Double Survivor (Fran Drescher)

During this emotional, inspiring, (and still incredibly funny) episode, the incomparable Fran Drescher (The Nanny!) opens up about how she turns pain into purpose: surviving uterine cancer and the struggle of attempting to convince doctors of the pain she was feeling; managing herself and her emotions through two divorces, having a gay ex-husband, and living through the trauma of the sexual assault and violence she suffered throughout her life. We discuss how she has recently started/ and is crushing stand up comedy, the comedians who inspire her, and the extremely important work she is doing with CancerSchmancer.org.  Fran shares her thoughts about sex toys, finding fantasies to get your mojo running, her mother catching her with her hands "down there" as a child and how much she loves penises, now and forever. We discuss how "Women of a Certain Age" DO still love sex, why it may be beneficial to have "a man for every chapter," and Fran gives us a life altering tip from her Shaman on self care.
