"DOOMSDAY! …again?"
3/26/26 – I received a report yesterday from a staff writer of “Common Dreams” – an organization I’ve NEVER heard of. But I don’t “get out” much. However, these GREEN WORSHIPPERS JUST DO NOT QUIT!
The article was titled: “Every Key Climate Indicator is ‘Flashing Red’ in New UN Report.”
…and I sighed… here we go again and again.
As I’ve mentioned before, I get all kinds of emails and articles… I just can’t keep up. Several years ago, during Obama’s failed presidency, it was an anti-fossil fuel (haters of coal) group BRAGGING about how they closed another Coal plant in Pennsylvania. Of course, they wanted to come on my show and BRAG about their success HOWEVER, they rubbed me the wrong way that day… and I sent them back a note telling them to brag to all those children whose parents now don’t have a job or a way to provide for them. OR brag to all those consumers whose energy bills were about to skyrocket…… Yeah, they didn’t get back to me!
But then there are days when I receive an email that sparks my curiosity. A week or so ago, I received an email (newsletter) from American Stewards of Liberty- (great people – great Property Rights advocates) There was a link to an article written by a man named Bill Peacock.
The article he wrote was titled: “Repeal of the Endangerment Finding Could Be the Biggest Regulatory Relief in History: The Climate Change / Renewable Energy Hoax has Cost Americans More than $1 Trillion.
That caught my attention and made my heart beat with “renewed” excitement! BUT then as I read, I was even more intrigued. This man not only referenced commonsense, BUT also God’s word! NOW THAT’S SOME HIGH AUTHORITY THERE!

Hey! Where are you going? I got to get home.
America? It's time to come home.
It's time to come home!
By bringing Common Sense back into the nonsense.
Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio,
where America comes home.
Get on home!
Down this dirt road, you're going to find determination and grit.
Opinions that matter, and a big ole helping a good discernment.
And now, the woman that wishes the DC occupiers
would stop making her user mom voice.
Here's your host, and the voice of Common Sense.
Beth Ann.
And I welcome you today to CSE Talk Radio.
It's my honor, my privilege and my pleasure to be here with you today.
We're going to have some fun today. We've got a new guest.
We're going to bring on here in just a few minutes.
But first, let's go to the Lord in Prayer.
For such a time as this, almost gracious Heavenly Father,
we come before you to praise you for the great I am that you are.
Jehovah God.
Creator of all life.
Father, we just thank you for your love.
For your grace in your mercy upon us.
Father, we have heavy hearts when it comes to what's going on in our nation and around the world.
We see so much violence.
We see so many lost.
Just out wandering around.
The Father, we are in a war.
Not just a war with the bombs.
But a war, a holy war.
Help us as your children to rise up.
And stand for your righteousness.
Give us a boldness.
Give us wisdom, Father.
We are so thankful for your word.
And Father, as I do every day, I pray,
for your hedger protection around President Donald J. Trump and his administration and their families.
And Father, I pray that before them you will place Godly counsel.
We can't make America great again until we make America Godly again.
Do we actually come home to you?
So Father, I'm excited about today's show.
I think we're going to have some fun with it.
We're going to bring common sense and God's law back to the top.
Top of mind, let's say.
So Father, bless my guest and his family.
And just bless us as we speak this morning on the air.
That all that we say and do will glorify you.
For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
Doomsday again.
I've received a report yesterday from a staff writer of something called Common Dreams.
Now, I'm an organization I'm not familiar with, never heard of.
But I don't get out much.
However, the green worshipers just do not quit.
The article was titled,
Every key climate indicator is flashing red in a new UN report.
And I sighed and I said, here we go again.
As I mentioned before, I get all kinds of emails and articles
and I just can't keep up with them.
And remember, several years ago during Obama's failed presidency,
it was an antifausal feudal member of the name of the group.
They were haters of coal and they sent me an email with an article
and they were bragging about how they'd closed another coal plant in Pennsylvania.
Of course, they wanted to come on the show and brag about their success.
However, they rubbed me the wrong way that day.
