Dr. Laura Zehnder Jones received her DVM degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After initially working in Virginia, Laura moved to Pennsylvania where she now resides with her rescued companions and one husband. Laura's favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are client education, preventative care, the complexities of internal medicine, and the human-animal bond. She is also very passionate about promoting adoption and rescue to help those who are in need of the most basic necessity, a loving home. Laura was a house call veterinarian for 3 years before she decided to pivot away from mobile practice. Aside from her previous house call and now clinical work, she also serves as the Veterinary Education Manager for Veterinarian Recommended Solutions (VRS). Topics Covered In This Episode:
