It's a happy Friday. Indeed the Dow is surging. Oil prices have dropped by 10 to 13%.

1:02And of course this comes on the heels of President Trump announcing a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon and Iran declaring that the straight of Hormuz, straight Hormuz, as Chuck Schumer says, is completely open and ready for full passage. I'm admittedly a little confused. All right. So I'm glad you're saying that because I called several people this morning because I was confused as well. I don't think they had control of it. How can they open it if they're not the ones closing it? All right. So I figured this out. I called several different people including how we car and including Matt Boyle who's going to join the show at 12.30. And sometimes you just got to throw it out there to people. You got to say, hey, and Taylor's what I appreciate about you. You're not afraid to say, I don't get it. I'm confused. You know, like that one kidding class who raises their hands and says, I'm lost. And then the teacher starts all over and everybody goes, thank God, because I had no idea what was going on. I was confused by this too because when Trump announced, hey, Iran is declaring that the

2:06straight is fully open and ready for passage and ready for business. I was like, sounds like good news, but, but how are they declaring it? Because weren't we the ones in charge of it? Here's what I figured. This blockade, as a lot of people have missed over the last few days, was not meant to prevent ships that were coming from places other than Iran or going to places other than Iran from going through. So if you were a ship and you were coming from a different country and you were going to a different Gulf country that was not Iran, you were technically allowed to go through Iran. Iran has been feeling that pressure. Despite what Chuck Schumer said, Chuck Schumer said that the straight of hormones is a cash cow for Iran that they're richer than ever. They're more powerful than ever. They're closer or, you know, want a bigger nuclear bomb now more than ever and that this whole thing was Operation Epic Failure. But Iran has been

3:07feeling the pressure of losing this money every single day. And like I pointed out last week, when you make it so clear by dangling it out there all the time that your only piece of leverage is this straight and you're using it as your main chip, then you kind of give away the game. Because then Trump and all these other military experts are going, all right, so as long as we just get control of that thing, then they really are bleep out of luck. Then they're up a creek without a paddle. And so while other ships were allowed to go through any Iranian ships or any ships that were coming from Iran, they would send back the US Navy is hungered down there and they would say, you got to turn around. You're not getting through here. And the ships would say, okay, got it. They actually have audio, a Sencom released audio of them talking to certain ships saying, you are not coming through here. And then the captains or whatever, I don't know what you're called an an oil ship would say, all right, we'll do a Mac around. So when I saw the news today that the the street is open for passage, I was confused. And then Trump said this,

4:10and this is very important. I think Taylor. He said first, he said Iran has just announced that the straight of Iran is the straight of Iran is fully open and ready for full passage. Thank you. And then he said the straight of hormones is completely open and ready for business and full passage. But the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran only. Until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete, this process should go very quickly and that most of the points are already negotiated. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. In other words, other ships are going to Iran is not going to try to stop these ships from coming through. And they're doing that, I think, to gain some good will here because they're desperate as Pete Hegseth and Trump have been saying for a deal or some sort of the last few days have really put them in a bad spot. But Trump is not going to stop putting pressure on Iran. Like it's not as if they all of a sudden are going to be able to send all their ships through. So he's really what he's done here with this move as he's flipped it on its head.

5:13Like that was their big piece of leverage. And they were saying, hey, we're going to let certain ships through and we're going to charge certain ships a toll to go through and we're going to put two million dollar tolls on each ship. And Trump has said, no, not not only are you not going to do that. These ships are going to be able to go through and you're actually going to be the only ones who are not allowed to send your ships through. So yeah, I think it's worth at least for today. And here's my rule with this oil stuff. I don't get too high and I don't get too low. Yeah, I could come on here and be like, the Dow is surging is down 10%. Let's go, MAGA, baby. And maybe I will do a little bit of that with map oil because it's Friday and why not? You got to celebrate the wins. But these things are very fluid. These things are very fragile. So it could change very quickly. But I will say I'm laughing at that cut from Chuck Schumer that we played yesterday where he was like, the straight of four moves is now more profitable for Iran than ever before. It's a cash cow. And I was thinking to myself, how can you say that with a straight face when you know from Sencom unless as Chuck Schumer, you're telling me you don't believe

