So today we are reading another beautiful fun story for you.
0:50
This particular story does have some rapid ears in it,
0:53
but all the more, it has some Easter eggs.
0:56
It looks like this story's fault.
1:00
Don't push the button.
1:03
The subtitle is an Easter Surprise,
1:07
and this story was written and illustrated by Bill Cotter,
1:12
and it's read today by Mommy and who are ya?
1:27
Whoa, sounds like you're cracking.
1:36
Hello, little baby bird.
1:38
Friends, I've just touched an egg,
1:40
and inside of it is a baby bird.
1:43
I know it's shocking.
1:45
You didn't think I could do that, but I can, and here he is.
1:48
Are you ready for your story, little bird?
1:51
All right, then let's get right to it.
1:54
Mommy and little bird.
1:57
Now, when we open the book, we see there's a monster.
2:00
He's purple, and he has blue horns, and he says,
2:07
I'm Larry, and I'm so excited for Easter.
2:14
And right next to him, we can see a big gray box
2:19
with a giant red, shiny button.
2:26
And oh, my goodness, my friends.
2:29
That button is just begging to be pushed.
2:36
Larry has something to say about it.
2:38
He says, I know what you're thinking,
2:41
but we shouldn't push the button seriously for real.
2:49
But I don't think the strawberry is locking.
3:00
Well, my baby bird just pushed the button.
3:05
And you're never going to guess what happened.
3:08
Where did these bunny ears come from?
3:13
Chypa pushing the button to her lips.
3:16
Chypa says, Larry, I would like to say something.
3:19
The reason why Larry is crying out is because he has two bunny ears
3:25
instead of those blue horns that I was describing earlier.
3:29
All right, my little sweet bird.
3:32
You want to push the button twice?
3:37
And guess what happened?
3:42
Chypa, now I have a bunny nose and whiskers.
3:50
Larry is no longer very monstery.
3:53
He's got cute little pink bunny ears and a cute little pink bunny nose and little whiskers.
4:01
Not very slim at all.
4:03
And there's something else I've noticed.
4:05
The button no longer looks round.
4:09
It looks like an Easter egg.
4:13
And he says, quick, push the button five times.
4:23
Oh, we've got five eggs.
4:28
Tap each egg to add some color.
4:33
He says, and sure enough, there are five eggs.
4:37
And now that we have tapped those eggs, it's amazing.
4:49
The next page over, we can see they all have colors.
4:53
There's a green one, an orange one, a pink one, a blue one, and the other one.
4:59
And he says, decorate the eggs with your fingertips to make them extra special.
5:06
And so my Tweety Bird has decorated them.
5:19
There's polka dots and stars and stripes and zigzags on them.
5:24
And all sorts of different colors.
5:26
Now, Larry has something to say.
5:30
Now, shake the book up and down to draw the paint.
5:38
And so we have now shaken the book.
5:41
But guess what happened when we did that?
5:45
All that shaking makes the eggs go flying.
5:49
Can you blow on the grass so we can find them?
5:57
Just blow a little harder.
6:05
And now we can see the eggs.
6:08
This book is almost like going for an Easter egg hunt.
6:13
Count the eggs as you slide each one into the basket.
6:18
Make sure you get them all.
6:21
Yeah, that was one, two, three, four, five.
6:27
Think, buddy, you helped make this the best Easter ever.
6:34
And there's that button again.
6:38
He's put the button in the Easter basket with all the eggs that we had.
6:43
There's that button.
6:46
We really can't help ourselves.
6:49
We want to push that button.
6:52
Probably not, right?
6:54
Because that's right, this book all over again.
6:56
Oh my goodness, that'd be so silly.
6:59
And I think, do we go on a say the eggs now?
7:04
Can you say tweet-to-it?
7:06
Okay, do you want to say anything in human voice to our friends?
7:12
We hope you can join us for another story tomorrow.
