Okay, to her star.

Darryl Hannah, today, breaking her silence and blasting the hit FX series Love Story

as not even remotely accurate lies.

I don't even know who half these people are.

Using cocaine, attention-seeking, funeral crashing.

In Escaping New York Times essay,

the star disputes it all, asking,

how can Love Story get away with this?

Darryl, come on.

Innocent, and that's stupid.

The 65-year-old actress, who dated JFK Jr. for about five years in the 90s,

calls the show Tragedy Exploiting,

and condemned Ryan Murphy's portrayal of her as irritating, self-absorbed,

whiny, and inappropriate.

You mad at me or something?

She claims it misrepresents, quote,

my conduct, my relationship with John,

and I have never used cocaine in my life.

Oh, I'm sorry.

Why don't we get chondro over here?

And we can blow some lines off my dad's inaugural address.

There's more.

Since it started,

Aaron Darryl says she's received many hostile

and even threatening messages from viewers.

Quite serious for her to say something after 20 years.

I think it's unfair to demonize her in any way.

This morning, I talked to JFK Jr.'s former assistant,

Rose Marie Turinzio,

the author of JFK Jr.

An Intimate Oral Biography.

Do you think Darryl has a point,

kind of refuting her portrayal in the series?

My experience with Darryl was that she was lovely and she was sweet

and she was so polite and cool.

In my opinion, I think she has every right, you know, and good for her.

In the series, it does depict John's friends and family

as not being very fond of her.

Well, whatever happened between your mother and I,

it doesn't matter.

I never heard that from any of his friends

or his family members that they weren't fond of her.

I think relationships just, you know,

and for whatever reason between those two people.

Ryan Murphy has been up front saying that the show is a dramatization

inspired by real events, not a documentary.

And the FX series is Hulu and Disney Plus'

most watch series ever,

racking up more than 1.5 billion minutes of viewing

for the first five episodes.

When you first saw photos of the casting for the series,

what went through your mind, especially when you saw Paul Kelly,

castes John Jr.

And I think those were big shoes to fill

and he took it really seriously and I think he did a great job.

And it's not just Darryl slamming Love Story,

Q. Jack Schlossberg, JFK Jr.'s nephew.

If you want to know someone who's never met anyone in my family,

there's nothing about us.

Talk to Ryan Murphy.

I would just want people who do watch the show

to watch it with one letter in mind.

And that's a capital F for fiction.

Let's move on now to legal news.

And more fallout for Britney Spears

after her DUI arrest.

Black stands, dramatic breaking,

thriving and driving with their camera lights.

Spears showed signs of impairment

and submitted to a series of filter body tests.

Chemical tests are still pending.

Less than 24 hours after Britney's own rap told ET QUOTE,

hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change.

A source tells us Britney is open and willing to comply

with a new treatment and support plan.

We're also told she fired her sober coaches before her arrest.

Today, TMZ claims Britney had aterol pills

in her possession when she was pulled over.

Another report ledges Britney told officers

she had just one single mimosa in the afternoon.

but Britney's ex-husbands are speaking out.

Everybody makes mistakes and everybody deserves privacy.

From Sam Asgari to hubby of 55 hours Jason Alexander

who posted,

if the only substances in her system

were legally prescribed medications,

that changes the narrative completely.

Britney deserves the same thing anyone else does.

Facts, fairness and due process.

Spears' former assistant Sean Philip also weighing in.

All I texted her was,

She said, I'm okay.

It's not her character.

She's just a lovely, lovely, lovely person.

Meanwhile, a legal win for Brit's other ex Justin Timberlake,

a judge just blocked his 2024 DUI arrest

body ham footage from going public for now.

ET has the temporary restraining order.

The SAG Harbor Police Department has until April 9th

to argue why footage should be released.

This comes just three days after Justin sued.

His legal team arguing the video would subject the singer

to public ridicule and harassment.

which then led to a painful kidney stone infection by the fall.

But then...

I checked myself into the hospital

because I'm in so much pain.

It's all that the kidney stone was trapped.

There was so much infection.

I went Euroceptic in minutes.

Billy had to drop out of Cabaret on Broadway,

revealing on the Outlaws podcast.

He also almost lost his leg.

They had to cut me open on either side of my leg

while I was in a coma.

So they could save my leg.

They're good now?

I'm good.

I'm getting there, not 100%.

How could Carolyn, how could anyone manage to maintain

their own center of gravity around something that massive?

Give the rehearsal dinner speech on the wedding weekend,

which, you know, a lot of people have deemed as explosive?

I think a really fun fact is that speech was my audition.

I remember thinking, like, if this is the only thing I do in this show,

it'll be worth it.

There were a couple of people that were at the wedding that just said that

the speech that she gave was pointed at not being very accepting of their relationship.

On last night's love story, John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Beset,

Constant Zimmer gave the speech of her life as Carolyn Beset's mother.

What did you learn about the real woman, the real mother behind the headlines?

Anytime there was something written, it was always about how she was very strong,

but had a kind of, like, a wicked sense of humor.

What were some of the red flags she saw?

For me, it feels very universal that it is just a mother being protective of her child.

It's really, it's got a big deal in my mind, I swear.

Right, well, but you're giving him a second chance, so that leads me to believe otherwise.

Carolyn was so taken down by the media.

It's kind of wonderful that we're giving them this moment for her to have a different legacy.

Getting married is a big adjustment, and for her,

many, you know, privacy and room you can give her as she makes that adjustment,

it would be greatly appreciated.

As seen in the 2019 TLC doc JFK Jr. and Carolyn's wedding, the lost tapes,

we get a glimpse into what really happened on their special day, September 21, 1996.

And the FX show was pretty spot-on.

Carolyn has changed my life in ways that I never thought possible.

ET was inside the rustic wedding chapel just two days after their ceremony,

showing exactly how laid back their secret wedding was,

and we were with the newlywed three weeks later.

Despite the controversy over the fictional version,

Constance told us a lot of research and care went into plain JFK Jr.'s mother-in-law

right down to her look.

I love the transformation that you posted a side-by-side picture to you.

The wig is definitely like the queen. I mean, we gave her a name, we called her Blanche.

She was so awkward. It changed everything, and I automatically was like that character.

I just don't want you to lose yourself and lost two daughters in that plain crash.

So what was the emotional weight, I guess, for you stepping into that role?

Well, you know, best advice I got from an acting teacher was don't play the end.

The hardest thing was was not getting so emotional in knowing that her mom was right.

After the crash, we know that there was a lawsuit.

We know that there was so much fallout, and then basically she disappeared.

Why do you think that she chose to just remain a private person?

Because that's how she started.

It wasn't her choice, right? That was her daughter's choice.

And look what it did for her.

That's the newest part.

So when else taking us back?