6:15what Sencom is putting out there. And that's kind of a whole different story. It's kind of a whole different can of worms. We're going to talk to map oil about this. And I open my mouth. And I say, Taylor, do you see this thing about? And he goes, okay, smoking a packet day, Corella Deville. It's like the sixth Corella Deville. This is going to bring back the old rumor about me with the Virginia slims. This sounds like a smoker's smokeless voice. I do love a raspy voice, though. I've never had one. And so today I get to pretend you know, you don't want to talk about them because it's Friday. And like I said, I like to have a little fun. There's a lot of controversy. Not if you live in the real world and you're not chronicly online and you have a life in which case you would never know this is going on. But luckily for you guys, I am there for you. 8:25into this stuff over some of the construction that Trump is proposing. And this has to do with our poll questions. So we'll continue to talk about it. But I wanted to start with the arch like the Trump it is being called. It's this triumphal arch that Trump wants to build in DC. And this is kind of a good news bad news day for Trump on the construction front. On one hand, a judge is saying he cannot build the ballroom. We'll get into the reasons why. I think they're bogus. But you know, that's kind of an obvious call out for me. And then on the other hand, he's kind of gotten the stamp of approval on this arch. But there are people who are proactively protesting the arch and they're mad about it. And I love. I've told you guys this before. My favorite form of protest. It's not the signs. It's not the lawns. It's not the pins. It's nothing like that. I want to hear from you. And I think that art is the way to change hearts and minds. And I think that a lot of liberals out there agree with me. So here's the latest. There's

9:28a group of people. They're in pink shirts. I've noticed that would Democrats. They love the pink shirts. And they are singing in protest of Trump's arch. It's supposed to be. I wish I could be the tell me person. Because I always love that. I love the person who's just given the. You're going to say that every time I play that. Just give me encouragement. Here we go. That that should be named. Bring it over now. Little fat. Now. Yeah, they weren't singing that though. Unfortunately, I think she really they should really try to do that at every single one. Because Taylor, that's the kind of song or the kind of chant or anthem that works in any situation. Easy to grasp. Because they're always on the 90 side or sorry, Trump's always on the 90 side. They're always on the 10 side. But it's still a side. Which

10:31side are you on? Are you on the side of regular people? Or are you on the side of the of us of the crazies? So this is their song in protest of the arch. This is cut one please tell me. This is what insanity looks like getting out there during the work day, which I don't think is a hurdle for most of these people to protest an arch that isn't even close to being built yet. If we're being realistic, I mean, all we've seen right now is renderings. So I don't think this is Trump does tend to make things pretty happen pretty quickly. But even so, it's like with everything going on in the world, this is the topic. This is the protest. Do your is an arch that we were not even in the process of building it. What do you think of the arch? I like it, but I agree with the concern because I've only been to DC a few times. My brother, my younger brother actually is a graduate and a lump of Catholic university. So I've been there a few times and I thought it was really one of the things I really like about DC, which I think is really cool, is if you're at one of the monuments, you can see pretty much all the other important monuments from where you are. They have a lot of strict height requirements for buildings besides monuments,

12:36so that you keep that sight line when you're in DC. So if you're at the Lincoln Memorial, you can see the Washington Monument. You can see it's really cool. You don't have to bring out your map. You're like, oh, we want to go see the White House. Oh, there it is. And I like that landscape of it. So I think the concerns that are being raised, the legitimate ones about, hey, if it's right here, it's going to block. I think they said it's going to block the Robert E Lee memorial. And if you're there, you can't see maybe the Arlington. I don't know. They said that there's a sightline problem where it could block another monument that I think is totally legitimate. I don't think it has to be, I know how Trump's mind works. He wants it to be the biggest, he wants it to be the biggest arch in the world. But I would prefer it just to be a beautiful arch that doesn't hinder the sightline of other monuments. I don't think he's going to be beating the St. Louis arch. Well, if this one goes up, yeah, they said it's going to be no. That one you need an elevator to go up. I think that you're talking like ornamental arches. Yeah, maybe that one isn't under the category.

