
the the Gulf a substantial portion of the oil won't be able to come out because
it's it's already it'll have been destroyed the facilities you can't even get
it out it's gonna be much much difficult which is going to keep the oil
pressed up higher and keep it up higher for longer so that doesn't help the
United States and even though President Trump says oh yeah well we make money
on that so it's good for us well that may be good for the old companies it's
terrible for the American people yeah they may love getting a lot of cash I'm
sure they do a lot of the president's buddies are just reveling this they're
cool with it no question about that but the American people like the hundreds of
millions of us and that goes for hundreds of millions in Europe actually all
over the world the consumer because global oil is a global commodity so the
price goes up it's global it's not just one place but all the regular people
billions of us will pay that price so it's a odd thing for president what
maybe it's not hard it's odd that he admitted it because it's good only for
some people not good for the people who are gonna be voting in the admit term
elections later this year which is something he probably cares about but
listen if if it's odd for Americans and they're making weird statements like
this that are disconnected from reality or just work counter to our purposes
unfortunately it's not limited to the Americans and I'm gonna show you one
sample here from Europe which has multiple ramifications here and here is
Friedrich Merz oh boy he's gonna be sitting here what in this clip I'm about to
show you he says listen we want this war to come to negotiate a settlement but
look where he puts the pressure have a gemeinsame clear opinion to the
war that the time to get the Iran is going to be carried out and our
secure things to all the first to the Iran and his mullah regime the war
ends they have it in the hand quickly to a solution to this war to come
especially the mullah regime is in the hand not other countries in the region to
attack like some of the gold states and the whole region to destabilize the
responsibility for light to all the first at the regime in terror so whoever wrote
the talking points for American representative chip Roy apparently gave a
copy to the chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz because all this is
everything is Iran's fault they they are the the the protagonist they're the
bad guy they're the ones who started this so that's who needs to end it now
isn't that interesting so he's saying with a straight face with some
conviction that there's only one side that can end this war and that is Iran and
they're doing all this nefarious things and all these people they're attacking
throughout the region well they're the bad guys and so that shows you how how
destabilizing and how awful they are and that they need to bring this to an end
not one word about Israel not one word about the United States that started this
war and is ruthlessly attacking Iran left and right now let that sink in for a
second the side that started the war and is daily attacking ruthlessly
blowing up stuff all over the place in bragging about it you know Secretary
Hicks at yesterday's bragging about no quarter will be given no mercy no
stupid rules of engagement all this stuff right that's what we're saying to
doing to them and then now here's Friedrich Merz saying that the side on
the receiving end of all that aggression is the one responsible for ending it
what he's asking for is unconditional surrender that's what president
Trump wanted in a sense that's what he's defining there he's saying listen
you should just surrender and it's your responsibility to do so because you're
the bad guy here you should just surrender and I'm thinking now what kind of
weird world is this when we're taking what is the country that had never attacked
anyone and then this small country and then all of a sudden we go in there
because who knows filling the blank there's a ton of different reasons why we
did it some were claiming some were real we attacked this country and you're
saying that the victim should be the one to submit to the bigger one and somehow
that's the right way meanwhile that same chancellor looking in his back yard
sees that a war that was started on February 22nd 2020 I'm sorry 24th
2022 when Russian forces crossed the border into Ukraine now Russia feels like
that it was something that they had to do that's neither here nor there the
fact is Russia invaded into Ukraine and that that was the country that was the
aggrieved Russia invaded Russia attacked and they're still fighting to this day
now in that case you have Friedrich Merz saying that the aggressor
country the one that started that war they're the ones that should stop it
they're the ones that should pay reparations they're the ones that should
help bear the responsibility for it and everybody should do everything they can
to the poor country that's on the receiving end of this aggressor should not be rewarded
now what he says all the time all the time aggression should not be rewarded
unless it's up to our preference and if it's our aggression then it should definitely be rewarded
you see how stupid that is and and it's more than stupid that's probably not the right word
it's dangerous it's alarming what that tells you is and by the way it tells everybody
in the world people are kind of neutral people who are adversaries they all hear this message
and see it loud and clear and in fact to them there's not a double standard it's actually not
