太陽是恆星的一種，且其在幾十億年後便會燃燒殆盡。
當太陽燒完之後，會變成甚麼呢？
燃燒完的太陽會由恆星轉變為白矮星。
矮星的溫度和顏色是有關的，溫度越高的話，顏色就會越往藍色移動。
而白矮星的溫度卻又比藍矮星更高！
這是因為矮星的亮度和其半徑有關，導致這個有趣的狀況。
