Good morning. We're doing good. How are you?
Listen to that energy. Oh my God. This is everything that I was praying for. You guys would come in here. You'd have real honest to God energy.
Oh my God. You so delivered it.
What about this energy? How about this energy?
I agree with you. It wasn't just me.
I got to come clean with you right in the very beginning. I love the way that the show is really unafraid to talk about the energy of an upper power. In other words, a universe. God.
And the thing about it is that it really influenced me to do some research on the number of people who go up to that podium with the Oscars and thank God, but you've never seen anything after that.
But yet on your show, we see the evidence of what it's all about. And that's why I find duck dynasty the revival so, so empowering.
Oh, that's so sweet. I love that so much. You're certainly right. We definitely believe the joy of the Lord is our strength and our faith is the number one important thing in our life.
So I'm thankful that that comes through on our show and that you feel that that's really cool. And what an interesting thing to think about. You're right. A lot of people do say that when they went in a war, but it's the life that comes after those moments that reflect where your hearts are.
So I think that's a really interesting thing to pull out now for the two of you. Christian and the thing is is that what how do you deal with all those cameras around you?
Because I'm part of the elevation church family. We've got those cameras everywhere. How do you deal with that? Because it's always getting my attention. I see a camera move. All of a sudden, I'm looking.
That's a great question. Yeah, I feel like they also did a really good job at a not really letting, you know, you know, they were there. So it was not as in your face. Maybe it's something like out of church service or something like that.
But yeah, we just kind of went with it and rolled with it. It was fun to get to do with all of our family and lots of laughs.
So it's easy to kind of, you know, turn a blind eye to it when you're doing fun stuff with the family for us to, you know, we started filming a TV show, whenever I was about 10 years old, you know, that was on the outdoor.
I had a time I was 14. We were on A&E. We filmed that dynasty for more than 10 seasons. We filmed for five years, 12 seasons.
And then now we're back on the revival, but throughout that whole time did podcasting for almost still doing it eight years. And so really our life has been in front of a camera.
And so Christian, yeah, he didn't grow up like that. But ever since he's come into, you know, our family and been around, there's kind of just always cameras. And I feel like we've gotten so used to it that it feels natural.
And you put it that way to elevation. Like you kind of just get used to it, which it's really funny. I just saw a video from elevation.
And it was like, who got this guy camera? And it was a guy getting really excited during worship. He was videoing.
I was like, that is so funny. But speaking to the authenticity of a moment, like, you know, the cameras are kind of just like right alongside of our family and been that way for so long that you don't feel that sense of needing to like turn it on. It's just kind of always.
Well, see, and one of the things that you guys are proving is the same thing that Stephen Fertig will talk about. It says, you don't have to talk about it. Just wear it. Just let me see your energy. And I'm going, yeah, that's it. I'm getting from duck dynasty. I feel your energy. You don't have to say anything, but we feel your presence.
That's awesome. That's so cool.
What is that though to bring to the congregation? Because you guys are actively involved with the church. I mean, this is no joking matter. This is something that is a major part of your life.
Yeah, no, I mean, really it's our life. We just live it. My grandpa would always say faith family ducks in that order to him. He lived very much so like for God for his family and then duck hunting with his passion. And I think that didn't necessarily trickle down in that we all hunt ducks. That's not really my thing.
But the legacy of faith being first family, you know, being next and then whatever you're passionate about coming behind that. And then, you know, your faith and your family influences all that you do. And so that's kind of how we all live our life. But yeah, we're certainly plugged into our local churches. And I think that's what's so special about even speaking to the camera thing.
Our life is well known to a lot of people. And we have a reality show and all this stuff. But we live relatively normal lives as far as the church on Sunday. Have, you know, cooker mills and evening like we just we live a relatively normal life because even though our life changed on the outward, like the things that matter stayed the same. And I think that's really important. I think that's the key to not, you know, losing your mind when you get famous is not, you know, changing everything about your life.