it's one standard and it is whatever we want we get and if we want to be the aggressor we can
and if we don't like it when somebody else is in the aggressor we don't but all cases the
definition lies with us we decide what's right we decide what needs to happen and everybody else
needs to submit to our desires there is no morality in that what used to be called the western
values and the rules based order the rule of law all of these things people will talking about
their their national constitutions and how the the Judeo Christian morality was supposed to be the
one that the world would envy and would bring peace and stability and prosperity to everyone
that Ronald Reagan used to talk about that that kind of mentality being a city on a hill
and now then we have bulldoze that city off and now we don't even pretend anything else it's now
brute force it's all about power you give me what I want and that's it you either submit to
what I tell you to do or you die that's that's what we offer the world right now I could go through
a whole long list of that but it is all on display right now both in the United States and Europe
and it is a sickness that we better find a way too and we the people who still have morality and
believe me there are hundreds of millions of people in in the western world the United States
Europe that's still and even even in Israel too there are still large numbers numbers of people
that care very much about morality about the rule of law about following constitutions and about
bringing peace and stability where everybody gets a chance to survive but right now those
in power don't and we may all pay the price for that now I'm real quickly I'm going to give you
kind of an update of what's going on here in the war and kind of where we are tactically
you're if you can go ahead and bring up that full screen of the vessels that have been stuck because
everything's still centers on the on the the poor goal of the straight of fore moves in the
Gulf of Persian Gulf where all the oil is coming through that is still the central terrain where
all this war is being fought and where it's going to be won or lost so far the Iranian side has
the ability to keep that that straight shut as long as they do they have the leverage they have the
the substantial position here where they can call the shots and by the way they are I'll get to
that in just a second but what they here's here's how they've done it so you see that there's
not a huge number of strikes in this this is the the vessels that have been struck and you see
that the most of them are around the the straight itself there's a few that are further up in there
not far from Carg Island in that top one there's even a couple on the right set or actually a few
on the right side of it but what they're doing is they're hitting just enough to keep everybody
else paralyzed in fear again now Gary if you could show me the current picture here not that one
the the current picture of the of the straight in the Persian Gulf that one that's what you see right
now that's paralyzed though those are all just anchored they're all just sitting there or else they're
kind of uh uh patrolling in circles but if you see the active the live version of it but no one's
passing through the empty ones aren't going in the full ones aren't coming out and that's what's
going on right now so that's what President Trump's trying to finish to figure out how to solve
and it's just not working up very well now all of this has oil as we set up to $101
barrel right now and it's been slowly economic member it went down for a little while early in the
week when President Trump said oh well you know what the war is about over um you know it's going
to be over soon and it had that dip but then people realized uh you know in the oil industry
uh he actually didn't mean that those were just words because nothing changed and and now then
the process went back up and now then I suspect uh it's probably going to continue to slowly rise
unless something major happens pro or con I imagine it'll just continue eating forward because
people are really nervous uh nobody wants to process well said nobody not many people want the
process of will to go up yeah that's the one that's the the live one there thanks Gary uh except for
the oil companies but even they're not so much because they still have to get their product out and
they can't sell it they're not making any money so even they have an incentive for this to go over
uh to to be over with very soon but so far it's not and uh now then to put pressure on Iran
then we continue the war outside of the Gulf and then let's take a look at that here are some of the
hits from the region now if you put the regional one up here so this is what the two sides are doing
so you see everything in the gray area in Iran that's what we're striking against Iran and everything
that's in that tan color that's what Iran is doing to us and so you see uh there's a lot of blows
being struck I mean that I I think uh if you can put it in sports terminology we went in thinking
we were going to get a first round knockout we thought that the opening rounds two or three days
of shock and all uh would just shock these people we'd get an assassination of the the itola
and like with Maduro when we took him out everybody else would just submit to us to end the the
fighting right there and that didn't happen so now then you're like oh snap now we have to get
into an actual 15 round bout you know a prize fight and you see that both sides are landing blows
