Eagles Rebuild with Key Signings, Draft Impact

The Philadelphia Eagles wrapped up the 2025 NFL regular season with an 11 and 6 record

to claim their second straight NFC East.

Title in the number 3 seed in the playoffs.

But their Super Bowl hopes ended quickly with a 23-19 wild card loss to the San Francisco

49ers.

Now in the off season, the Eagles are rebuilding fast after losing some key players like safety

read Blankenship.

They brought in Pro Bowl cornerback Rick Willen from the Seattle Seahawks and veteran

backup quarterback Andy Dalton to support Jalen Hertz.

A big addition to their wide receivers is Marquis Hollywood Brown, who signed a one-year

deal worth $5 million.

Brown started with the Baltimore Ravens after being drafted 25th overall in 2019, had

a thousand yard season there, then moved to.

The Arizona Cardinals and later, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Meanwhile, this move shakes up draft picks too.

It cancels out a projected sixth round compensatory pick for Philadelphia in 2027, while the

Chiefs pick up a seventh rounder as compensation.

The Eagles still have their number 23 selection in next month's 2026 NFL draft and plan to

keep hunting free agents to push, back towards Super Bowl contention.
