Now the strawberry was picked on his family farm near Central Israel in February. Now this was actually in February of last year. It's been stored in a freezer ever since then. He said, we wanted to wait a year for the results. He kept it in the freezer for a year. It's no longer as pretty as it was. It's a local variety of strawberry apparently that tends to grow in a hefty size. Hefty means large. He said the record setting Frut has shrunk to about half the size of it was a

13:44year ago. The previous record for strawberry was grown in Japan in 2015 and that was 250 grams. So this is almost 40 grams more. Mr. Ariel says he jumped up and down, laughing and singing when he got the news. We were very happy to be in the Guinness Book of World Records. So I guess they wanted to keep the fruit and the freezer until the record came in. So what will they do with it now? I don't know. But this prompts me. This caused me to investigate some of the larger fruits in the world. Now the largest naturally grown fruit on a tree is the jack fruit. And the current record for a jack fruit is 42 kilograms. Oh my gosh. Now the giant pumpkin is the heaviest and largest fruit grown on earth by humans.

14:53And I guess the record there was 1190 kilograms. Now this is a cultivated fruit. So they intentionally take the seeds from the biggest ones. They fertilize them. Then they keep going every year collecting the seeds from the largest pumpkins. That's Kārābātās. And they have competitions where they actively grow these things and harvest them around around Halloween in the fall. Now two years ago I was home in Canada during the fall. And I went to a valley called the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia and was able to take a nice a fall trip to some of the farmer's markets in that area. And that was really nice to see and they had huge pumpkins. We went apple picking. There's you know Nova Scotia is actually

16:01quite good for fruit. The gardens grow very well there. Things like cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, apples, pears can grow. Not good for citrus.