on the other and we showed you that one of buff rain and we've been hit in buff rain many times
that's continuing on over and over well I want to zero in on the Iranian side of that so you see
in a Tehran has been struck you see a bunch of red dots in the middle let me zoom in on that one
a little bit because they are being hit hard now this is what Tehran is being received for up so you
see that there's lots and lots of targets uh in that region not just the city of Tehran but also
in the cunts area in the uh Loma Bad area etc uh some miscellaneous you see so we're hitting a lot
of targets here but this also illustrates one of our problems what are you shooting at here and
what is the intent you should not use force unless it is going down a process it's going to lead to
a political outcome of your preference you want to be able to put pressure on somebody and hurt
somebody in the in the purpose of causing them to want to uh or to require them to submit to
whatever you want them to do so for example if they if they're center of gravity the thing that
they have to have the most uh is there is there ground forces then you want to have shots that go in
on on making their army stronger that's what the Russians are doing they're they're they're focused
on destroying the Ukrainian army so most most of their targets go into uh all the front line stuff
where they physically destroy the Ukrainian army man by man on the front lines and then they
secondary target is to go deeper where they're going to hit the ability to sustain the war at the
front with energy electricity uh making life miserable for the people etc making it hard for them
to produce anything else so that they continue to beat you a week at the point of contact and
they're going to so that's the Russian plan so it's taken a long time but they actually have a
coherent plan what we have here though appears to just be a bunch of targets that we're striking
we're hitting buildings uh we're hitting sometimes we hit all facilities sometimes we don't
and what's that supposed to accomplish what is the intent of those because it's there since
there's no field army involved here it's not to to like the Russians are doing with their
strikes against energy infrastructure in order to make them weaker and if the idea is well you're
going to have to we're hitting these oil infrastructure whatever to make it laugh miserable
on the people well they're certainly doing that but if that's if we think that is going to cause
the people to turn against their government or put pressure on the government to submit to us
dude you better be locked in for a long time look at look at the hoothies about 15 years and they
to this day are still not submitting to anything look at hummus after two and a half years of war
and of course going back to when they first came into power in 2005 they have not submitted
to this day uh hezbollah even though you absolutely destroyed their senior leadership remember
last year um and we assassinated uh Hassan Nasrallah their their leader and almost all of their
senior generals and then they had that pager of it remember that we're i think over a thousand
people were either killed or seriously wounded where are they doing today there was a big
barrage of the day they are still viable they're still fighting even though Israel has been doing
even more stuff even in the weeks and months heading into this and throughout this were they're
still firing a lot into Beirut into southern Lebanon and it hasn't brought them to their knees
look at the Ukrainian people they have not they're four years and have just been
pulverized by the Russians on the front in the rear areas all the way through all these facilities
and yet they have not broken why do you think that Iran is going to cement a couple weeks
and that now we're surprised if you're not ready to go up to this for a number of years if you're
not resourced to this and all those shots i showed you on the capital a second ago that needs to be
like every month and you better be resourced for that and you better be prepared and i don't i'm
pretty sure we're not because look unlike the Russian side the Russian side is on the border
all of their facilities right there they can load it to stuff on trains and move it back and forth
all they want put it on some trucks drive it up to the front drive it to their bases where they
then gets on the aircraft they fly and everything is in range right there we on the other hand
have to transport over thousands of miles in the air and on the sea and that is going to wear out
our air fleet it's going to wear out our our navy our actual ships and it's going to wear out the
people because right now i know for certain because i've got some contacts uh who are on the ground
in the region and they say that morale is already starting to suffer uh because they're just
getting worn out i mean consider the the Gerald R Ford by itself it already was three months over
its deployment time to go back after conducting the operation of Venezuela and now then here they are
and who knows when they're going to go home so they're already way over apparently there's
another aircraft carrier coming maybe they're going to replace them maybe they're going to add
to it that we don't know about that that's to be determined but no matter which way it is that
is going to continue to keep pressure on the second week of war so if you think that you're
going to compel the Iranian side into submission we are desperately wrong.
