Welcome back to Highly Respected. I'm your host, Scott Greer, and today we're going to have another fantastic and incredible episode today. And everyone in the cognitively pretty much asked about the ice shooting, or it's a board of control shooting of Alex Pretty and the ongoing siege in Minneapolis. And I'll go through all the names. I'm going to cover pretty much every topic. Some people asked is whether the left is becoming demoralized. Some people asked about the specifics about it over the shooting and the response. Others asked about right wingers who are getting upset at shootings and somehow like we need to do mass deportations nicely. Others argue we're asking about whether the right is more organized left. But we're going to pretty much cover every angle of this topic without

having to ask all the questions. But paper view, K-Max, Gillis and Joyer, and he specifically asked about how the administration is going to hold the line. Armaday and Joy actually did not. He asked all their questions. And then Nitro, James, Jack. And I think that is it all of who asked. And most of them sent like two questions which about it. But you know, I think it could be just a rise in one. But that's okay. We are we are going to cover most of this of the topic and the left response. So every angle, I mean, there's multiple angles. So we're going to pretty much cover all these questions in the first segment of this podcast, which should be at least 30 minutes. So if I so some reason did not get your specific angle, you can re ask it on for Wednesday. So I think the most important thing to not

notice about this is that this is expected to happen. I think I've got idiotic responses. I'm going to go to specifically how idiotic a lot of the right is about this later on. But I did get a response for it. And if you guys for some reason were buried under the snow under this weekend, it didn't know what happened is that Alex pretty is a nurse who and a leftist came armed with a gun and fought board of control agents who were involved in immigration enforcement operation. There was a scuffle and resisting arrest. A firearm went off and then he was shot. It's unclear what the exact details of it. There are some angles showing that the gun may have fired from his direction. It might have been an accident on discharge from his gun. Others say it was from a board of control agent or ICE agents gun. Others say that they executed

him in a cold blood or that they mistook something in his hand that was either a cell phone or a clip because he had two clips on him. And so it's still unclear. But what is clear is that he resisted arrests that he fought officers and he brought a fucking gun to protest. And I actually want to say this is that there's a lot of people who are like second amendment. They know we can bring guns anywhere, which is true. And I believe that you should I'm a strong supporter of concealed carry and the right to bear arms. But there's also times where you have to be smart about when you bring guns. And so bringing a gun to a protest where you're likely to engage with police officers and you're bringing two additional clips, you know, that's a that's pretty says, you know, little skeptical. That should draw skepticism of why you're doing that. And I think all these second amendment people are you can bring what's wrong with bringing a gun and fighting police. It's like, you know, most smart people realize that this is going to draw violence towards you.

That they may they're suspect you, you know, if they just see that gun on you is like that guy's armed, they may take, you know, they may shoot you immediately or if they have a gun that indicates some violent intent, you know, that you're, you know, that it's not like this little peaceful paradise where everyone's just going to know that like, oh, you're only a brave legal second amendment. Follower, we're going to totally respect your rights. And I just claims he didn't even have his license on him, which, you know, Minnesota's laws are different from elsewhere. Imagine his liberal state, you know, I don't know the exact gun right gun regulations there, but you know, still you most people are aware that hi, I'm going to go protest and I'm not going to and police are going to be there and I might get in a scuffle with police and I'm showing the willingness to fight with police. Maybe it might be better if I don't give them an excuse to shoot me by having a gun. And the fact that you had two additional clips is like, who are you using this?

