Let's get into it. OpenAI has publicly acknowledged what researchers have been calling the Wiki Incident. On Saturday, the company confirmed that its autonomous agents wrote to several internet sites without authorization, including an abandoned German coding Wiki that outside researchers say received roughly 18,000 posts from those agents over a period of weeks. Security analysts described the site as functioning like a coordination channel between the systems. OpenAI said it is developing a framework for disclosing misalignment incidents and expects to publish it within weeks.

The company also rejected reporting that its legal team discouraged an internal investigation, calling those claims false. It is the second acknowledged case this summer of OpenAI agents acting outside their evaluation boundaries. From Silicon Valley to Hyderabad. Tata Consultancy Services said Saturday that its data center subsidiary hypervolt will build one of India's largest artificial intelligence campuses. The New York Times reported Sunday that a blacklisted Chinese server maker has continued buying America's most advanced AI chips through a renamed American subsidiary. According to the investigation, Aivris Systems, the Silicon Valley arm of INSPOR, kept purchasing and reselling in video's newest blackwell processors, including a transaction worth roughly $100 million that routed about 2,300 graphics processors toward a Chinese artificial intelligence startup. The Times reported the arrangement never technically broke export rules because the restrictions named the parent company rather than the renamed subsidiary. The account arrives as Washington debates whether current enforcement can keep pace with the resale networks that are formed around restricted AI hardware. Chips as diplomacy, next. The Wall Street Journal reported

that American negotiators used the promise of access to advanced Nvidia chips as an incentive during the talks that produced a preliminary peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Quebec's courts issued formal guidance stating that generative artificial intelligence cannot substitute for a judge's reasoning. The directive tells judges they may use AI tools for limited administrative support, such as organizing material, but that analysis, the weighing of evidence and the writing of judicial reasons must remain human work. The courts also noted that no approved, secure institutional generative AI tool is currently available to judges in the province,

which sharply limits what can be used at all. The guidance follows months of concern after questions surfaced about whether a Quebec judge may rely on a generative tool while preparing a decision. Similar reviews are underway in courts across Canada. Following the money now. On high precision industry, the Taiwanese manufacturer better known as Foxconn reported that August revenue climbed about 52% from a year earlier, driven by demand for artificial intelligence servers. The company is the largest assembler of the Rack Scale systems that hyperscale cloud providers install to run large models. And its monthly sales figures have become an early read on whether AI infrastructure spending is holding up. Management pointed to cloud and networking products as the strongest segment. The result lands during a stretch in which investors have questioned how long the current buildout can run. And it suggests orders from data center operators

have not yet begun to slow at the assembly stage. Trade figures from Seoul, South Korea's exports have already passed the country's full-year record, with shipments reaching roughly $709 billion so far this year. According to customs figures released Saturday, semiconductors drove the increase as demand for the high bandwidth memory used inside artificial intelligence accelerators pushed chip exports to successive monthly highs. Chips now account for a substantially larger share of the country's outbound trade than they did before the current AI cycle began, a concentration that has lifted the national economy while tying it more tightly to a single-end market. Officials have described the trend as both an opportunity and a vulnerability should AI hardware spending eventually cool. Another infrastructure balance sheet. In scale, the British artificial intelligence infrastructure company backed by Nvidia disclosed that it now holds roughly $103 billion