Well let's let's take a look at some other really important things we learned this week because
these all tale uh dovetail it together to give you a picture of just how difficult this is going
to be. First of all we had Alistair Kuk on this week uh who reveals what Iran's actual strategy is
and they have one. Iran is unfolding that capabilities incrementally they have only getting
started now it will gradually move and we'll see some of their newer missiles they're husbanding
their missiles they're playing for the long war not the short war so they're not going to far
at all off with ones that Israel in a big split no they have they have their target bank too
they're following the target bank and they're taking it one by one and they have more modern
more sophisticated missiles we haven't seen yet but i've i know that they have even newer ones
in the stock pile and their stock piles are full i mean have no illusions you know all the
Iranians have run out because they're firing fewer missiles this is nonsense i mean the Iranians
are doing this very carefully why far lots of missiles will try and draw out and to
complete the intercept base when you don't have to one missile a day if it's a hypersonic or one
with multiple warheads some of them have 80 sub munition warheads i'm landings with a 20 kilo
warhead in each so when they land it's like an artillery barrage of 80 guns firing all at once
with 20 kilo armaments i mean it's devastating and seeing that that really illustrates the the
difference between the Iranian side and the Israeli-slash American side because we have to we're
wearing out our crews we're wearing out our air crews we're wearing out the navy obviously our
bases are being hit all over the place but for for Iran they merely have to survive they have to
be able to maintain solvency as an effective government that got to maintain control of their
people but that's a pretty low bar because the people themselves are in line here even i've
heard recent reports about even those who hated the regime and who were protesting against it
now have gone to ground or they're just saying hey we'll get back to our internal differences later
but first of all we have to stop this murderous attack from all these different sources externally
because it's against our nation not just against the regime we're all here we're all getting hit so
that's that's that's the lowest bar that you can cross and up to this point there's been no evidence
whatsoever that they're going to do anything different that other nations have that i mentioned
a minute ago when attacked by an external power they're rallying around the flag but they also
all they've got to do is remain militarily solvent too and have some minimal level of sustain
rate of fire of drones and missiles that can extend over some period of months maybe even a
couple of years apparently but certainly over many months and they have definitely prepared for
this their resource for it because they have long foreseen this and so if they're successful
and just continuing to hit Israel and by the way just minutes ago I get an update from a source
that has access to what's going on they say that Israel is really starting to feel the pain
and there are portions of Tel Aviv that's starting to look like Gaza still a lot of that's not
getting out on Western media but it is getting out on social media I've seen the videos seen the
photographs it's not a joke how long can they go before this one these gleaming cities that they've
had which has just been gorgeous are turned into Gaza I mean how long can you go on that I don't
know how long can we go on on on those same patterns wearing out our crews and at what point
are you going to have to say all right we're going to have to mobilize reserves we're going to
have to mobilize National Guard Air National Guard others to sustain this operation that's what happened
by the way in the 2005 well these the insurgent war that we had it started in about 2004 2005
in Iraq we were originally equipped for this 300,000 force I think it was that went on operation
Iraqi freedom in 2003 in March of 2003 the idea being we're going to conquer them there was
roses and everybody was going to come out and thank you so we were going to go home but when
that didn't happen because it turned into an insurgent war and now they said oh snap we had to
expand the size of the force we had to grow it tens of thousands more bring in some reserves
mobilize National Guard entire organizations to be able to have the rotations because you can't
wear people out some of them win his money when a deployment went 15 months there was serious
strain on the force and those were it because normally it was going to be a 12-month deployment then
some got extended to 15 while they're trying to get the the pattern the pop line for the person
out pop line that could sustain this over time we're really close to having to execute something
like that right now because it's self-evident after now we're heading into the third week
this is not going to be over with any time quick because Iran can endure as Aleister Krug described
there well one of the other things that we don't we didn't understand which is really
impacting where this is going to go here and I think that we still don't based on comments from
President Trump last night what they think hegseth said yesterday what they think is going to bring
them to their knees is an understanding of the Iranian people we don't know the Middle East we
cannot understand the rational of the people we don't understand the mentalities we don't understand
the culture it's also surprising to see how poorly the Israeli understand their own political and
geostrategic environment they don't understand the way the Arab think the way they understand war
the way they understand the the idea of conflict the Middle East culture have another kind of
logic than we have as an example the idea of victory you are a military I'm a military we have
learned in our military schools that to achieve victory you have to destroy the enemy for a Muslim
victory is not related to the destruction of the enemy victory is a victory on yourself the victory
is not to abandon the conflict not to not to give up that's the victory and that's the essence