And I sent them back a note telling them to brag to all those children
whose parents now don't have a job or a way to provide for them
or brag to all those consumers whose energy bills were about to skyrocket.
Yeah, they didn't get back to me.
But then there are days when I receive an email that sparks my curiosity.
A week or so ago I received an email, a newsletter from American Stewards of Liberty.
Great people, great property rights advocates.
There was a link to an article written by a man, a Bill Peacock,
and the article was titled,
Repeal of the endangerment finding could be the biggest regulatory relief in history,
the climate change, renewable energy hoax, has cost Americans more than $1 trillion.
Hey, that alone caught my attention and made my heart beat
and with renewed excitement, but then as I read on, I was even more intrigued.
This man not only referenced common sense, but God's word.
Now that's a my authority there.
We all know that humankind will let us down every time,
and the science of the left and many politicians on the right
is certainly not founded in reality, real science, common sense, or in truth.
God's word.
Several years ago I was reading and studying the book of Jeremiah,
and when I read this verse, I was reminded of something my granny once said,
there's no new sins, just new ways of doing them.
The green worshippers are not new, and the greed of the green is not new.
When reading Jeremiah, I read out of chapter 2, verse 27,
they, their kings, their officials, their presend their prophets say to a tree
you are my father and to a stone, you are my birth, you are my mother.
So with all this said, I have to introduce to you my guest,
who I hope will not be a stranger to CSE talk radio.
Bill Peacock is policy director of the Energy Alliance,
has spent 30 plus years fighting for liberty at the local state
and national level for combining his love for theology, economics, and public policy.
He has worked in the Texas legislature with two state agencies
and for the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Bill wrote a chapter, the energy climate connection in the book,
climate and energy, the case for realism.
Bill also is the vice president of research
and the director of the Center for Economic Freedom at the Texas Public Policy Foundation,
and he has been with the foundation since February of 2005.
He also writes excellent thought on sub-stack.
I keep telling you all you need to get on sub-stack about the intersection of faith,
culture, and public policy.
In his work and writing, he focuses on various issues, including energy,
regulatory and fiscal policy, property rights.
We love that.
Public education and the relationship between faith,
free markets, and the economic prosperity.
Bill lives with his wife and son in the Texas Hill country
where they attend a reformed church.
Bill, welcome to CSE talk radio.
How are you doing this morning?
Beth, thank you so much for having me on.
I am blessed today, so I'm glad to be here.
Hold on a second.
I'm having a little trouble hearing you.
We're going to have to turn up my ears.
Sometimes I think I am getting older.
People keep telling me I am.
Okay, can you say that again, Bill?
Yeah, Beth, I am doing just fine.
I'm blessed today and grateful for being on your show.
We're having some phone trouble.
Producer, can you check with that because I cannot hear Bill?
He sounds like he's like three miles away.
Hold on a second.
Rudy's making me change headphones.
All right.
Let's see if that's any better.
How is this, is this any better?
Yeah, that's a little better.
I'm not sure if it's you or if it's me.
But we're there and we're going to head into a break.
So we'll get it all sorted out here pretty soon.
I want to thank you, Bill, for your writings.
I want to thank you for how you bring in biblical principles and laws
and how just common sense, you know, and truth and God's word.
I just appreciate that so much.
Yeah, it's something I've learned over the years.
It's really important.
I've been involved in trying to reshape public policy for years
and working mainly through educational means.
And that's good and that's important.
But, you know, we're not going to change public policy
until we've changed the hearts and minds of people.
And that takes God's word.
Amen to that.
The problem is the heart.
It's always the heart.
No matter what we're talking about, whether it's this,
which we're going to talk about, the greeny-weenies
and but our abortion and other things.
You know, policy isn't going to change it.
It's got to be changed in the heart.
I hear the music.
We're going to head into a break.
And I hope I get my ears fixed by the time we get back.
Thank you, Bill.
Hang on.
You're listening to CSE Talk Radio.
This is Beth Ann.
And we'll be right back.
The American Crisis Continues
The Reviews are in.
This is a book worth reading.