13:41But whatever he said, he's yeah, he's working it in. So it's going to be the biggest one. I don't know. He probably just wants to beat France. Like, that's probably what it is. But I'd rather be able to see everything. And they're saying now to her that they're going to have stuff on top of it. And that to me is always a weasel move where it's like, Oh, we're the tallest one in the world, because we stuck a big rod up the top. You know how they do that? I don't like that. I don't go for that. I know what you're doing. And I'm not impressed with that. So I don't have a problem with them tweaking it. You know, it's okay to have a couple of minds in there, a couple of couple of disagreements to get it just right. But as far as seeing it up there and seeing it be built, and you know what, I have another thing on this, but we're running long. We're going to come back to this in the next segment. Okay. We're talking arch today. It's so easy to put things off. I do it all the time. I was actually at an event a couple of weeks ago. And this woman said to me, So what do you think? 18:49was something where the hits just kept on coming. Like it wasn't great news. And then Trump brought up the arch and I was like, I don't know if this is a good time for this. But then I thought it's never it's like of taking a vacation. There's never a good time really to build something big and try to sell it to people. It's like, hey, we need this bill. But you do need to create things. You need to keep creating monuments and art and buildings and landscape and and you know, you need to keep adding to the culture and to the history. And while it would be easy to say, hey, I'm not going to build that right now because I've got my my hands full with x, y, or z. Or it's not going to look good to people that I'm working on this piece of construction when this is going on. I actually think that that's not the right mentality to have. You have to keep building and moving forward and imagine if in the olden days they had decided not to build things because times were tough. There would no there would be no monuments to go see. Crump confirmed straight of horror moves completely open to all shipping traffic. And he took to his social media account on true social to make the public confirmation. He did also note that the blockade is remaining in place for Iran. Joining us now to talk about this and the plunging price of oil is Matt Boyle from Breitbart. Matt, give me your reaction to this news. Yeah. Well, look, I think what this demonstrates is that everybody who put a lot of trust in President Trump throughout this whole process, throughout the war and throughout the negotiations with the Iranians and so on and so forth, they were right, right? At what point do we stop betting against President Trump? Clearly, the president knows what he's doing when it comes to

20:52these things. Right? The president is very much focused. Sorry, I'm in the New York City and they're sirens driving around me. It's very loud here. But anyway, point is that clearly, the president knows what he knows what he is doing when it comes to world geopolitical affairs, when it comes to US military engagement, when it comes to deals. And maybe at some point, it's time for everybody to stop, you know, undercutting him at every turn. Right? Like, trust the president, right? And I think that those people who did trust the president throughout this whole thing are being proven right. And I think those people that are being critical of him throughout the whole thing are being proven wrong yet again. There we go again. Yeah, trust in Trump. I that that's usually my motto in most cases. Matt, I did want to ask you though, so do I have this right? It's like, the straight is open for any vessels that aren't either going to Iran or coming from Iran. And so that's why they're still pressure on Iran right now to come to the table and make a deal. So when when we're hearing that Iran is opening up the straight or

21:56they're declaring the straight open, is that them just trying to kind of get in the good graces of Trump or or make it more likely that this deal comes together? I think that the US blockade is still in place when it comes to Iranianships and whatnot. That's kind of what the president has said. And that's what they've said. Yeah. And that's it's just a maximum pressure campaign here on making the Iranians agree to the terms that the US has laid out. And the president has said to multiple reporters this morning that the Iranians have apparently agreed to all of this stuff. Like no more enrichment of uranium. No more nuclear stuff. They've agreed to give up nuclear weapons. So we'll see as the process moves forward towards the deal eventually and they're offing. And there are some reports even out there that the president himself might travel to Islamabad to Pakistan where the negotiations started last weekend with the vice president leading them