the word jihad for instance that we tend to translate as holy war is not it's a it's a wrong
translation the word jihad come from the verb jihadda that means to resist to struggle you cannot
expect someone to win over a more powerful enemy but what you can expect from your combatant
is that he doesn't give up see and I think that we are so guilty of doing this so oftentimes in the
West we project our mentality on to someone else so we imagine that if someone was bombing us
and someone was threatening us we'd surrender we'd give in we would rather say all right let's stop
the pain because I want to get back to some kind of normal life and as long as they'll allow it
I'll have now we wouldn't actually do that in fact our history is filled with examples where our
own culture would be dramatically against that see the battle of the bulge in war were two is just
one example we don't do that we don't actually give in like that I mean look at the civil war we
we just it took all those years of fighting because nobody wanted to give up until the the north
eventually just just absolutely destroyed the south physically by going on this route to the sea
where they just destroyed everything farm cities burned everything to the ground Atlantic up burned
etc that's the only thing that called to them but people it wouldn't want to give up even then so
I don't know if we're projecting somehow we want to project that we're tough but those guys
they're weak and they'll give in because all we got to do is pressure because that's what you
want to happen not what will happen but if you're so reminded as Jacques Bois and you say what is
their character and what is their nature then you realized that a bunch of shock and awe and a bunch
of bombs and blowing things up it's not going to bring them to their knees because their character
in their nature is to suffer and to endure to be long suffering and to just keep going and to
not give in and are you resource for that we get back to that same issue there was that your plan
going in or did you gamble everything on first this the collapse of the government because of one
guy gets killed in the first hour one run round knockout and if it doesn't get a knockout are you
prepared to go 15 rounds that the jury still out on that one one of the other problems that
was exposed this week is from our side not just our mentality about lack of strategic understanding
or lack of understanding of the enemy or their strategy but it's a problem of our own I mentioned
that kind of alluded to this earlier about how we seem to not be focused anymore or we're not
animated by morality about justice about logic about the rule of law and we had Dr. Pape on who
said one of his concerns is that based on some of the comments from some of our senior leaders
and what we're doing as a nation is that we have the normalization of violence to achieve our ends
Barack Obama and Joe Biden were fools when it comes to run what did Donald Trump do he spoke to
him out they want a bomb to purify Islam destroy the state of Israel and come after us their religious
Nazis and Donald Trump proved that point what you're really seeing with Senator Graham there
is you're not seeing strategy at all this isn't a strategy discussion of means and what's the
story how you get to the end point doesn't have any of that what this is is rhetoric to normalize
political violence in the body politic in America so we become used to political violence and
used to what may happen killing lots of civilians in Iran this is the normalization of political
violence he's made it's like turning it's like the frog in the bot that what we increased the
the boiling water and you don't really notice it because it's becoming normal we're crossing thresholds
here that are trip wires and we're just not even noticing and we kill what 175 kids at the school
we burn them to death here with this tomahawk good chance we don't know for sure the good chance
this is AI gone amok and and we just kind of brush this off yeah if we do we just kind of brush
this off and look because we we rarely look beyond the end of our nose or past one election cycle
we're not stopping to consider the ramifications that we're not even looking behind us and seeing
where we've been and how far we have fallen down in what used to be the morality at least that
we put on the surface I mean we've we've always had this dark underside that even when we were
saying stuff like Reagan's you know want to be a city on a hill we had the Iran contra thing in
the background of that and plenty of other things and going back I don't need to recite all those
everybody's aware of that but and in the main and at least the majority of our public and of our
politicians at least sought to attain and to apply some level of morality and and definitely in
the in the concourse in the conduct of of our affairs both at home and abroad but now then you're
seeing especially now it's been going on for a while really I think that President Bush started
the downward trend with all of these wars that he started and all the things that he wanted to do
and you you may recall and we're probably going to highlight that again here this coming week that
I think it was the 2007 revelation by General West Clark on democracy now where he said that
in the first few days following 9-11 there was a plan to to conduct seven wars
and I think it was five years if I'm not mistaken something but there were seven of them there
were all these super countries Iran was the last one and now here we are so you've got delayed
from what it was but that apparently was the plan of some for a long time and that we went after
that so we have gone from that's where we started this downward slide and then even though Obama was
you know on the surface was really cool he did a lot of things that were illegal and unethical
behind the scenes has killed this using military force in small scale but in a lot of places
then of course President Trump in his first term continued on with that didn't get out of Afghanistan
didn't get out of Syria decided to keep the oil whatever and then Biden comes in of course he
just goes full hog on Russia with the Ukraine war and does some other things also behind the scenes
