No. No. I mean, this was the worst version of myself that I've ever felt. I've got to be better. I've got to find a way to recover and get back to the player. 2:02The lemon laws in the three? Okay, we're choking. Are we? Yeah, why not? That was amazing. I don't care to see a worst wood one, by the way. I think Miles Garrett realized, like, yeah, he was a, he's famous, but he's not like what? Famous, famous, famous. He's not like when you're when you're when you're a really good player for the Browns. That's one thing. But when you're on the supposed super team, like as Miles Garrett ever been the butt of this many jokes in his life, and he played for the Browns. Oh my God. No, you know what? The entire internet. He's the last slide about him. No, think about this. He is, he is 100% correct. Well, when he flipped his car, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. See this is the thing.

3:04Lime is right because before it was like, well, the Browns, Miles Garrett, Miles Garrett is being held back by the Browns, Browns are the Browns are the Browns are the Browns are the Browns, Browns, Browns, Browns, Browns, Browns, and then there was like, well, Miles, gotta get Miles out of Cleveland, gotta get Miles off the Browns. And then last night, it's like, okay, you're out of Cleveland and you're on the super team and it was struggling. And they made him such a focal point of the broadcast last night. Trent Williams, who's as old as the hills, it's still great, still great. No, I'm not knocking it like it was just, I watched him and the get off looked pretty quick and then he said he wasn't 100%. Hey, he's already talking about injuries and you know, he barely, he barely practiced the last month. Listen, it's, it's, and I said, As is no warranty. Right. No, don't you come back to my service station. You know, when Aaron Donald didn't make the trip, we talked about this yesterday and I'm like, I'm kind of surprised Miles is playing in this game.

4:07But, but you know, he's Miles as a competitor. Like I've never accused him of not being a competitor. And then yesterday he's, a lot of people have, sure, I think that's just not, not our show. But I think that's just Browns fans who were just mad when we lost a bunch and was at the ball in a Browns fan. And both was calling him not competitive years ago. But you know, Miles obviously was the best thing we had for a long time. And I think that was just frustration, right? Like, ah, where was Miles today? Like there were games where you'd have, there were these random games. Yeah. And then last year he sets a sack record on a terrible team on a losing team. And it's like, well, he thought he'd set you more. He said that anymore. You thought he'd say he'd have even more because like you're going to be playing with leads, but he wasn't playing with lead yesterday. No, they got the right. I got to get, yeah, they did. I mean, that champion's pose on, there was no reason to watch the second half of that game. So, champion's pose for those who leave early. But we'll talk about that coming up a little bit at 6.44. Maybe a little bit. I found a lot of people excited when I woke up this morning.

5:11I found a lot of people excited when I woke up in the middle of the night that he did, he had no impact. They got hammered and they had no impact. And I always, you'll want to take the high road, but you don't always have to take the high road. And it's like, okay, he's not like, you're free to root against him. It's not a serious injury. I don't think it's obviously not a serious injury. Like you're like rooting for serious injury. Boy, we've been down that road too many times recently. Like you're not rooting for a serious injury here, but it's like, all right, yeah, you don't want him to do well. You don't because if he does well, that means they're going to be probably be doing well. It's one game that got 16 to go, which is something that Miles has actually iterated before. As a member of the Cleveland Browns, it's sound, the post game was weird, the whole thing was weird. It was surreal at first to see him in a, in a Rams jersey.

6:12But I saw so many people who were excited and I go, yeah, you be excited. Be a Browns fan. You're a lot to be excited about this. I don't know how many victories you're going to get. And so I think you have a little, I think to some people, I think to some people, I think to some people, I kind of did like, because I do think there's been some people. You know what? Even myself, I certainly got to admit this. A lot of us have done, because he's not the typical type of like Jared verse. He's fishing a barrel. Okay. Can we call it what it is? Like as of right now, we're still in a honeymoon phase with Jared verse, but like I, I listened to his five minutes of media availability yesterday. There were people sending tweets about like, what a leader. This guy, like he is the fish and a barrel, barrel stereotypical defense dog leader, those things you want. Miles is a dog. Miles is a tremendous player. Miles ain't any of them other things. There's just heard verse brings. Yeah, he's just the best Browns player.