A book that lays out both the fundamental issues
and offers a solution.
The American Crisis Continues informed me about the battle
between good and evil.
It inspired me to get involved in the author's quest
to bring America home to God, family and country.
At a time in history when America is being attacked
and within by those who have a secular socialist view of America,
this book quenched my thirst for a perspective of the America I know and love.
Learn about America's founding principles.
How do the grievances in 1776 compare to us today?
Knowledge is the key defense against the vicious enemy, tyranny.

Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives.
Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building.
Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay and stubble
which are perishable?
Or have we been using gold, silver and precious stones which are permanent?
In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system.
When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn?
Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets?
Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government.
A gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth.
Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy.

This is Beth Ann. We have Bill Peacock with us.
Can you speak to me? I have a little trouble with my ears today.
Is this any better?
That is so much better. Yes, I can hear you loud and clear.
So I want to talk about this article that you wrote.
I want to go back. I also want later in the show to talk about your excellent thought
and an article that you wrote there about the climate change madness and renewables.
And again, it was nothing new. It goes back in history.
And so much of the policies and the things we're fighting today, they're not new.
Whether it's immigration, whether it's energy, nothing is new.
And so I want to talk about this article that you wrote.
I want to re-peel of the endangerment, finding and how it could be the biggest regulatory relief in history.
President Trump is doing a lot that he's not getting credit for.
And this is something that's very important.
So I'm just going to kind of turn that over to you and let you talk about this.
Sure. Well, of course, one of the things that Trump did from the very beginning of his administration
is start to try and roll back some of the administrative state.
And one of his campaign things was getting rid of the green new energy scam, as he called it.
And he did that from day one with some executive orders.
And he's really done three main types of things to do this.
The first thing he did was he went after a bunch of these subsidies that the Biden administration had just thrown out there
through the Inflation Reduction Act and other things.
And he started climbing some of those back and bringing those back in.
And then he also, another part of that was to change us.
This is getting into the details, but it's really important.
He changed how the Internal Revenue Service treated the eligibility for some of these companies
or getting some of these subsidies. And so those two things right up front made a big difference.
Then he also forced these truckers use anti-trust laws to get out of these truckers to get out of these agreements
that they had gotten into force by basically the state of California to move towards electric trucks.
And so he did those two things and nobody paid a lot of attention to them, but they were huge.
But the final thing that he started back then, but just finished doing recently, was getting this out of the endangerment finding.
So that points to think, well, what's the endangerment finding? Well, that was started actually back, unfortunately, during the George W. Bush administration,
but it was put into law during the Barack Obama administration.
And what it did was hold your breath here because we all have to hold our breath if this goes forward,
where we go forward is make carbon dioxide a pollutant, right?
So essentially it made a pollutant what we breathe out of our mouths every time we take a breath.
We breathe in oxygen and we put out carbon dioxide. And it said that is an environmental pollutant and we're going to regulate it.
And of course, go ahead.
I was going to say it doesn't take a genius to figure that out because I figured that out a long time ago that that was a hoax,
because I remembered in junior high when we studied photosynthesis and we studied what CO2 actually does,
and the greenhouses need the CO2 and all plants need CO2, need oxygen and emit CO2.
The other way around, excuse me, they take in the oxygen, they take in the CO2 and emit the oxygen.
We take in the oxygen and emit CO2. We need each other and it's a balance of nature.
It makes things go round and round and so even I who are not scientific, I could figure that one out.
And I knew right away it was a hoax. And they're still preaching this thing.
Oh, they are. And you know, I mean, you don't, the thing is you don't need to be a scientist to understand how ridiculous most of this stuff is just like you said.
For instance, I mean, the clear language in the law that governs all this for the EPA is a pollutant is something that harms people when they breathe it in.
Right. So think of carbon monoxide or, you know, mercury in the air or mercury in the water.
You know, those kinds of things are what could harm us and they should regulate, but, but not something that we breathe out naturally.
And of course, the only reason for this is because carbon dioxide is also a product when you burn coal and you burn oil and you burn natural gas.