but also continued on down the the list of breaking the law just executive orders bypassing
Congress etc not even worrying about the Constitution about the war powers actor any of that stuff
and now then here comes Trump it's just taking it like two levels deeper because the guard rails
had been coming off bit by bit since 2001 and then now Trump has just knocked them off their hinges
there's not any guard rails at all it's just an edge and there's no there's no outward
requirement to stop and that is going to be a real problem with this we keep going to the sped
history shows that that people and people groups will eventually get tired of that and
band together and then come against our interest in ways that could be decidedly in convenient
painful and possibly even bloody and we could be planting the seeds for that right now
before any of that happens we still have a shot however unlocksly to reverse course and do
something different but according to our last guest that we wanted to show you this week Robert
Barnes not a lot of option not a lot of hope that we're moving down that path
I wonder how long and this would be a question for you at some point don't don't some of these
military officials have to resign rather than continuing to participate in this that's a question
that I have as well that you know where where are the resignations because where is all that
the the morality of war and the honor that we have I was taught my entire career and was told
by the highest levels you have to do the right thing even when it's unpopular you have to say no
to illegal orders you have to say we're going to do the right thing no matter what kind of pressure
I get from above they taught those classes they it's they demanded that we learn them where are they
now when it comes to when it matters the most this is when it matters not when you're doing some damn
class somewhere and I don't see any of it so far yeah I agree but I think the I think we will see
the first set of impediments using war crimes in American history over this combined with Venice
especially because you have the president running around saying I don't have to be held accountable
it's only my own soul my own conscience that I have to listen to that's it that's my only guidepost
I mean look at what the White House is doing it right we bonded little girl school and what are we
doing we're putting out you know the little memes and videos like it's a football game like it's a
game of golf like it's an arcade video game this is horrific this is morally horrendous behavior
this is everything that the people that were critics of Trump and critics of America
claimed about us on full display that we are literally team America world police south park film
and we think that's a script to use to celebrate this kind of conflict in the childish way I mean
pegs that always sounds like he's reading off of a script the you know oh yeah I can sound macho
here and I sound real tough over here I'm like yeah I'm in an action film like Dan Bonzino like
Dan ballast Bonzino oh yeah I'll do my karate on these people are disgrace disgrace to the American
military disgrace to the American founders disgrace to the American people now I'm grateful for
people like Robert Barnes and there are many of us like I said earlier there are millions of Americans
that still have a moral code that are anguished over what we see here but you see that we're not
in power and those that are in power are continuing to do stuff like he was talking about and I want
to end the show here today and and Robert Barnes mentioned there about some comic things that we
were doing and Gary has something that we want to show you here all you can do is shake your head
at this Gary what do you got to show for us well you know you know Danny exactly what the
Robert was referring to when I first came across this I see that the video starts to unfold and
you know I thought well this must be a parody account because there's no way the White House put
this out this is on the White House ex account and they they even title it you know officially the
official release they call this video undefeated and this is I wonder who they think the audience or
who in their minds when they sat down and created this who they thought they're going to be attracting
now they're not going after kids but look at what we hope with well right you've got to hope they're
not going after kids with this but yeah is this not it's just a bad taste is an understatement
yeah it is I mean it's it's not comical other than in the sense that you can't be serious the White
House what used to be the symbol of the American people and the symbol of American power even more
than the Pentagon or more than the Capitol building it was the White House that was the symbol of
American power and prestige and now that it's doing stuff like what you're seeing on this
previous second one they didn't want they like it so much it did it again it's bad comic I mean
it's bad artwork even it's not good you know it reminds me about you remember a month or two ago
when they put out a video I don't know what it was and what what the message of the video was
but they ended up portraying both Michelle and Barack Obama oh yeah yeah part two and it's right
and you know it was basically ended up well it was a racist video that they put out they ended up
taking that down but they're so they're so proud of this they did it twice and this is how
they portray the ongoing conflict with Iran right now yeah and to your point there what is the
intent of this do you think that as the White House whatever their production staff that put
this in and whoever authorized it to go out on the official ex account yeah what do you think this
is going to do to do you think that this is going to go out to the American people because obviously
that's that was a primary target that they're going to say oh okay I see yeah that's cool man yeah
kill some more Iranians I mean I don't know I'm asking you this because you spent a lot more time
in mainstream media than I did like 17 years at a network before you came here what do you think
was the intent behind this what is what is there an objective Dan I think they're in their own
