Elevator no. 170: Jared Butler is a professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards. As an NBA player in his fourth season, Jared relies on his faith, community, and mindset to elevate at the highest level. As an athlete with the genetic heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Jared exercises his mental fortitude as he continues to live out his dream. 

As a student-athlete at the Baylor University, Jared helped the Bears win a national championship in 2021 and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player. That year, Jared was named a consensus first-team All-American.
