2:08About 20 minutes ago, my wife calls me. She's like, come downstairs, quick. So I run down and says, you know, I'm thinking some happened. I'm thinking my son is mangled up or something, but I don't hear him crying. She's like, looking to backyard. I'm looking. I don't see nothing. And I'm like, wait a minute. Is that a tiger? Is that a tiger in my backyard? No, for real. It looked like a baby tiger. It was a bobcat, like a for real bobcat in my backyard. I have no idea how he got in the backyard. It's fenced in. I just know I won't be taking a trash out at night anymore. What's it? I'm telling you, it looked like a baby tiger, baby lion. And I looked it up and you know, the suburb that I'm in, there's been like thousands of bobcat sightings over the years. And they say they come out at night and they don't bother anybody. I wish I would have got a picture of it, but yeah, man. He was a real tough guy. You were trying to domesticate him.

3:10I thought about that. Yeah. Just having one, just having one to show. Yeah. Sitting on my lap. That'll help you do it to pick up all people. I had a tweet this weekend. Man, I want to go play basketball. So I'm playing with this kid, you know, seven o'clock in the morning. We're playing. And these dudes just pull up some on bikes, some in many vans. They pull up on the outdoor court and they put their net up. And I'm like, hey, like, man, we we're playing here. And the guys like, yeah, I know, but we work during the week. And the park is always packed with kids at night. And we have, you know, families and kids. So we don't get a chance to play pickleball during the week. This our only time. And it gets too hot later on. I'm like, okay, and he was like, like, he really was putting the net up like, like they have the outdoor court. They have the pickleball net, like on the side.

4:13And then they just literally walked on the court. We playing one on one. They walk on the court and just like start setting the net up. And I'm like, hey, come on, man. And he's like, no, but we worked during the week. So we just are only time to play. And if we wait too much long, because I'm in Texas, it's still hot. It's like it's going to be too hot to play. But I'm like, can you wait till we finish playing? And the guy is like, no, I'm like, come on now. Let me let you guys be playing pickleball. And I come out on the court with some of my boys and my brothers. And I start dribbling. Y'all, y'all went like that with you. Then they was like, uh, I was like, yeah, y'all were called to HOA on me. If I did that. So definitely would mean pulling up with these dreds, man. So I tweeted it. At least to my worries. I tweeted it and I think it anything of it. Last I looked, it had like 1.1 million views on Twitter. And I guess a lot of people can get the same issues with pickleball players. There's so many people commenting. That's why we're viral.

5:13But they're just talking about how pickleball players are taken over the courts and the gems. I know they're taking over the gems here. But yeah, there's a lot of people that have issues with pickleball players. And then I realized cyclists. People feel like cyclists and pickleball players are very entitled. So anyway, I'm going to leave my comment to myself about the demographics of the pickleball players. They got really just poor pickleball players. No, not even that is just the boomers, man. They just they they debo everything. Man. I have no disrespect any boomers. But that's how y'all move. Our people. If I would domesticate that bobcat, just change it up on the on the court. I'm telling you. Anyway, let's talk about Patrick Gongba. He had a breakout season. He had every little under four points of game as a freshman. Came back as a sophomore average 10 points.

6:14And firmly put himself on NBA radars. I thought he was a first round pick. I thought he was even a guy that could have played himself into the late lottery. I know he had a foot injury right when he was like gaining his momentum. But what are your thoughts on Gongba's breakout season? I thought he was going to stay in the draft at the same time. I understand why he took his name out. Like you mentioned before, the foot injury was very unfortunate. I think he would have been a top 20 pick. And again, we talked about teams needing a footer or just really a big size. And there's like no way he would have felt past Atlanta. And I was a big Jaden Quayne's fan. One knee, he goes to San Antonio. And they're going to obviously register him. But I really thought that Gongba was going to stay at the draft. Or as you enter the draft and at least that's what it's saying.

7:18I think he's going to be in position to play himself into being a lottery pick this year. I think he is Duke's best draft eligible player. And I think the breakout season is upon us. And I know where I've talked about before. Before you say, what does this guy have the average to be a lottery pick? Or what would you like to see? I want to see him dominate. Like I really want to get the opportunity though. I think he should get the opportunity. I think that while Duke has a lot of depth, like he is their best low-cost player. And I think the guards are going to be good. The wings are going to be solid. But I think they should absolutely play for him. For sure. Because he can pass. Not only can he score on a box. Like he's a really good passer. Go ahead. Yeah, he can definitely pass. I'm not saying the Warriors should have taken him. But I thought he would have been the guys that they would have given a long

8:21hard look at with their lottery pick. I know they're happy with Yaxxel and the board right now. I said he would have went ahead of him. But I thought that would have been like a really, really strong option. What's your Skyrim report? So for Gunball, I have very good pass, especially in 5-out. And then you saw it. Well, he played with a low-post presence. And Cameron Boozard had the high low-connection going very good. He has cutters and back doors. I think he's a really good passer. Good footwork. I think he has good touch around the basket. I think he has pretty good lateral quickness for 6-11-260. I think he's skilled on the block. Shot blocking improved last year. But I think he can still improve as a shot blocker. Initially, I think the free throw shooting he shot above 75% of the freshmen. The number dropped to sub 70 and a sophomore. Got to figure out where he is as a free throw shooter.