world right you know often people people that are in Washington the ones that are the ones that
are familiar with the culture there say how how they're in Wisconsin they're their own world
and their own bubble and I think that's what's going on in the White House that they think oh this
is so clever this will be really attractive it'll be attention getting you know it's interesting
though you didn't see Fox News playing this you don't even see them talking about it I think even
someone like that who advocate for the president as far as they can as often as they can wouldn't
dare touch this this is like a straw that broke the Campbell's back didn't see it once on Fox
well I'm not sure it broke the Campbell's back but at least the camel kind of moved it over to
the exactly off the off the screen but yeah I mean it's again it's it's so embarrassing and
it but it's in such bad taste oh my gosh anyway yeah and especially when when you see that this
is coming literally days after we apparently anyway through mistargeting killed a hundred and
something kids and teachers it has been profoundly bad tasting by the way on that to date other than
President Trump trying to say it was actually Ron blowing up their own people I haven't to this
date seen any even even expression of human compassion and dignity the says you look we're doing
some investigations whatever actually happened our hearts are broken for those poor families for
the survivors the brothers the sisters the parents we can only imagine I mean at least show some
humanity yeah no it's almost like it's a technicality yeah well we'll get to the bottom of that we
didn't do it but we'll get to the bottom of it right yeah you mean and I remember that that
scene where we're president Trump on the on Air Force one was blaming it on the Iranians themselves
yes what I think they did and then you had a secretary hex at the over his shoulders and say yeah
who's the one that did targets children it's only one person and it's not us it's the Iranians they
target children you know and I'm like and now then New York Times Washington Post I don't know if
it's been officially admitted by the Pentagon but now it's like oh yeah it kind of was us it turns
out because we took credit for all the other buildings in that compound that were hit so I don't
know how we claim that one building was actually argued about somebody else in the same salvo
but that that makes that that's not playing well no my gosh you know and getting back to the
heartlessness you were mentioned before Robert Robert Barnes who was on yesterday you know he was
he was a self-proclaimed you know a MAGA follower you know for sure for years you know defending
your Trump he said he's been a Trump follower for the whole time and just in the last few months
even he says it doesn't even recognize this guy the heartlessness of it the way he talked about the
soldiers that we have lost well you know that's that's that's how war is that you know we got to
expect that there was there was no compassionate on he says he doesn't even recognize the man
that he'd been very closely following for years and I would say I'm in that camp also
I'm horrified at the way he is at the callousness of what now is transpiring and they're they're
trucking it off to statistics it's what's happened we had to expect it of course there's going to be
more too by the way but you know that that's what it takes and there was there was no there was no
heartbrokenness yeah and that's and that's what and I think we even talked about this a little bit
with Barnes on the show is that that's one of the things that got him elected the first time
is because he had compassion for our losses the the the family members of the people who were
casualties in the some of the key swing states in 2016 went to Trump over what they the polls said
they would have done for Hillary Clinton but because of his stance on that one issue that pushed
him over the top it was a little bit but it was enough because the strength of people
believing that he cared about the the troops and that you know he cared about the veterans
and stuff and now now here we are and in the last few minutes here I mean what what do you think
this is going to be the result of this whatever the war almost does here I mean the strength of the
people behind him is I mean you and Robert Barnes can't be the only ones who were starting to waver
and going hang on this is not the guy that I followed oh no hard you know I tell you now I'm like
I'm looking for stuff because it's really bothering me and when he when he when he they were receiving
a this the less or the me yeah the less time they were receiving soldiers back in the fact
that you're yeah and he he wore a he wore a campaign hat and he's there in a campaign hat receiving
our dead soldiers back oh I just I can't tell you how how aggravated how maddening that was
felt sigma stomach how dare he right but you you also I'm certain you weren't in the least
surprised you may have been disappointed but you you couldn't have been surprised at all I wasn't
Hey you know how much you know you think how much lower can he step always steps there
well he's not going to step any lower any steps there there's there's there's always another
Roger trajectory is is horrifying yeah yeah I don't see any evidence that he's reached the bottom of
the stairs so we'll have to keep watching now I'm glad we're here and I'm glad you're here Danny
we love we love you guys that you know we're in this together you know when Danny and I first
started the channel we were saying to us we and I said to Danny you know we don't have the answers
you don't have the answers but we wanted to at least bring some illumination to what we see going
on and try to make sense of it all and that's why we have some answers if whether anybody's
going to listen that's a separate issue but we do have some of the answers here but which we share
but yeah one day who knows maybe someone will listen but all we can do is hope and and be
unintimidated and compromised no matter what the truth is to bring it to you because that's what
you guys deserve and that's what Gary and I will continue to bring to you thank you very much folks