7:12He's just the best. I'll probably ever see him. He's probably the best Browns player you ever see, but he doesn't contribute all those other things. And I think it's bothered people because most like the guys we talked to, most guys we talked to on an everyday basis, stop playing football in high school. Well, high school is all about team team team, emotions, buy in, hold the rope, the whole thing. Take your end of the bargain, hold up your end. Like it's all about that. And so when they see that, it's hard to rationalize it, but he's so good in a place for our team and he's special. So we do mental gymnastics. Myself included absolutely. And then when he's gone, all the things that you've thought of in the back of your head, all the things that people have argued with you in the back that you remember in the back of your head, they come out because he's on another team. And your team has been the butt of the jokes over the last time in a year. And yet there will probably be plenty of jokes this year that have nothing to do with the miles. But your team has been the butt of the jokes and you've had this guy.

8:13And now you don't have them anymore. And it's like, okay, now I can finally be critical. Like there was a, I think there was a criticism that people wanted to hold back from. He's still a marvelous player. It is still only one game, but you are on, you're in an international game. It's the only thing going. It's this weird setting where I think some, I dig it a lot of people going Kenny, I tuned in just to kind of see Australia. It didn't help that, you know, Darym Mensa was playing against Florida A&M. And did he, did he play even in the second quarter? I tuned out. It was 21 nothing at the end of the first half, first quarter. And he was 14 to 15 for the game for three touchdowns. I mean, it's 49 nothing at the end of the first half. So some people they might have been watching a little bit of Miami than they tuned in. Like there was a curiosity there. And he's, they won 77 to seven. Yes, he is the biggest part of that curiosity, miles, not the Miami miles. The biggest part of that curiosity there. And he didn't do anything last night. No. And I think there was a lot of fans who, you know, you're allowed to be kind of happy. I think you're allowed to be that way.

9:13Of course you can. Okay. You have their draft pick. I'm just making sure we don't have to sit here and act like we need to take the high road on everything. Like we are allowed to root against people in professional sports. I don't need to sit there and talk down to everybody. We spend nine years of his life. No, we don't need to do that. Well, we were monitoring, you know, the chance of a situation all last year. And that didn't go our way, right? So nobody's really expecting the Rams to fall flat on their face. But that was a, that was a great start for us in that draft pick. Certainly. And hopefully this draft pick will help us. This draft pick will help us get on track. No, I don't, I can't say back on track. I mean, a little bit, but hopefully this will get us righted. And so I have to root against him for the greater good of the football team. I got none personal against them. We got none personal against them at all. But I got to root against them because I don't want them to have a high pick. I want everything I can possibly get. Yeah, after this year, if we can get ourselves correct, it is the hard part.

10:16We like to. Was Miles and obviously it was symbolic of, you know, that effort all together from that team? Yes. Was that because of the travel? Or was it because I was going to bring that up later, but my is well bringing up now. Yeah. Like how can you, I saw everybody making these grandiose statements about the travel. And I laughed because I told you on the way in. We had a super secret phone call. And I laughed. I said, the peach shrager, Peter shrager had the whole thing about all the rams sent 14 staffers to take this very trip. And then they had one that was going to come back immediately. And then the others were going to be there for two weeks. Like there was a whole scouting session on the travel portion of this. And I'm like, that seems like a total lie. That seems like a total lie. Not in that same Peter Shrager made it up. No. I'm like, it seems like the rams would tell Peter Shrager they did this just to have fun with them. But in the end, they were basically punning on this game to begin with.

11:20Well, that's it. That's the way you can convince me. There's no way you can convince me that they took this game that seriously. I said that yesterday, this wasn't just a, oh, I saw the outcome of the game. And now I'm changing my mind. Like no, I think we all had this big debate about the science of sleep. When in the end, weren't the rams just kind of messing with everybody? Yeah, but like didn't take this week seriously. They showed up as late as you could possibly show up for this game. And the whole goal was, hey, let's not get any injuries. That's a hell of a theory. And I don't think it's wrong. I found it the part about the rams lost though that I found immensely satisfying if I can say it's, it's twofold. One, I do think that there is a brand of holier than now. Blogger that blogs about football that really doesn't spend time with people. And it's, you know, it's always bothered me because it is the ultimate team game. It is about relationships. It is about people.

