Fi: Eeron sydän hakkasi innokkaasti, kun hän katsoi hämärässä bunkkerissa ympärilleen.
En: Eero's heart pounded eagerly as he looked around in the dim bunker.
Fi: Kaija ja Olavi nukkuivat vielä, niiden hengitys hiljaisena kuiskauksena betoniseinien sisällä.
En: Kaija and Olavi were still asleep, their breathing a quiet whisper within the concrete walls.
Fi: Vappu oli aivan nurkan takana, mutta juhlatunnelma oli kaukana tästä maan alla olevasta suojapaikasta.