And they, you know, the regulators have been in the environmental left have been after those for decades because they hate fossil fuels mainly because they hate profit.
Right. And they want to control the, it's not so that it's, I mean, you know, there can be some things you need to regulate and take care of, but mainly they just hate profit.
And they want to control the economy and one of the best ways to do it is to control energy.
And so they've been after fossil fuels for a long time. And that's what this was all about. And Trump said, no, we're not going to do this and we're going to get rid of this endangerment finding and he did.
He absolutely did. And it's still going, it's still ongoing. We're still working on all of this. And I know some of the regulations that he has tried to remove.
I had another guest on here a few a month ago, I guess, and she's on very regularly, but it's about radical animal rights groups.
And so it's in dealing with the USDA. And they're still the swamp inside these departments, not just USDA, but in all of them that drag their feet, kind of like Senator Thune likes to drag his feet.
And not get anything done and not and not go ahead and deregulate. So we're still fighting this. We got to keep our eyes on it. I appreciate people like you and the Heartland Institute and all those that are that are fighting the good fight.
And just appreciate it so much. I really appreciated to the way you brought scripture into your article. And I want you to talk about that a little bit.
Well, as I mentioned before, we've got to look, there's only one standard, I wish we can live our lives. And that's God's law.
And, you know, and and so what we need to do is make sure that the standards that our government puts in place, comport with God's law.
And the only way to do about that, to make that happen is to talk about God's law out in the open out in public. And that has been one of the projects of the left for well over a century is to take the word of God out of the public square.
We can have it in our hearts. We can have it in our homes. We can even have it in our churches, but we can't have it anywhere else.
And so I think it's going to say that's the great lie of the separation of church and state.
Right. So I agree that church and state need to be separate. We don't want the state running our church and we don't want the church running our government, but you can't separate God from anything.
That's right. He's made everything. Right. And so when I looked at this issue, I saw several places where we need to bring God's word to this.
And one of the first ones is Exodus 2015, which is the eighth commandment. Dow shall not steal. Right. So we, we, we seem to be in the situation where today, well, we are in the situation where if somebody walks up to you, some guy on the street walks up to you with a gun and says, give me your money.
And then you give them the money. That's theft. And if they catch the guy, they're not too good at that right now. But if they catch the guy, he goes to jail and serves time.
But if the government walks up to you with a gun, which is what they do anytime they ask you for money, because if you don't give it to them, you know, it's fines and then jail time that come after that.
And if they walk up to you with that gun and say, give me your money so I can take it and I can give it to this multi billion dollar corporation over here so that they can promote this, you know, fossil fuel destruction program with pushing renewable energies.
They say, oh, that's not theft. That's just the government doing what the government does. Well, it is doing what the government does. But I think the Bible looks at that as theft. Right.
And so that's where I started in my analysis of this. And it was a great analysis. And I'm going to say that I believe that because of what you said about God and God needs to be the foundation.
He is the foundation of this nation. We were founded with biblical principles. And I think that's why so many of them, a particular on the left, but they're still on the right.
They just want to remove God altogether. In 2012, the Democrat convention, they booed God not once, but twice. And then in the next convention in 2020, I believe it was, they decided to remove him from the pledge of allegiance.
They don't want God anywhere because that would keep them there to answer to God. They wouldn't be able to do some of the things that they're trying to do.
And some of the things that they're doing, I'm telling is scary. It's scary, Bill. It really is. I hear the music we're headed into a break. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann with Bill Peacock and we will be right back.

I want to talk about your excellent thought, Substack, and I want to push that a little bit for you.
You can go to Substack. It's free to go to substacksubstack.com, just download it on your phone or your devices or wherever.
And there's lots of people there that you can read their articles, their comments, and such as that.
And Bill has one there called excellent thought.
And I have the one in my hand that says climate change, madness, and renewables are another way rulers have made our lives more expensive.
And it goes back. It doesn't start here. You start this back in 1285.
And I want you to kind of talk about the history of this a little bit. I thought it was very interesting.
Yeah, you mentioned in your intro that I wrote a chapter in a book on climate change.