22:56to finalize the deal himself. And so if that's the case, there's a lot of promising news here that this thing is you know coming to a rapid and quick end where again all of the US objectives were achieved here. We wiped out the Iranian regime. We took out their nuclear program. We took out their missile capabilities. We just decimated their navy and their force. And then they have agreed to all the US terms apparently. And at the end of it all, we're getting the straight open with no conditions, right? Like so the fact of the matter is is that at what point was the president wrong during all of this, right? Like the president was right on everything, right? Like so again, that's why I say if this pans out the way that the president and things the same and the way that things are looking right now, this is going to be a massive win for the United States. And it comes right ahead of the president's trip to China where he's going to be meeting with Xi Jinping and Beijing later in May. And we'll see where that goes, right?

23:59Like and then who knows? Maybe there's a deal to be had with the Russians and the war in Ukraine. Somewhere they're shortly thereafter, who knows? So the fact of the matter is is that the president is just on fire. And the people that have been critical of them, I think have just been dead wrong, the whole thing, right? The president said he was going to do this in four to six weeks. Well, he did it in just under six weeks, right? Like the ceasefire was announced two days before the six week mark. And just massive credit to President Trump. He deserves it all. Yeah, and I have to ask, I know you have a great relationship with the vice president, JD Vance. And he seems to have been tasked over the last few days of kind of reaching out to those voters who were unhappy with this decision to enter this conflict with Iran and explain to them how, yeah, this might be an issue that you don't agree with, but please don't forget about all the other things that we've been accomplishing. I'd like your reaction to how he's been able to navigate that and kind of what it shows about JD Vance's political future. Well, I think that JD

25:00Vance is a really effective communicator. I think that's a big part of the reason why President picked them to be vice president in the first place. He's also somebody who deeply, deeply understands the coalition that a unique coalition that President Trump assembled in the 2024 comeback, which is even more hardcore, populist working class than the coalition that elected Trump the first time in 2016. You know, the majority of Spanish voters, majority of Catholics, right? We see them back and forth right now with the Pope and with the Italian Prime Minister. And I think all that stuff is going to sort itself out. But the fact of the matter is that JD Vance, of course, is a Catholic, right? So he has unique credibility in that respect. He's coming out with a new book, focused on his conversion to Catholicism. And he's somebody who comes from that working class world, like, you know, his personal story is extremely powerful. So in addition to all of the things that we, you know, talk about about his current skill set, which is pretty incredible. He also has this

26:06personal story that, again, keeps him grounded and connected with those people and has unique credibility with them to be able to communicate with them. And I think, you know, I get it that there's always palace intrigue and, you know, part of Ireland talk or whatever about this person or that person for 2028. Look, JD Vance is the odd on favorite to be the next president in the United States in the 2028 election. He's probably going to be the Republican nominee and probably going to be the president, right? Like so the fact of the matter is that there's a lot of things that have to happen between now and then. He has to decide to run. We have to see if anybody serious runs against him in both the primary and the general election. But the, you know, things are looking very, very good for JD Vance. I would say at this point, I think he is uniquely positioned, has the skill set necessary and the personal story necessary to be able to do this. And we start, we continue to see over and over again, every time he gets engaged on something,

27:07it works, right? Like so, but JD Vance talks going in Islamabad with the Iranians and set the framework for this eventual deal that seems to be in the offing and coming together. So, you know, he's also leading the anti-fraud task force. He's instrumental, I think, to the president's efforts. And I think the future is as bright as ever for the vice president. Now, speaking of the vice president, he once praised you as the most well-sourced journalist in DC. And that was on the heels of recommending that Jeff Bezos hire you at the Washington Post. I would be remiss if I didn't ask the most well-sourced journalist in DC, what is coming down the line here when it comes to Eric Swalwell and his best friend in the world, Senator Rubin Galliego. Now, we know that Eric Swalwell, that five women have come forward and accused ex-Congressman Swalwell of sexual assault rape and other instances of inappropriate behavior.