9:21And then also, I think he has very good hands and a large catch rating. So I want to some like wire receiver stuff. You throw it around the basket, near the basket, in traffic. He's going to catch the ball. I think he put the ball on the floor. So I like how he gets out of his screens really quickly. So screen gets to the basket. And he's like a vertical lot thread. Like he just takes so many boxes. We just need to see him healthy. And I want to see him dominate. You think the injury comes to our hands a little bit overrated? I think they're valid. I mean, you know, we can tell you tell me about somebody that size with a foot injury. You know, a red flag is, you know, going to appear. But he didn't come back from that foot injury. He played in a tournament. So I don't know the exacts of it. I believe he got hurt as well. In high school, I apologize. I'm wrong. So again, the doctors, the NBA, they're going to comb his medical records with fine tooth.

10:23Come, but it is a concern. But I like I said, it was good that he was able to come back and play for it. And try to help them, you know, it made to the lead eight. I played play decent in a tournament, but he obviously had lost some of the momentum that he had developed before he got hurt. I think they're a little overblown. I mean, we're talking about a guy that's played 62 games over two years. That's, I mean, he hasn't missed a lot of games. And then the injury that he did have, he came back. You do get two guys with foot injuries that that came back. I've shared my Skydron report. He's got, he's got, I have that he has really good position on size, 6, 11, 250, strong frames, solid athlete. He's mobile. He's got long arms. A really promising low post player with good touch around the rim. Very good pass. So he finds cutters. He makes skip passes. He can make plays out of the short roll. He can put the ball on the floor. A guy that is a DHO.

11:25I'm not sure about that dribble handoff threat. He can attack closeouts. You know, an adequate lob threat. Could be a hub at times to run the offense. He has, I think he has the tools to be a good rim runner. Not great, not like a gazelle, but I think he has the tools to be a good rim runner. And he's efficient around the block. Great hands. I mean, those are the main things you look for. I put that I still feel like he has a ways to go as far as like developing. I think there's some moments where he looks a little raw and uncooked. Concerns also that he's not like an overly explosive athlete. He doesn't have like elite vertical pop. I thought he got better throughout the year, but I felt like early in his career, he's just on the floor too much. I felt like to be that big. I just felt like he was on the floor. And then when I say as far as like his, his feel is a little raw. He has his tendency to put the ball like below his waist and get stripped. Like it needs to keep the ball high.

12:27And then I wonder like not so much the rebounding like his fresh me. I was like, my question was how good of a rebounder is he? And rim protector, I think the rebounding was good last year. But I wonder about him as a rim protector and how it translates to the NBA. So what are your thoughts on him? Obviously you like him. You think it be a lottery pick? You think he's the best big in his draft. But what are your thoughts on his game and how it fits the modern NBA? I think it's great for the modern NBA. Again, as a dribble handoff guy, you can, you're not just pigeonholing him to being on the block, even though he does have some talent on the block. And when you can space the floor out and five-hour action or your big can make those backdoor cuts, then I think the game becomes a lot easier. I think he's a really good athlete like in space. Sometimes when he, he screams, he gets out quick and he plays above the rim is he

13:27sion cata or even common mile-a-wouts. Maybe not as long as those guys. But I do think he gets off the ground quickly, especially at 260. As far as how it translates to, like I said, you think about how, and really, you would, he shot 25% from 3% was up from 0% as a freshman. And I really don't care. I would like to see him shoot some threes and maybe make some threes, maybe not this year. Just go dominate, be great. Eventually make some threes, but like, if you, even if you're big, sacks off, and he's able to play the DHO game, and he gets a really good, like, guard, especially in the league to come off those handoffs, then you're going to get wide open shots. Because he's a good screener and he's quick. Then that big steps up. He's athletic enough, agile enough. It's probably work, probably better work, agile enough to get out and play above the rim.