12:20And I don't think they have any like real relationships. And it's everything that is outside the box is the new way to do things. And there's an arrogance there to it. And I think Sean McVay is their Messiah of arrogance. And starting to sound like somebody else, I don't like sounding like that. But I think he's there like thing of arrogance that they just love. Now I don't hate Sean McVay even though it sounds like I do. I just think that Sean McVay has so many wild outside the box ideas with his football team. And the reason I'm satisfied and happy that they lost and lost so badly was that it dissuades teams from doing stupid things that they can get away with, that the Rams can get away with. Like Sean McVay does things and other teams try it and it gets other guys fired for trying to do Sean McVay things. Same thing with less need. Other teams try to do less need type of things and it gets guys fired or keeps you in, keeps you in a job for seven years like we've seen.

13:22Like that's what I don't like. The other thing is that it happening against the 49ers who are famous for what when it comes to travel, they spend a week in Youngstown, Ohio when they play on the Eastern time, when they're three hours away, they spend a week in Youngstown. When they have back to back, they'll spend two weeks like we've seen in Youngstown. Well, they'll, if they play in New York, they'll fly to New York or they'll fly to Youngstown, spend the week fly to New York, come back and then go to Pittsburgh after something like that if they got two weeks on the East Coast, like they've done that before. And so it didn't just happen against that team, against a team and happening against the team that's famous for we prepare for the time that we have because of all this stuff that's around us. You get what I'm saying? I do. I probably lost. No, I get it. But what I'm saying is I don't, I secretly wonder if the Rams, they put out all this stuff about all the studies they did on travel and this and in the back of their minds are like, had, if we get the win, gray, but we're not really that focused on this win.

14:28And so you're like, oh, did they did this poke a hole in all the Rams thoughts? And I'm like, no, no, no, no, it's not the Rams. It's exactly what the Rams know, possibly. Have you seen that's where I know I lost you because I didn't say any of that part at all about poking the hole in the Rams. I said what it does is it stops other teams from doing stupid things because when the Rams do it, it's ended up proving out. It's smart. They're a different organization. Yeah, but when I'm saying it's, was it stupid? That's what I'm saying. The Rams whole thought could have been that they're going to come home and they are not going to like the member that the thought was, well, the 49ers have gotten so acclimated to being in Australia. Maybe the Rams like, we don't want that to happen. So if we lose the game, we lose the game, but we're going to come back and be a normal football. So you're going to see a difference in how this game affected each team. This is what I'm pointing out. That's why I don't think he's crazy. Everybody's trying to win the game. You're not saying they didn't try to win the game. I just don't think they cared if they lost. Yeah, that's what, yeah, that's what you're pointing out. But I agree with you. But Kyle Shanahan's never not going to care about a game. Yeah, he's going to treat it like the Super Bowl.

Yeah, he's going to try to win, but if they didn't win, I don't think they're acting like this is the end of the earth. I think McVeigh is like, yeah, it's, it's one of 17. Yes. I do think that because I think that we could be sitting there in the NFC championship game and Aaron Andrews is telling a story about how they basically used it as an experiment and lineman's of being right and does champions pose over everybody. The thing that I don't like is that other teams try to do that and then they end up being foolish about it. Case in point, what was 2019 when we went out to San Francisco for Monday night football

16:32and we went out less than 24 hours beforehand and we were getting reports like I was falling asleep on the bus. Now, and it being kind of a disinterested bad football team, but it didn't help that you went out like the like the night before the game, you flew in, you know, a three hour time difference. Like that was ridiculous. And that was a John Dorsey thing as much as we like John Dorsey. That was a, that was a huge mistake by him, huge mistake. And it cost us dearly. They played like garbage. They looked like garbage. The whole thing was garbage and they made fun of you the whole time during that game. Like the Browns try things like that or other teams try things like the Rams do. They get made fun of the Rams have built up enough currency where they can do that and they're fine with it. And they can't kill him for it. Yeah, you can't kill him for it because then it'll turn out like they'll still be good and they'll use that as an anecdote later on in a big football. Super Bowl. And then they can laugh at the over coverage of what happened in Australia.

17:33Exactly. Exactly. That's we are on the same page. It took a minute to get there, but we are still on this, we're on different paragraphs, but we're on the same page there. But I think that yeah, anybody can be, you wouldn't be thrilled about it. You wouldn't be happy. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah. Gerald Ryder, 822.