28:08But GOP Rep Luna is accusing Senator Rubin Galliego of misconduct. He's obviously playing the, I didn't know anything card map, but what are you hearing in DC? And is this just the tip of the iceberg? Yeah, so first of JD Vance's words, not mine, right? So I'm very honored that he thinks that. So, you know, I just work hard, right? Like I taught those many people as I can. As for Swalwell, obviously he's already resigned from Congress and dropped out of the governor's race in California. And he's in serious trouble, right? Like there are apparently multiple criminal investigations that are open. The US are the district attorney in Manhattan. Alan Bragg is apparently open in the investigation as certain allegations were seeing the Justice Department beginning to look at things were seeing other people. So I don't know where that all goes. He's in serious trouble. I would not want to be Eric Swalwell right now, right? Like it does appear as though there's a very serious, serious stuff to be investigated and

29:08possible charges. I don't know. So we'll see. As for Rubin Galliego, I don't think anything's been proving yet. So, you know, I want to hold our horses here before we go too crazy with it, but that being said, you know, there's a lot of smoke there, right? Like, you know, he of course is very good friends with Congressman Swalwell. And you know, he did a lot of different things with him. You know, I met Rubin Galliego one time a year or so ago and they seemed like a nice enough guy. So I just don't know. And so maybe, maybe not, maybe there is something to it, maybe there isn't. But you know, there's a lot of smoke there, right? Like it's so we're seeing a lot of allegations made. The former speaker Kevin McCarty came out and said something yesterday I saw as well. So we'll see as the investigations proceed. Of course, Rubin Galliego denying anything wrong, like, but so did Swalwell. So does anybody in that situation. Yeah, hold on once again, there. Cause I want to work in another question. Because Stephen Miller was on television. I think

30:09he was on Fox with Jesse Waters the other day. And he said that a lot of these Democrats have blackmail. And that's kind of the point is that they're very easily convinced to do one thing or to follow the company line because there's blackmail on them. Do you buy that? And probably yeah. So I mean, like, look how fast they came out against Swalwell. But you don't think they all knew about that before, right? Like, why did they do what they did when they did it? Right? Because he was a threat to their power structure when he was running for governor of California and that he was potentially splitting the vote on them to the point where there might be two Republicans heading into the runoff for governor of California. And then all of a sudden, swiftly on Friday night, the story breaks and by Monday, he's out of the race. Right? Like, it's like, where did that come from? These incidents were supposedly happened years ago. You don't think that the Democrat leadership knew about this stuff? Of course they did. Right? Like, of course they did. Right? Like, there was some reports out there that political

31:11was even investigating it when Swalwell was running for president when he's 2020. Right? Like, and there's, you know, the fact of that, I don't buy that for a second, but the Democrat leadership didn't know about this Nancy Pelosi. I came Jeffries, Chuck Schumer. Of course they did. Right? Like, and so why did they weaponize it and take them out? Because again, he was a threat to their ability to control the governor's rate of California, which was their most important state. Right. That's why when he was a state blue district house member, they didn't care. They allowed him to do whatever he wanted. It's when he stepped up into the bigger line like that he, that they decided to roll this out weaponizing it. Yeah. He didn't know his limitations. That would have been his greatest strength. It's just saying, wow, it's amazing. I've gotten this far. I should probably just hang tight. Matt, I want to ask you quickly here. I only have time for like a minute more. What is your take on the redistricting effort in Virginia? Barack Obama is now hitting the campaign trail. He's, he's urging voters to vote heavy for the,

Not family issues, I think, but just personal decision that his children, his two sons are at the age where I don't know if he's having if they're having kids. Maybe he's a grandfather. I'm not sure, but it sounded like they're going to need him in his help a little bit more. So he has decided that he is resigning and the announcement followed his testimony before the House Appropriation Committee, subcommittee on Homeland Security regarding the ice budget. This again is from Breitbart. And one of the things that he talked about, which you will not hear about if you tune in to the mainstream media, they have no interest in this, but this was also at the same time this

36:20resignation came hours after he announced during this hearing the largest Chinese illegal alien gift card fraud in history. Take a listen to this sound cut cut five please. What we've found is that it's key for HSI to have the ability to work international and that is with our partnership.