Who are you planning to use this gun on? Now, some, you know, there's some right wing rhetoric that's saying he came there to assassinate the officers and we don't know that. But it's still like, you know, you can assume you can maybe suspect that if he's got gun, he's got a, you know, this type of gun on him and he's got two additional clips. And all these second amendment people are like, oh, well, that's totally normal. But, you know, there's times where it could be smart. Now, if you're going into a dangerous neighborhood and you're bringing a gun with you, I think that makes sense. You know, that's totally justifiable to do. So, are, you know, just going about your everyday business, you know, whatever you probably have it. But when you're about to gauge with police officers and you and you're on the left and, you know, maybe this guy is a moron and he thought that and a lot of leftists think that they're utilizing, you know, white supremacist militia with him. And so he felt he needed to have this. But, you know, it's by bringing the gun

in the two additional clips, I think if he just had the gun, you know, maybe it, he's just always carrying around, you know, it's part of his habit, you know, it's part of his daily routine. Maybe that is it. I mean, maybe the two additional clips are a part of that. But that ex, you know, that does create a reasonable suspicion that, you know, he was going there with a potential shooting cops and then he decided to use opportunity and fought with them and he, you know, got on the losing end of that, of that battle and, you know, let's say he happened and he got shot. But I don't think that there's a reasonable thing of that and I don't like to pretend that this is like a great American and all this up. You know, there's been such ridiculous, um, left-wing comments like I'm seeing that there's this now this new meme that it's the war of the unemployable, the absolute basement dwelling chuds, which are the ice and bourgeois agents versus the very successful employed, which, you know, this guy, this is like the first employable person

who's ever been involved in like an anti-pop protest, like Renee Good bounces between jobs and was unemployed at the time she was doing this. She had a weird life, you know, she's now, you know, she went from, you know, being married to now in a lesbian relationship, um, and all this so it's like I've just a strange person. This is not like Mr. Miss Normie, uh, who lives her like standard bourgeois lifestyle. This is somebody who's like very weird, not working. It's apparently that even, even her wife or her partner, uh, I don't even think her employee has like proper employment. That's why they're out in the middle of the day protesting ice. So, you know, this, this is like a complete bullshit meme, but they know that this is like this because everyone's seen a converge on this with like both left and right wing elements that want to find any recent attack trump that they're like, this is the war of the ab normal, the freaks against the normies and guess who's the normies the left. And they're utilizing this because they

finally found like a guy with a stable job who no criminal record, not a pedophile like the guys that, uh, written house shot and our sex offender and they're like, not a drug addict. They're like, wow, this is finally somebody we can make into a reasonable martyr. And even Renee Good didn't really put that. I mean, they try to turn her into Miss Normie mom dropping her kids off to soccer practice, but that's clearly not her life story. And you know, she's very bizarre person, not a drug addict. I don't think had a criminal record, but still not a normie. Now they finally found a normie and then they pretend that all the left is normies like this. And normies are not out in, you know, freezing temperatures, fighting ice agents and then pretending that nothing's going to happen. So that's it, but to go to the larger point because before we go into specifics, I mean, I just want to get that out of the way with the story. And I, and, and for my opinion of that I think it's justified, even if the guy didn't fire off a gun, you know, you do not,

you do not resist arrest, you do not fight ice officers. There maybe could have been better tactics used here. Maybe it was more of a mistake that they fired into them. But, you know, these guys, both, in both these cases with Renee Good and others, they're having to make split second decisions that, you know, if they make the wrong decision, it could be their life. They're already taking on often. They see him pulling out another object. The guy's already fighting police and resisting arrest, you know, he's not complying. And he already made the just like a bunch of stupid decisions by to fight police, you know, when they're already trying to create, he tried to break up an arrest that they're doing, he even then made the decision to fight them. He then, he also made the just stupid decision to bring, you know, the unwise decision to bring a noticeable firearm, you know, to a protest against police, which is already going to create more suspicion and, you know, greater willingness to use violence against him by police. And so he's making a lot

of unwise decisions and they kept resisting arrest, another unwise decision, and then this is the result. And I don't think this is murder or execution. I think these are, and I think these don't expect a result because the lots is encouraging people to violently resist, uh, immigration raids that are enforcing law that they're mostly, and they're mostly getting criminal. So I mean, if they pick up these people, they all like rapist pedophiles, rovers, you know, these are not model citizens. They're picking up. And yet these guys, these white liberals are willing to throw their lives in the line for that. And they're all have a martyr complex that is being driven by this. It's, and this was expected to happen. You know, there's some people just thought that they could, you know, pick up all these, you know, illegal immigrants from a secret hideout where a millions of our home of hiding. And no one knows about, and there's no cell phone cameras there. And they just go and pick them up, no problems to the economy, no one notices, everyone's happy,