Please do not move. We'll be right back with Sadie and Christian Robertson Huff.

Duck dynasty the revival on A&E. We are back with Sadie and Christian Roberts enough. One of the hidden messages of duck dynasty the revival is the fact that you also love the land.
And that we are in this generation where people want to chop up the land. They want to move this land. They want to put this there. And it's it's like you are showing us.
Look, you can love the land and get along with the land. You don't have to take down the land. Just live and do it in the moment of now.
I think most people that want to do that have never actually been out in the woods and spend time out in the woods.
There is something peaceful about it and there's something that I do think brings you closer to God being out in nature that he created.
I would say that people that want to do away with that and build certain things might not spend much time out in the outdoors.
Yeah, because your grandfather really planted a message all those chapters ago in the way that sure he talks about ducks and everything like that.
But do you realize and I can't be the only one that does this when I see the ducks out here on this pond that's in my forest.
I look up there in the sky and who do I think of your dad what mess or your grandfather what did your grandfather bring it as a message that's what's planted.
You see how he did that he used everything around him to reach us beyond his point.
Yeah, I know that's so good and I will say I know we talked about like a generation that doesn't necessarily love the land.
But I'm so thankful that I've been you know coming under the umbrella of like my both sides of grandparents loving land in different ways.
Like my pebble fill he was always talking about like going outside in creation and worshipping the creators and how like if you are hiding your
and creation you will look up and like worship the creator which I said thankful for my grandpa on the other side was a business man.
And he was not necessarily in the woods at the time, but literally on the land that we live on is land that he bought and that he planted the trees that we are
literally living under the shade of and so coming from both sides of grandparents who you know really planted something that grew literally trees but also more than that legacy.
We see the beauty of that and like okay what what are we leaving for our kids and again it's like going out and doing something bigger than yourself
and pointing people to something bigger than yourself.
See this is every bit the reason why I loved your grandfather because in 1997 we planted 1700 trees in this forest.
And I put in there said this is not for me. This is beyond me and to see and to hear you talk about it now.
Oh my God you have no idea how much your grandfather again has touched me and given us purpose in our reasons for growing forward.
That's so cool. I love that so much.
I was with your mom and dad a couple of weeks ago they got a little giddy on me when we were talking about that grand baby.
Oh my God you're your father. Oh my God. It was so funny to sit there and listen to him talk about that.
That's so awesome. I know the grand baby to me dad like the sweetest sweetest man.
I made him softer. I was like dad you were not like this when I was a kid but hey that's fine.
I'm glad I'm glad that the grandpa era has welcomed you into your soft side.
But yeah the girls melt my dad. We have three girls. They're up to 11 and they're the best grandparents.
They mom and dad both they've just totally do like I guess what should I say they just dived into this new season of life and it's been so sweet to see.
How are you guys able to do the acting as well as the podcasting and then come on the show and act so natural.
Of course the acting and the podcasting we do become actors but on your show I don't feel like you're acting that you are giving me an authentic you.
Yeah I think for me at least like I said we've been doing this for so long that I don't feel that like when a camera is done I think used to.
You see a red light you like turn it on it's like it's so quick to just be there.
But when you're around it for so long and not only that but your whole families in it you're kind of accountable to being yourself you know because if any of us acted like.
Anything other than ourselves when you're with your family who roast you like bro what are you doing everybody.
I'm not accountable to be authentically themselves and again like seeing how my grandpa my my grandma my uncle like uncle size such a fan favorite but like they set the tone for like truly living authentic and living themselves and.
The world responded in such a positive way of receiving them even though they're so different than so many people but people just like whenever people are.
Confidently themselves and I think that was like a message that they lived out super well and now we're getting to step into that and be challenged for that as well so inspiring please come back to this show any time in the future the door is always going to be open for you.
Thank you so much we so appreciate it will you be brilliant today okay you too.
