Darby is 36 years old and born and raised in Indiana. He was tentatively diagnosed with seasonal allergies around age 5 and clinically diagnosed with the skin test at 10. He had reconstructive sinus surgery at age 11 and was diagnosed with Graves disease in November of 2015. 

On January 15th, 2022, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The day he got home from the hospital, he discovered Dr. Shawn Baker and Dr. Ken Berry on YouTube, followed by Mikaila Peterson, Dr. Ben Bikkman, Dr. Cywes, Dr. Paul Saladino, Dr. Robert Kiltz, Professor Bart Kay, and others. 

Darby has had no sinus or ear infections from allergies with a total of only 8 days of symptoms this year. He has been taking no Insulin since February 1st. He has gained 26 lbs since May and has been taking no methimazole since April. His Graves' antibodies were at 301% on February 11. As of October 10, they were down to 198% with completely normal free T3/4 levels.