and they're just not going to the secret reservoir of illegal immigrants that no one knows about, except for the federal government and, um, employers, I guess, and they could easily just pick them up and deport them with no one having a problem with it. You know, and there's all these, uh, I have this, uh, secret reservoir of people theory to remain politics for decisions. You know, they think there's a secret reservoir of working class whites that are waiting to be activated. You know, they're out to come out from the ravine when you build a factory that they'll just all subtly emerge, you know, they've been hiding for 50 years or so, and then they'll subtly emerge again and start working these factory jobs. And it's the same, and there's some what secret reservoir of illegal immigrants that they're just all in some central location where they go to, um, big employer that hires illegal immigrants. And, but nobody's all right, but no one has a cell phone camera there and no leftist will go and protest it. And we just need to go to secret

illegal immigrant hiding place and pick them all up and no one will notice. But that's not how this works. Is that we've been a country that has done very little interior enforcement, very little interior enforcement on, on immigration because we, uh, you know, previous administrations ought to be too unpopular because you're gonna, it's not, there's not a some secret location. You're going to have to go into neighborhoods. You're gonna have to go and bust down doors and cause attention to yourself. And we live in a world of cell phone cameras where everyone is going to document these cases. So there's no way you can do ice raids without people noticing and without people getting angry. And that's what makes it so stupid when all these people want mass deportations and they're like, this is theatrics. There is no theatrics involved. They're just doing their job. You're either, if you're calling about, if you're complaining about theatrics, you're simply saying, I don't want ice raids or I just want them to be nice and civil and no one notice. You know, that's not gonna fucking happen. This is not the 1950s where you could easily, you know, with

operation wept back, just pick them up and no one notices because they're all in the southwest. There's not everyone doesn't have a cell phone camera in the 1950s, especially. And there's no, there's not even really any cameras around. I think it easily picked them up with no one noticing. This is not the 1950s, you know, rural southwest where we could easily do this. This is very different. We're having to go into these cities and pick these people up and their communities are resisting. And it's either illegal immigrant communities are resisting or Hispanic communities that they're in are resisting or now as we see in Minneapolis, Portland, a few other places. It's white leftists, anti fall element that's resisting. And you know, they're well organized and motivated to do this stuff in a way that, you know, we should have expected when we saw what was happening in 2020. You know, these elements didn't completely disappear and they could be activated on this. And they finally find a cause worth fighting for. And these are people who are going out and watching one battle after another. A lot of them because this is, you know, the target audience for it was white liberals.

And they're like, wow, I could be likely in order to caprio and I could do this. I don't think, I mean, I think they would otherwise do this even if one battle after another wasn't there. But it further reinforces the cultural attitudes that they need to be out there resisting. There are also these people who have the mythology around the civil rights movement and the peaceful resistance or even maybe that they would wish they had done violent resistance during the civil rights movement. And all this is building up and they still have the mythology around 2020 Black Lives Matter and how is a noble peaceful protest movement or whatever. And they feel it's the time to resist. And they've all been thinking that now fascism has come to the US. And they're like, what would you have done in 1933 Germany? And then they're like, this is, you know, what you would have done in 1933 Germany? It's what you're doing now. And so they all feel they have to go out into the street and, you know, zero degree weather to protest ICE and disrupt this stuff. So this is all to be expected. I have, you know, you're, you're a complete moron with a 80 IQ

if you're arguing that this was not supposed to happen or you didn't expect this to happen. And it's also expected to happen that the public would react to this because the public has a week's stomach. The public cannot handle anything that is uncomfortable. Now that's, we still have to do this stuff. You know, you just got to say screw your discomfort. We are going to save our country. We're going to make it great again. We don't care that you're uncomfortable with this because this is necessary. All necessary actions are going to have divide strongly divided opinions. And as long as you maintain a secure economy, you can go about these things, which is why I've been critical of some of Trump's economic moves because, you know, when things disrupt the economy, you know, you create even more opposition towards this. You have to maintain a strong economy in order for us to do a lot of the strong actions on identity issues that we primarily care about.