And this was an excerpt from that that I modified for the substack.
And basically what I did was I went back and looked, okay, so we've been trying to get rid of coal recently in recent years for some time.
But I wanted to go back and see how long this debate had been going on.
And it actually went back as you pointed out to the 13th century.
Back in that time, right towards in 1285 Edward I of England, not the best king they had from a perspective of property rights and protecting the people.
But anyway, he told the nobles to investigate the use of seat, what they call the sea coal back then in line counts in London.
Because as we can imagine, put out a lot of smoke and the nobles didn't like it.
But also the other problem was that the peasants were using sea coal to burn in their homes, keep their homes warm.
Well, why was this going on? Well, it's because the nobles and Edward the first had basically started shutting down the royal forest.
And so that the people couldn't get wood anymore to burn.
And so they had no other choice except to turn to this new technology, if you were, will see coal right now that they didn't have the technology the infrastructure we have today to burn it in a pretty clean manner.
And so it was really smokey and awful, but the problem began with the government, if you will, restricting the rights of the people to get access to the sources they need to keep themselves warm.
And that's where it all began.
On that man, they couldn't go into the forest and cut trees down. They could do any of that exactly.
And you know, they tried to do that here. And they still do.
And then here, while back with the gender 21 and 2030 and some of the other greener, reenie loves is they didn't even want us to barbecue in our backyard.
They had that going down. They didn't want you to use wood. They didn't want you to do this. I said, oh, it's just a repetition of what has happened in the past.
And it never ends up good for the citizens does it?
No, and that's the crazy thing is that, you know, I mean, what happens when you burn wood? Well, it puts CO2 in the air.
It's the same thing as if you burn oil or natural gas or coal or anything else, but, but under the rules for climate change rules that have been in place, they have this.
You can burn biomass and still get credit for using a renewable fuel. Well, what is biomass in trees and paper and things like that.
And so it's no better for what they're claiming to be the problem is pushing CO2. I mean, that just helps expose what they're really after is not after CO2. They're after fossil fuels.
Well, and control of the people. It's always about that. Exactly. The control. And, you know, when, when people like AOC say, well, we're going to get CO2 down to zero. Well, then there's not going to be any life.
There'll be no life on earth if you get CO2 down to zero.
Yeah. And it's like, I mean, you know, some people claim that we want to destroy the population or these radicals that say government can't do these things. And that's not true. If you look at the Bible, for instance, back in Leviticus, chapter 12 and 13, it's pretty clear that rulers have the ability to take actions that can protect the health of their people.
For instance, you can, you might be able to quarantine somebody who's sick with a disease.
Keep them from going out and infecting other people. That would be one thing. You might put regulations on the use of certain products that put real pollution up in the air.
But, of course, they've taken all this and distorted it. So we can't even put a naturally occurring gas into the air. And then, of course, they locked us all down, even if we were healthy.
I was going to say, yeah, they quarantined everyone.
Exactly. Exactly.
Which didn't do any good. If you're going to stay inside with a sick person, I mean, I raised several children. You try to keep them apart in the house, but they're still in the house.
Let them go outside. Let them go outside, breathe some fresh air and get away from the sick person in the house.
It didn't make any sense. None whatsoever. And yet, we all seem to capitulate to it.
We did. And, of course, this really, one of the major impacts of all this, whether it's COVID or we're more specifically talking about CO2 regulation and
engagement finding is it cost a lot of money. And President Trump in his order and on this issue identified that the engagement finding is probably cost us about $1.3 billion in regulatory cost over the years.
And that's a huge amount of money. But that's definitely really scratches the surface because you also have to count into that like federal energy subsidies over the years.
If you look at federal energy subsidies from 2010 projected through 2029, it's $319 billion. Right. That's on top of the $1.3 billion that are out there.
And then states have done this. Texas on its own over this similar period of time has put about $16 billion worth of subsidies out there for renewable energy.
But then you have all these costs that are imposed on the public because of that. It's not just the subsidies in Texas.
