Eagles' Mock Draft: Speed, Trenches, & Defense

NFL free agency is in full swing, and the Philadelphia Eagles have made several key moves to bolster their roster.

With those changes in mind, a new mock-draft simulation projects how the 2026 NFL draft could play out for them, focusing on long-term, needs without any trades.

In the first round at the 23rd pick, they grab wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. from Indiana, to pair with Devonta Smith and add speed to the offense.

The second round brings tight-end Eli Stowers from Vanderbilt as a future multi-tool weapon, even with Dallas-Gaudaider back short-term.

Then in the third round, Edge rusher Danny Dinesetten from Penn State offers high upside.

The Eagles double down on the trenches next, taking offensive tackle Demetrius Crown over from Texas A&M in the third round, then Brian Parker, the second from Duke in the fourth, who could slide inside to guard.

They also add cornerback Devon Marshall from NC State for depth behind their new one-year edition.

Litter picks Tardir running back K. Tron Allen from Penn State for backfield competition and multiple safeties like Jalen Shrowman from Notre Dame and Lorenzo Stiles Jr. from Ohio State to fill a glaring hole.

This hall builds firepower around Jalen Hertz while shoring up defense for the long haul.
