The executive order from late March, March 31st, it was ensuring

2:04citizenship verification and integrity in federal elections. You had to accept mail ballots only for voters on state submitted lists. So the state would have to provide a list. From there, they would require specific envelope designs, official election mail markings and unique intelligent mail barcodes. That would be both on the ballot and on the envelope, the envelope going out and the envelope coming back in. Those designs would be pre-approved and they would be able to refuse non-compliant ballots. And then come spring early summer, we got the first wave of lawsuits. Two dozen states plus the district of Columbia and Pennsylvania's governor and voting rights groups like the League of Women Voters, sued in Boston before Judge Indira Tallahwani. The NAACP apparently sued in DC arguing the changes violated a 2021 settlement that required USPS prioritize election mail through 2028. June 25th, Tallahwani ruled that key parts of the executive order itself exceeded

3:09presidential power. The elections clause give Congress in the states the authority over federal elections. She said the president cannot use the United States Postal Services a backdoor regulator. She blocked USPS and DHS for the 2026 midterms in the plaintiff states. July 1st, a judge Emmett Sullivan in DC blocked the proposed USPS rule as a violation of the NAACP settlement. The USPS issued a proposed rule in June and a final rule on August 21st that said ballot mail for federal elections, even while injunctions were in place, the final rule made the list upload barcode and design approval requirements binding and said non-compliant ballots will not be accepted. The USPS noted it would not implement for 2026 unless the injunctions were lifted. Then we got to the end of August where the Supreme Court gave a brief opening. Scotus stayed Tallahwani's injunctions and the state's executive order case saying that

4:13the challenge was premature because the rule hadn't been finalized. Tallahwani then vacated her remaining nationwide block. New suits immediately targeted the final rule. On August 26th or 27th, she issued a 14 day TRO blocking the implementation. She also found that the USPS had violated her earlier order by finishing the rulemaking. September 4th, here we are today. This is what happened on Friday. After a hearing, Tallahwani converted the TRO into a preliminary injunction that lasts through the November 3rd midterms unless a higher court lifts it. She held the rule is likely unconstitutional. The USPS has no delegated power to set election conditions on states and that forcing 10,000 jurisdictions to redesign an envelope to get USPS sign off and upload voter files weeks before voting while some states were already mailing ballots, but almost certainly disenfranchised

5:13eligible voters. The United States Postal Service support reportally still wasn't ready. So now we're asking the Supreme Court to take another look at it. So the administration filed another emergency application arguing that the requirements are modest and that the lower court is wrongly treating postal standards as an election regulation takeover. Challengers are now going to have a short window to respond. The court is expected to act quickly because ballots are already going up. So that's where we are currently. This is from ABC News. Such Indira Tawani's temporary order, which had been set to expire on September 10th is now in place indefinitely unless a higher court allows the Trump administration to put the rules into effect. So we need the Supreme Court to act here. Trump who has pushed unfounded claims of widespread mail ballot fraud wants states to report to the USPS basic voter information such as a voter's name and home address attached to

6:15a unique barcode and every mail and ballot that is distributed. So workers would then deliver ballots addressed to voters who appear on the state provided list. Following the publications of the regulations last month, dozens of Democrats state attorney general sued the Trump administration after an earlier lawsuit was blocked by the Supreme Court, which set at the time that the challenge was premature because the regulations weren't finalized. So the state's challenge in the USPS rule have until Tuesday today, 15 minutes ago to formally respond before the Supreme Court makes the decision. The states and voter advocacy groups have argued that the new regulations are an attempt by the Trump administration to federalize elections, even though states would control them all anyway. So we're going to be standing by and waiting to see what the Supreme Court says on this. And we're going to see what the state's challenging have said on this because they have to formally respond before the Supreme Court makes a decision here. But if something that definitely needs to be paid attention to, these people are absolutely

7:17insane. Chain of custody is a real thing. This is not federalizing elections. The states would have the full authority to make all of these lists. The states though have illegal aliens on their voter rolls. That's what this is really about. If you don't believe me, see New Jersey, their own governor, a moderate Democrat by all standards. She said, yeah, we had illegal aliens on our rolls and they were voted. There are states that won't turn over their voter rolls to the Department of Homeland Security because of this reason. So I'm out. We need this at bare minimum to ensure that we're not being flooded with a ton of fake mail imbalance. And my pushback on the Democrats would be like, if it's not happening, why are you so adamant against it? This all should have been handled a lot sooner, not a couple of weeks and while we're handing out mail and ballots currently. Again, I think it's North Carolina's already started mailing up ballots. And next week, another state jumps in. This should have been handled a long time ago elsewhere.

8:19There's some other stories that have been making the headlines bigly. Did you see what happened in England over the weekend? It was crazy. And it gives you a little bit of hope that England is waking up. So there were some newcomers that showed up in Port Smith. And a few hundred protesters got there and blockaded the entrance of the newcomers in Port Smith. Bright Bart has a story. Hundreds of Britons descended on the East knee marina of Port Smith on Sunday evening, blocking the roadway as illegal boat migrants were brought ashore and were sent to be loaded onto the coaches and dispersed into the country. He also deposited $449,000 in cash. The unless it windfall dwarfs their meager incomes.

21:13So at that government job, the guy who is the senior official Gneew, he was making $67,000 a year while his money man was making about $7,500 a year in legitimate wages. As the investigation mounted, Gneew was not immediately fired. And steady quietly resigned due to personal reasons in March of 2026, just months before federal authorities moved in to arrest him. The complaint notes that the senior official and the money man frequently exchanged money back and forth with applicants authorities alleged the rapid churning of funds on digital apps inflated the total volume of money processed leading to the $1.7 million figure. Most of the citizenship applications they dealt with came from African countries according to prosecutors selling immigration benefits for cash is a blatant abuse of public trust. Said the US attorney for the Northern District of Texas in a statement on Friday.

34:40Please. Man arrested with truck truck with truck full of flock cameras in Albuquerque. I saw that one over the weekend. Say that five times fast. I dare you. I can't. Albuquerque, New Mexico, sheriff's deputies took a man into custody Wednesday after he showed him outside their headquarters with multiple flock cameras in the back of his pickup truck. Authorities arrested Javon Martinez for damaging flock cameras in Rio Rancho in May. Then Wednesday, he posted a video on social media, apparently showing him driving around Albuquerque and taking down the ALPRs once again. In those videos, he comments that since the sheriff's office ended its contract with flock last month, those cameras should no longer be on the streets streets. He said, just for the record, I'm not stealing these. I'm not destroying them. I'm simply returning them to the sheriff's department.

35:41Martinez who goes by John Vaughn the champ on social media said his issue isn't with the sheriff's office, but rather with flock, whose automated license plate readers have become a major topic of controversy around the country. The cameras track locations and store identifying information about your vehicle, and there have been concerns that police have been using the cameras for personal matters, such as tracking romantic partners.
