Details Matter

About this episode

Today I'm joined by Bro. Myles and we're talking about why the details matter.

Little things can make a big difference. Have you ever told a joke and forgot the crucial part to the setup? Or maybe you give away the punchline to early.

In our family we’ve often listened to audio stories, and I really enjoy them. But I’m the kind of person that would prefer to sit down and do nothing else-except maybe snack-and listen to the story. I’m the guy that if a story is playing and people are talking over it and being generally noisy, I’ll turn it off. This is because the details are important to me.

I think kids can be even more focused on detail than we might imagine. There are things that stick out to kids that we don’t even notice. We need to take a step back and doublecheck; are we paying enough attention to detail?

A few things we try to cover:

  • Little Things Add Up
  • Kids Notice
  • Power in Perfection
  • Manage the Details
