Today, we welcome Joshua M. Young, the author of the book Craving Recovery. This is a unique three-part series where I will interview Joshua about his story and book, his wife Sasha about her perspective supporting him, and, finally, her personal trauma story.
After a life spent dealing with childhood trauma, depression and anxiety, Joshua found the answer to his problems by way of alcohol. Joshua finally sought out the help needed to detox safely, openly address the root cause of his drinking, and has since regained control over his life. The lessons learned through recovery have taught him to be patient, understanding, open, and honest with his loved ones. Craving Recovery, speaks to Joshua's firsthand experience within a treatment facility, myths & stigmas, relapse prevention, intervention, lying & withholding, cravings, dealing with the root cause, and so on.
Joshua is passionate about sharing his experience with rehab & therapy and to specifically assist other alcoholics on their road to recovery. Joshua is married with four children and has built a career in the finance industry