They renewables have messed up the grid so much that Texas politicians, rather than get rid of the subsidies and fix that problem, they've started subsidizing the the coal and oil or natural gas generation to tune of even more about $50 billion.
And then up in New England and then in the Pacific Northwest, they've in this helps us see that we're not out of the weeds on this yet even with President Trump's action.
But the state, the state folks have put these regulations, you know, zero emission targets, that kind of thing.
And it's been projected that through the year 2050, those are going to cost people in just those states alone, somewhere in the neighborhood of about $600 billion. Right.
And not only does it cost a lot, but it makes us poor and we can't invest and we can't provide for our families and the effects of this. And we can't take care of our health.
The effects of this go throughout the entire economy and families across America.
It does. And you know, I wrote a little poem several years ago, CO2 is good for you and try to make light of it, but at the same time get the reality of it.
And these subsidies, you mentioned in one of your articles of Turner, remember which one it was, maybe it was in both of them, about the free markets.
You know, that's the way we're supposed to be run. And that is also you related that back to biblical truths.
They say that the American experiment failed. We're going to head into a break. When we come back, I want to talk about this. I don't believe the experiment failed.
We know socialisms failed everywhere, but the American experiment did not fail. The people failed the experiment because all of a sudden we have, we have officials that want to make money and they're going that direction instead of taking care of their responsibilities with the people, which we can see right now.
With what's happening with the in Congress where they're stalling and won't pass anything. And so I want to talk about that a little bit when we come back because you seem pretty, pretty into that.
You're listening to CSC Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann with Bill Peacock and we'll be right back.

We're in the final segment of today's show. Bill, I did want to talk about the subsidies and the free markets and the things that, you know, the subsidies cost us.
I know maybe somebody getting them or the rebates that you get on your windows or your solar panels. That costs the American people. That comes out of the tax dollars.
It doesn't come out of people think, well, the government's paying for it. Well, the government doesn't make any money. They just take money.
So, you know, it has hurt farming because farmers can't farm without these subsidies anymore. They just can't do it.
We have the CRP land where they're paid to lay their land out and not farm it.
And we have a lot of things that I think disrupt and keep us from having those free markets that make us successful because I believe that the American experiment really was successful.
It's until we started tweaking it and stealing from it that it started falling apart here in the US. What do you think?
Yeah, well, you're exactly right. Of course, you know, looking at this again from a biblical perspective. And it's also, you know, this is also not just in the Bible.
It's been captured in public. The public's fierce for a long time and going back to the Declaration of Independence, right? And are available rights, you know, given us by our creator.
And so, and so God created us and he gave us, which might call rights and obligations, right?
So, when you have doubt shall not steal, we have an obligation not to take other people's property because the other side of that is that person has a right to property to private property.
It's just like God said, here's all the land. You can have it all except this plot with this tree on it. That's mine. It's not yours.
So, there we have private property in the Bible and in the second chapter of the Bible, right? And so, you take all that. And then so people are supposed to go out and fill the earth and be fruitful and multiply.
And, but in order to do that, you got it. They got to have food. They're going to have housing. They have clothes and transportation. And so God knew all that. So he set up the world so that people could exercise their rights through free exchange with others.
And be able to carry out this this program. He gave us this commandment. He gave us to be able to fill and dominate and exercise sovereignty over the earth.
But what happens when the government starts stepping in and not just reasonable controls saying, okay, I'm going to protect your property from this guy stealing it or I'm going to protect you from this guy attacking you, but, but starting to interfere with the market, the free transactions between people, it hinders our ability to go out and do this kind of thing. And that that's why you see great poverty across much of the world.
Right. I just did a research paper that I wrote in and the the freest countries in America, the ones that have the greatest amount of prosperity, the highest GDP per capita and the economic freedom are ones that were influenced by Christianity.
Right. The ones that have not been influenced by Christianity or the poorest, least prosperous, least free countries in the world. And so God designed the world to work away in a certain way. And whenever we mess with it, things don't go well for us.