So, you know, when this is just the nature of it, the public's always had a week's stomach. I have been noticing this, you know, you know, last year or not last year. I still think 2020 24 is last year, but in 2024, when things were happening, where people get cold feet or good weakness, and even on our side, like I remember when people when during Trump is at, you know, Trump was nearly assassinating, we're getting like home depot employees fired and people like, oh, this is horrible. How can we do this? This is not right. I'm a right way extremist, but please leave the lived hard home depot employees alone. And, you know, what do you think is going to happen for mass deportations? It's like, oh no, not the nice little home depot worker who's an illegal immigrant. Please don't do that. I'm saying my Nazi in my bio, but I really get upset about this. And so these guys, it's like, what did you expect? Like,

and this public solve is not going to be happy with this. And the media was already going to broadcast this stuff. It's not like the media is going to suddenly turn pro Trump and not broadcast these cell phone videos. Like, what did you expect this guy? So it's like all stupid, it's all expected. And I was worried about this in 2020 24, you know, I was writing about this is like, man, I don't know if people, when we start actually doing mass deportations, we're going to see a lot of people get cold feet and get weak sunbatts and somehow pretend that we can do this in a nice way. And what a lot of people would want, I mean, you know, what do you expect even and people are like, we're not deporting enough people. It's like, yeah, imagine if you just had truckloads, illegal immigrants just being carted off into the night. You know, I'm sure everyone would be happy about that. You know, people are just absolutely dumb and I'm tired of like the online right completely relying on fantasy models for everything to discuss. Nothing is reality base. And it's all fantasy base. And also when faced with real issues, they suddenly, despite their

baseness, despite their, you know, valorization of a world where two war criminals and other things, you know, there'll be like guys with like Darla Venger, obvious who are combining about ice. I'm like, what, what are, what plan are you on? And, you know, when it comes to actual real issues, outside of the fantasy, they somehow ended up on the same side of Libertard. So it's, you know, it's like alt ms and ms and bc going on here. So for a lot of these people, and it's also weird. I don't want to hurt. It's been a lot of last week hating on the euros, but the people, the people are noticed who rush quickly to this or the euro nats, which the euro nats, you know, they're all like thinking they're going to do base remigration and stuff. And it's like, you know, if you're crying over ice agents, you know, you know, shooting violent leftists who are interfering with their activities. How do you think remigrations going to go? You think you're just going to have unarmed police on bicycles politely telling Moroccans and Syrians to go home? Is that how you think remigrations

going to work? So I'm, I'm, I'm, I think it's actually proof that if you are complaining about this stuff, you're not actually right wing. You, and I think what you, where you stand on actual issues matters a whole lot more than whatever theory or philosophy you claim to a scribe to. If you are faced with direct political issues and you side with lib tards and no matter what based reason you give for this, you are in fact a liptard. You are in fact on the left. You are not a right winger because if you are, you might say I want a hundred million people deported, but I don't want to upset anyway. You are liberal and you don't actually want deportations. What matters is your instincts and your stance on issues that are facing now. Not your stand on, what happened in World War II, not your stand on monarchy, not your stand on democracy, not your stand on liberalism. What matters is how you stand on issues that directly face us and whether you

are taking the side of the actual right that wants to make real life change or you want to retreat to fantasy and then side with the lib tards, but then say it's for based reason. These people are not actually right wing. They are just leftists. A lot of these guys, even the old Wig-Nat, like alt-right elements, they are just fully leftists except they are just leftists who like Hitler. I even noticed this with a guy, my subset, I need to post this guy because this guy was perfect. It was almost like I've had this caricature of these based, leftists who are pro-hit learn whatever, and I did have a guy come into my latest Greenland article, this guy. First thing in his bio is Holocaust and joy. I'm like, that's great optics. Why are you posting this on Sub-Sec? The guy is proud not to use even a minute. Then he was whining about how Trump's actions on Greenland violate international law. It's like, I wonder what he was doing with his

