Eagles Strengthen Safety Position with Epps, Gray Signings

The Philadelphia Eagles are bolstering their safety position by signing Marcus Epps and

J.T. Gray to one year deals.

This comes right after the team traded safety, Sidney Brown to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange

for draft picks while also losing Reed Blankenship too.

Houston and Free Agency Epps, a 30-year-old veteran, returns to Philly after playing their

last season, where he logged 250 defensive snaps and 100.

19 on special teams across 12 games, including four starts.

Meanwhile, Gray brings elite special teams chops, having suited up for 98 career games

with just 153 defensive snaps, but over 2,230 on special teams, he's earned Pro Bowl honors

and multiple all pro nods as a cover-jace.

These additions give the Eagles depth and experience heading into training camp, showing

up a spot hit hard by recent changes.