They don't go well. I won't get this right because I don't have it in front of me, but I believe it was Thomas Jefferson, but I'm not positive on who it was. It's a quote from one of our founding fathers and it talks about property. It talks about homelessness. And when you have that, they, he claimed that there has been an abuse of property, of private property.
And I look at what we have here in the United States and all the homeless that California has. And it's and it's in every state. We have homeless in every state. It's just got the largest amount of it.
And then we have all this land that the government has taken. And we have these homeless and they're starving and they're sick and they're mentally ill. And we're not doing anything to take care of them.
And I think it goes back to not living up to how our government or how our nation was established. Don't you? Do you think that has something to do with it?
Well, it has everything to do with it. I mean, I mean, we have to understand now. Christ told us that we're always going to have the poor with us in that tree. But if you go back, I don't know if you were some of your reader listeners may know who Marvin Alaska is, but he wrote a book back in the 1990s called the tragedy of American compassion.
New Gingrich used to carry a copy around in his suit when he was trying to do welfare reform, saying basically the welfare reform was if you want welfare, you have to work.
And we'll help you get back to where you can work full time instead of being a welfare. And Alaska looks at the at how charity and compassion was taken care of in the 19th century is mainly through individuals and churches and nonprofit organizations.
But that wasn't good enough for the government and the advocates who wanted government to take over our lives. And so they started, they moved from charity to welfare.
And I won't get into all the details of why welfare doesn't work as well as charity. But you know, it takes the individual, it takes compassion, it takes charity out of the situation. And it's just not going to work well.
Now, and there was several years ago, I believe maybe Obama was still president, he didn't have anything to do with this, but there were some states that were making them work on welfare, you know, do little things and it didn't take long for these people to get off of welfare.
Because they actually had that feeling of accomplishment and they did some, but right now we have generations of people that have been on welfare.
I had a show yesterday where we talked about the generational farms that that passed down for I'm in the middle of Missouri, it's a farm state.
And I know people here and related to some that have passed their farms down for six to seven generations now.
And of course, the left looks down on that and some of people on the right. I don't, I admire it greatly.
And but now we have these same thing with welfare. It's one, it's what's been taught in generation after generation. They stay on welfare. It's not a, it's not a foot up. It's a foot down.
Yeah, if you talk, read things like Thomas Sol has written on this topic. I mean, if you, if you look at the condition of blacks in this country in the 1950s, for instance, in early 1960s.
I mean, yeah, there were some not good things going on with race relations, but it was getting so much better, but the economic conditions and the educational conditions of blacks in this country were rapidly improving during that time.
And all of a sudden, they passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s and, and welfare, the great society from Lyndon B. Big Johnson.
And all of a sudden, black progress stopped. These things don't work.
No, they don't. In fact, I had, I can't think of his last name, his first name has been, and I had him on the show several times.
He's in his 80s, get close to 90 now, and he talked about their schools when they have their own little communities, their own schools, and he talked about so many black women and men with it were successful that you never hear anything about them.
And they've tried to strip it all away from them, because they got to keep them down and keep them voting for them and control, control, control.
We're out of time, Bill. Thank you so much for being a part of the show today. I appreciate it so much. Thank you for all that you're doing there to bring America.
No, no, no, bless you. You've been listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Anna. It takes all of us to bring America home.
For such a time as this, we know that the heart of a nation takes on the heart of its people. If the people have turned from God, the nation is doomed in sin. God is in control of all nations and their leaders. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The future of this nation is relying on the bended knees of the people, God's people.
Will you accept this challenge to sacrifice five minutes a day to kneel and to pray? For such a time as this, Queen Esther was put in place by God to save her people.
You have that same obligation now. Will you humble yourselves and pray, ask forgiveness and trust in our God too, heal our land, and bring America home.

Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty? Do we weep for liberty which we have lost? Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged?
Liberty. Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior or political views.
Today we seem to want restrictions, government, micromanaging our lives, but do we realize the cost?
Alexander Hamilton once stated, there is a certain enthusiasm and liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism.
As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others, we must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free.
Visit csctalkradio.com where Beth Ann puts enthusiasm and common sense back into American liberty as she brings America home.