14:31I really like him. I want to see better control on the block. And I want to see like a meme streak because he should look at the team and say, all right, this is not cool. We're flagged out there. It's not a con-conniple out there. There's not a Cameron Boozler out there. I'm the guy on this team. I need to go beat a man. I'm going to put everybody on my back. Duke has depth, but I think he's a lot of depth, but I think he should be the guy. This time of his year-over-year improvement, the rebound percentage improves for the advanced debt. His sister percentage improves. The block percentage improves. The free throw rate improves. He draws a ton of fows. He really had a productive season and he played 22 minutes a game, I believe. But as far as how I think he's a game, we'll translate more. I thought he was really good as a picking role man, but only 8% of his plays were as

15:33role man. Because a lot of times he was posting up and he was operating as a cutter. Excuse me, because they played through Cameron Boozler a lot. Yeah. I like him. To the four free throw attempts per game in like 22 minutes is pretty good. So you wonder, can he get that up to about six and a half or seven? The question is, is he going to play more than 22 minutes a game this year? I think if he's the hub, like how I feel like he should be, he should be able to play 28 minutes again. Seven more minutes, higher usage. Again, you look at the team, boom, Jay, boom, Jay is really, really good. Right? But boom, Jay, boom, Jay wants to shoot three, two, which really should help him out. He should have a box to himself. Well, I mean Boozler shot the ball. I look for a five of a game, but he did a lot of his work posting up also in offensive glass. But as good as Kate and Boozler is, as good as John Blackwell is, he's the prospect for that team

16:42in this class. I think he should be featured. I think even it, yeah, he should be featured. And you know, Cameron, they're going to have Cameron Williams and Drew Shinnarovsky. I believe that's how you say this last thing. Those guys are going to be in the mix along with Booz, Jay, boom, Jay. But like, I think he's the guy. You know, like his freshman year, he played with Cooper Flag and Malu Alch. And last year, and Knapple, last year he played with Cameron Boozler. So he won't have a teammate that's like a player of the year candidate or a player of the year. I think the 10 Boozler win player to your last year. I don't think he did. I don't remember. But can he like be the top dog? Like, do you believe he could be the top dog on a team that goes to like the Elite 8? That's one of the questions I have. Yes, you know, it's year three. And the way that he improved from year one to two, you expect the bigger jump in year three.

17:45But just one of the questions that I ask myself out loud is, can he be the guy that, you know, is the engine? And that's the question I have. And so I think you can. You look at that kinetic routine that went to the final four I believe. The guy that they played through the most was Tarserie. Tarserie was the first round pick. You know, Tarserie wasn't in 22, maybe 21. He's still kind of more of an old school back to the basketball big. Like, I think Gung was more talented than Tarserie. And you played through Tarserie. They went on to action. Obviously, you get Braille and Mones and those guys going. But that team played through Reed. He has the talent. He has the tools. Is he does he have the mindset? I don't know him personally. But if he has the mindset, I think you put the team on your back. And you take them as far as, you know, you can take them. And we talked about it a few days ago.

18:48Is there a world where Bunchet, Bunchet, like, lives up to the hype that people think he could be the first pick in the 2028 NBA draft? And then Cameron Williams ends up being like really, really good. Is there a world where, you know, Patrick sees his minutes? Where it's like, yeah, he may start, but he may not be on the floor in crunch time. There is a world that is a possibility. Again, Bunchet, Bunchet is extremely talented. As he played in the ACC before, no. And he's physically ready, obviously. But I think, I think he's going to be his best at the four, right? Because at, so they list them as 72. You talk about like long termers this year. I think long term is a five, but this year he's probably best at the four.

19:49And you can play, you can still play high low really with both of them. But when I see Bunchet, Bunchet, he had his best. Again, he can score on the box, but like he's, he's a really, really good shooter. And it's going to absolutely translate, especially in Cod's basketball when, you know, you can occupy space. I mean, I just feel like it should be Gangba. He's the best prospect this year. I camera, Williams is still kind of a lot raw chicken to me. Because again, he's not necessarily like some knock down shooter. And he's not strong enough to play the five. So I can't see him taking minutes away from Gangba at the five. Bunchet, Bunchet potentially could, but same time I still think you can play those two guys together. All right, let's get to the questions. Jay Jiro 5059 says, who do you got for Duke starting lineup? And this is the topic we've talked about multiple times. I'll go, and this is always going to be, you know, a debate until opening night.

20:52Real quick, man, there's always going to be some idea in the comments and we hate Duke for whatever reason. If we don't say something they don't like, Duke is extremely deep. We're speculating on who's going to start. It's probably going to change. Who's going to close? We don't know. But go ahead, Rob. I go Caleb Foster, Jonathan Blackwell, Domé Sard, Bunchet, Bunchet, and Gangba. Bunchet, Bunchet, starting at 17. I mean, he's the projected number one pick in the 2028 NBA draft. They told him to come a year early. So on one hand, you can say, yeah, they got a two year plan for him. But they, I mean, he came here early. He's got buzz. If you had a draft right now, he would be the first Duke player off the board if there wasn't restrictions. So I mean, I can see him starting.

