The Philadelphia Eagles made a key move this week by trading for quarterback Andy Dalton

from the Carolina Panthers.

They sent over a 2027th round pick in exchange.

This addition does not signal any plans to move back up Tanner McKee.

Reports from those close to the situation confirm no steps toward trading the 25-year-old

Stanford product.

McKee has started two games since joining the league in 2023 and performed well enough

to draw interest from other teams needing depth.

Several squads now face tougher options without McKee on the market.
