Hello, I'm Johnny Mac with five good news stories.
There was this woman, and she noticed the cats were looking behind the fridge.
She didn't think much of it, cats do stuff like that, and then she saw the cats acting
the same way behind the bookshelf, and she was like, hmm, what's going on?
What are you doing, her BB and Hugo?
They started grabbing the books as if they were trying to get something, have you figured
out what it was?
That's right.
It was a mouse.
She started filming this.
She said on the video, they found Jerry, but she also reassured her viewers, Jerry is
alive and well.
Apparently, Jerry the mouse outsmarted both cats, so what do they do?
She put her BB and Hugo outside, so the woman could try to catch the mouse, but the mouse
disappeared without a trace.
She put two humane traps out, one with cheese, one with chocolate, to see whether the
mouse could be lured in, but the mouse was too smart.
Do you know what these traps, I had these at one point.
They're called mice cubes.
It's like a plastic rectangle with a sliding door, so the mouse sees the cheese and goes in,
and then gets trapped and the door closes behind it and can't get out.
So I had these at one point, and you might think like Johnny or crazy person, but I feel
bad for the mice.
I don't want to kill the mice, I just don't want the mice in my house.
So I would take them and drive them down the block to the field, and people would be
like you're insane, and it kind of does look crazy.
Anyway, this was, so one day I head out with the mouse, drive down the block, drive to
the field, open up the thing, let the mouse out, and boy, out of nowhere, a hawk just went
shroom, boom, and ate the poor mouse.
This hawk, I can't believe how quickly this hawk spotted this thing.
I tried, Mr. Mouse, I'm sorry, anyway, her mouse traps didn't work, she brought the cats
back in, and the cats trapped the mouse under the room, but she explained, we moved half
the living room around and built a passage, hoping the mouse would find his way outside.
The mouse ran everywhere, just not through the door.
They tried for three more hours, and finally, the mouse is like, all right, I'm out.
Totally switching topics, a finger prick test may simplify diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
Doctors may soon be able to diagnose Alzheimer's through a simple finger prick.
One thousand volunteers are having their blood drawn and tested for three proteins linked
to the condition, researchers are hopeful that the finger prick test revolutionizes
how the disease is identified.
Meanwhile, this is good news for me, researchers have found a bacterial component to kidney
stones.
Can we make the kidney stones go away?
I get these all the time.
A research team was studying calcium stones and observed live bacteria and layers of
bacteria in the crystals.
You see, there's a long held assumption that kidney stones develop solely through chemical
and physical processes, but the study shows bacteria may actively contribute to their
formation.
Gotta love this baller move by a guy in Chile.
He was mistakenly paid 330 times his salary, so what did he do?
He resigned.
He was expecting around 500,000 pesos, but he discovered he'd been paid at 165 million
Chilean pesos, roughly around 180 grand.
At first, he informed the company about what had happened and said he'll go to the bank
and get the money back, but then he thought more about it and was like, yeah, no.
For three days, he couldn't be reached.
He didn't show up at work.
After three days, he submitted a letter of resignation.
The company filed a criminal complaint for theft.
The legal battle went on for three years.
The workers' lawyers said there was no theft.
You guys made a deposit, there's no deception or fraud.
The court ruled in favor of the employee.
The ruling is that it was an unauthorized appropriation.
That offense is not punishable under Chilean law.
If you would like this program without commercials, what you can do is for just five bucks a month.
Now maybe your job paid you three years worth of salary and you're like, wow, I got a lot
of extra money.
What should I do with it?

British Royals.

It comes with a 30 day free trial.
Hey, good news.
We found Dolly Parton, the donkey.
Yeah, Dolly Parton, the donkey had wandered away from her owner's farm in Michigan.
They got the Michigan state police involved.
The MSP said on social media troopers were dispatched after the donkey, exited through
a gate that had been left open.
Sounds like a very, very busy day troopers canvass the area and we're able to locate Dolly
taking a stroll along a roadway in the township and turned Dolly Parton the donkey back to
her owner's unharmed.
Now interestingly, Dolly Parton had escaped with another donkey named Henry.
Henry came home on his own.