21:54But then I can also see Cameron Williams starting. I mean, I can see Bryson Howard starting over Domé Sard. I could see Katie and Boozer starting also. Like they, they can go at least 910 deep. I'm going with a three guard rotation. I'm starting Boozer, Blackwell, and Kaden Foster. Excuse me. Caleb Foster. Caleb Foster, I'm sorry. And I'm going JVB. I'm going Pat. I'm going three guards. And I, yeah, I'm going three guards, three playmakers, and we got two seven footers back there. Who's your first sub because you got to have some of those guards in the second unit? Are you got Rippy? So if, if Sard beats out Howard, whoever the wing is going to be my second sub, like I said, I think with, I think that Boozer at 6'5 should be able to defend again, threes and cons basketball.

23:00You think Kaden and Boozer are 6'5? Yeah, he's 6'5. 6'4, 6'5. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. He's a big dude, big Husky dude, big hairy leg yet. He's not 6'3 by any means. No, but I'm going three guards. They got him at 6'4. Well, I mean, we're giving the, we're giving the afro tax. But I'm going three guards and two bigs and to keep this floor spaced out. I think Karen Boozer has a chance to, to, but Kaden Boozer, man, my bet. I think Kaden Boozer has a chance to maybe play himself into being a late first round pick, depending on how the jump shot progresses. But yeah, I'm going three guards and two bigs. He shot just 30% from three on a little under two attempts per game. All right, let's see what the comments are. All right, I think, I think he'll be encouraged to shoot off the picking pop and trail three. He's might not show that dude, but he has a good jump shot.

24:03I mean, I think there's potential there. But, you know, like the Frito was he like 66% from the foul line. I mean, that's not like the most encouraging sign. Dirty dancer says, Gungla is the spreadsheet merchant's new king. He's up there. I'm pretty sure there's some guy that's the, that's the spreadsheet first team all spreadsheet. At point your Tyler Tanner. Hey, shooting guard. It might be Quinn Coleman this year. At the three, it's going to be Austin Gooseby, especially if he can shoot because he's going to do everything else. He can do every three. Yeah, he's a three Austin Gooseby. Yeah, he's a three. He's not really putting the ball on the ground. I really, he's a ball mover. Not really a playmaker. At the four, who's going to be all spreadsheet? I actually, you know, boom, Jay, boom, Jay, boom, Jay. And then at the five is going to be gone.

25:03Well, that's first team on spreadsheet. And then you can mix in obviously Jordan Smith. I mean, he might, you know, whatever position he plays, he's going to be all spreadsheet too. But yeah. Yeah. All right. Dirty dancer says the starting line should be Booster Blackwell, Sarr, boom, Jay, boom, Jay and Gungba. Then he also says he's so tired of seeing foster, get the top look Caleb Foster, man, was he? I feel like he was on that team that played Kansas. Was he on the coach K's last team? I don't know. It seems like he's been there. No way. It seems like he's been there forever. I mean, was he on the Florida Bank arrow? Was he in that class? He might have been. That's crazy if he was. 26:06now let us know who you think should be in Duke starting lineup. Caleb Foster played with Phillip Housey, man. He was a year before. He's Phillip Housey. Jeremy Kane, Tyree. So lively. No, he didn't play with Lively. His freshman. Yeah. His freshman NBA guys from the House gave me Kane. Was McCain? 2020 was McCain in the same draft? 24 drafts. Okay. So, man, these years, I know Phillip Housey and Lively played together. Yeah, that was Phillip Housey's freshman year because Phillip Housey did two at Duke. I mean, man, these years all running together. They all running. But it seemed like I promised it seemed like Caleb Foster was like the back of point guard with that band carol group.

27:08My man Adrian said it sounds like Perry Ellis. Now Perry Ellis played with everybody from Danny Manning to Paul Pierce to and bead. Wiggins. Yeah. He was on a team with Thomas at the shot. And then he might be he might be feeling out. He might be filing it was like what are they calling them? A TRO trying to give him an extra year eligibility. He seemed like he was there forever. All right. So you think it'd be the first player drafted? All right. What does a the first Duke player? First Duke player. The first Duke player. Let me let me get that right. Sometimes he slip up and then it's I read the comments the next day. He's got somebody. He goes off. I'm like, you gotta remember it's 10 o'clock at night. What does a top 10 pick season look like?

