It's April 7. This is Edinburgh News Today. Local news powered by AI. Theaves have hit three homes in East Lothian, with a string of high-value break-ins striking between February 14th and March 23rd, this year. The first break-in happened at a house on Gosford Road in Long Nidry, from February 14th to 28th, where they grabbed a four-figure cash, Hall and some jewelry. Next up, for March 7th to 23rd on Hill Road in Golan, the crew swive jewelry, watches, and a five-figure sum of money. Then between March 8th and 11th on Wessling's Road in Golan, they took more jewelry and another five-figure cash grab. Cops found that in every case that these climbed through first four windows and they knew exactly when the homes were empty. Investigators are sure it's the same group behind all three. These are now hunting for leads like local CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage from those spots, plus any odd vehicles or suspicious folks hanging around.
If you've got info, hit up 101 with incident number 3588 from March 8th, or go anonymous through Crime Stoppers on zero. 8005-551-11, every tip counts in locking these guys down.
