She's only gone and done it again. Alex Yala wins in convincing fashion against Magdalena.

And now she's set up a match up in the fourth round with none other than Carolina Mokobar.

Let's get stuck into this one. Oh my word. It is unbelievable. Alex Yala does it again.

And this time it was in straight sets. It was six three seven six against Magdalena.

And like the Miami Open themselves even say Miami Alex is unmatched. She really is.

She loves these chords. When she comes out there, it just seems like the air of confidence is just

in there. Last year's performance in the semi finals. And this year she just replicating what

she did last year. It is fantastic to watch. I did say straight sets. And I did say three sets

in the other match as well. It's going well so far. How will my prediction go for this one?

Stay to the end and you'll find out. This is what she said after the match and said about

fighting, being aggressive, what I aim to do. And it has only come out in these past years.

And oh yes, we're seeing the progress of the Filipina tennis star. It has been working.

And we hope to see it more like they say there. It was fantastic. There's so much reaction online.

Obviously after a big Yala win and some just incredible points in this match.

There she was running all around the court hitting hard. And then a drop shot was played by Magdalena.

She sprinted to the net. She got there and then finished off with an amazing volley.

And like this person has said as well, you know when the cinematic experience is happening

There it is. Yeah, I mean, she summons the crowd almost. And you can see them all roaring in the

distance. Yeah, it's it's beautiful to watch. And this is what she had to say afterwards said,

I think I've matured a lot in the last year. I've been out in a lot of high pressure moments,

a lot of big stages. And I'm grateful for and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Being back in the fourth round, it makes me feel the same as I did last year. So happy, so excited.

It's a privilege to be back in Miami. So humble as well. And like Jose Morgado says,

it's an important week for Yala. She's defending semi final points. And she is delivering third

consecutive WTA 1000 where she reaches the last 16. And like it says here, volume up. Yeah,

the crowd go wild. But she has a very tough test in the next round. And it is

none other than Carolina Mucava who took out the Brit Katie Boulter in straight sets as well.

It was 6375, a convincing victory from her. And she looks very much the part. She had a good

win, a very tough win in her first match of the tournament. That was against her Camilia,

Ossolio, Serrano. And that was in three sets, but she came through that strong 75 in that third

set when she was actually down. And Camila led to love in the third. And she just goes to show

the fighting spirit. Mucava left a volley and kept wincing at her ankle. And she proved to not

find that a problem in this match against Boulter. So it's great to see Mucava not carrying any

injuries at all. It's going to be very interesting though. If you want to have a look at how she's

done in the past in Miami, this is actually a best, best run. So she's never been to the fourth round

before. She has only been to as far as the third round on every occasion, other than one,

which was a second round. So this is her best. And don't forget, she did win her first WTA 1000

event in Qatar this year. So she's definitely in some good form. She made the fourth round at

Indian Wells. But Alexiala is a different animal. Let's get to a prediction. It's going to be tough.

I think it speaks volumes that first match. I think the way she fought through it, but the fact

she had to fight through it. Yeah, it's really, really tough to call. I mean, Iala, she just did

what she had to do against Lynette. She had a really tough match against Laura Seigman, which was

over three hours. So they both had a tough first match. Both had a straight sets second match.

We've got Mucava who actually did so well to beat Umbulco in that final in Qatar. She's very,

very tough to play. But I've just got this weird feeling that we're going to see something really

special in this match. And I've got a feeling we're going to see Iala win again. But I think this

one will be in three sets. And I think Mucava, she is so gritty, so determined as well. This is

going to be a fight to the death. And Iala is going to come out on top. But that's just my