28:09What does he show you to creep into the top 10? I'm about to sound real. She killed O'Neillish but a big man I need you to dominate. Was it the big man of Lions? Yeah. I need I need you to dominate man. I need 18 points. I need eight to nine rebounds. I need almost three assists. I need you to give me about two blocks of game. He's already training that way as far as the rebound numbers getting better. The assist numbers getting better. The block number is getting better. But we I need 18 from you big dog. It's a searcher dominance. Can you stay out of foul trouble? That's a good question. He does. He sits a lot of illegal screens. Someone get caught. Some of them don't. And maybe that's why he only played 22 minutes a night but we got to clean up the files. I think he's just there's just like discipline that he needs to he's being more disciplined like with the reaching with the

29:13screening and just more discipline when he has patience I guess you could say on the block when he has the ball. But I guess it 18, 8, 2 and 2 and we're a top 10 pick first first big off the board. All right here's a question for you. He averaged a little under six rebounds in 22 minutes which you'll you'll take that. But how many of those rebounds that he get because the attention was blocking out Cameron Booser and some of those rebounds just basically fell in his lap. With the team this year do you think that he may get exposed a little bit as not being like a a dominant rebounder? Oh that's a good question but like I said he always asks good questions so almost at times. I wouldn't necessarily say that because the rebounding numbers per sentence wise weren't like he improved as a rebounder but even in the spot minutes he was

30:19probably on pace to average like six rebounds a game is freshman year. I don't again is he a glass cleaner is he honnestine back? No but I think he should be a good enough rebounder and wow you got to think six rebounds again yes Booser was drawing more attention but at the same time like Booser was also like they switched a lot of four or five stuff so he's going five more often then she would down there able to bang and grab those rebounds. Booser was grabbing like three offensive rebounds and here's some knee bounds in there too though. Shout out to whoever made up knee bounds I was I'm mad at I didn't think of that. There's some definitely you know get my own stuff and I'm getting it back but yeah go ahead. BX Rep 19 says that with those numbers that you mentioned he would go first overall that'll be tough to go first overall and the 21 year old with 21 allegedly

31:23is he is he basketball young though he looks like it I have to look it up he definitely looks like it but again this this draft I mean I I feel like some of these freshmen not not some a lot of these freshmen who are maybe slide it to me top 10 picks unfortunately just the way I go away go it's not all of them are going to hit right that's that's for sure yeah and if Gond will place up to his talent level I don't see why seven oh yeah I don't see why seven would be like too high to take him in this draft because he can really a almost seven footer like you really really pass that had he could be a pick a roll direct as he says threat as a roll man scoring the box and pass like we don't have that combination like we talked about creeps right we like creeps he's not the pass

32:26of that gung but it's but what team needs a five the first thing that comes to mind is Sacramento they go this way like what if like if you're jailing the ring and you probably feel like man I need Sacramento to get off the bonus so they can make me this max offer because right now Detroit has all the leverage all the leverage because I mean nobody else can pay them but with that being said what other team other than Sacramento can you say they need I mean Sacramento needs the best player available but they need a big and the worst way I would say Chicago Bulls they got a lot of skinny power fours their five is Nick claxton who is the size of a skinny power four and I Nick claxton can pass he can play but Nick claxton has two years left on his deal after this year

33:26so he's gonna be looking for an extension payday free agency whatever either way you call it I think the bulls need a big yeah that's one team right there go ahead so I was wondering if if if Detroit doesn't pay jailing Sacramento makes him a big offer would Detroit I think they got the pieces to try to move up and they would need a big because this this this this this Jalen Durant situation is very very interesting and it kind of sucks for him because he like I know there's a team that wants me that wants to cash me out but they don't have the resources to do it right now any other teams that need a five I mean Chicago one makes sense that was that was a good one I mean the warriors are going to eventually need a five like they're going to need well I don't know what they're I don't know they're they're they're

35:32year I thought he was a lead guard I'm not buying him as a I think him being a lead guard it's further away than you should trade Keonete now I got to figure out because Keonete do for a payday him and that really that whole class then those guys are getting checks but I don't I don't think I I have to see something drastic from Darren in the first like three months of season for me to think like that's my point guard my lead guard of the future because he think about that team like built to win now they're built to win now but there's if you trade Keonete for for Jalen Duran who's handling the ball I said I hear he can't shoot we back in off of him but they got enough shooting around them Laurie sniper ace you expect him Darren you can't leave him no you can't leave him Darren Jackson shoot that ugly kid shot that he shoots and makes yeah that could be something I mean Keonete again he he played with Kate they got the size I'll be you know
