With the NFL today, March 19, Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott has agreed to a revised
contract for 2026.
He cut his base pay from $6 million down to $5 million and the team guaranteed that
full $5 million amount.
This tweak saves the Eagles $240,000 in salary cap space for the upcoming year.
Elliott remains under contract through 2028 thanks to Void years tacked on at the end.
He's held down the kicking drop in Philly since 2017, connecting on 83.7% of his field goals
overall.
The change shows both sides working together to ease cap pressures as the team plans ahead.