treaties. Then, what do you think it's like, you know, Hitler did not respect your hero, did not respect the international laws at all. Then the guy would send crying over how Andrew Jackson mistreated the Indians and I was like, what? And manifest destiny. It's like these guys are just leftists. They're just leftists. I've been one of those people who I don't care. I think it's really stupid optics to go and obsess over the third Reich and stuff. Everyone's going to view, it's basically declaring you're a Satanist in the 1980s. It's just for shock value and you're immediately going to have people turn on you because of that. There's a lot of people with our views who still have strong taboos over where we're doing stuff, whether right or wrong, they do. And it's just, you know, it's not relevant to our time period and people will just get obsessed with it and they adopt all this stuff. And then, despite, you know, whatever swastikas or

whatever other nonsense they have, they then take their sighting with the lips and the left and then pretending that, you know, the third Reich would have never tolerated ICE, yeah. I'm sure of that. The S.A.S.S. Gestapo, Einsatzgruppen, Peru would have never done things like this. So, it's just like it's pure fantasy. It's like everyone just retreats to fantasy. They create a fantasy model and then they're unable to interact with reality. And then when they interact with their reality, it's remarkably the same as what you see and on with Democrats and liberals and then they suddenly decide that they're going to vote for liberals and Democrats for based reasons for accelerationism, but, you know, you're just in fact a liberal. So, that is my moment. If you're not siding with ICE, you're against mass deportations, you're against immigration restriction, you are against making America great again, you're against actual real legitimate things. You know, you can complain that you can say that they should be deporting more, but if in this instant,

you are taking siding with the left and saying this is wrong and crying over this and how could this happen? You actually don't support deportations. You don't support immigration restriction. It's like that Dave Smith thing that's like, I'm an immigration restrictionist, but I don't actually want these policies enforced. And so, you support in theory, but not in practice, and if you don't support in practice, your opinions in theory don't matter. They don't mean shit. And theory, you're based and practice your lib tart. And so, that's my view on that. And I think that, unfortunately, is covers a lot of people on our side. So, now on to, you know, effects on this on the public. I do think that, you know, I'll go to the left's reactions over how they're more organized, whether they're demoralized and stuff, but on the public reaction, I mean, the public isn't going to like this stuff. But I always have to say, when it comes to like economic issues, tariffs, anything that hits them on pocketbook, you should be more

cognizant of it. But with immigration, it's one thing you just have to say, public, we're understanding your concoctable, we have to do this because there's no comfortable way to do this. And that's something I have to say. It's like, there is no comfortable way to do this. A lot of people want to suggest the employer idea, which I perfectly fine with going after egregious offenders. But if you went after employers, what a lot of people would have, there'd even be a bigger public backlash because it would hurt our economy more because, really, if you started arresting doing mass arrests of these employers, you're going to shut down agriculture, you're going to shut down hospitality industry, you're going to shut down construction, you're going to shut down landscaping, like pretty much the entire food industry is going to be affected immediately. Now, when you are just going after legal immigrants and you're making it harder for them to work there, it's forcing the employers to adjust their business models gradually to accommodate the new arrangement of not having to be allowed on illegal immigrants,

that they're being weaned off their addiction gradually, and that they're finding ways through automation, through hiring American workers to offset the dirt of illegal immigrants that they were previously relying on. But if you go after employers immediately, it's going to have a bigger effect on the economy. So it's actually not, now, if that works, I'd be fine for it. But you're going to even create a bigger backlash because right now these moves are not hurting the economy. Yes, you have construction companies and agricultural lobbies and all these things saying like, it's harder to find people to mow lawns. Yeah, but it's not really having that massive effect. If you went after employers, it would be even a more noticeable effect and people would be pissed off they're not getting their houses cleaned in the lawns mode and no one's picking the fruits and stuff out. We could, I mean, the right would say fine with that, but I guarantee all these people complaining about like, oh, no, this is theatrics. If they went with, first off, they saw the lower deportation numbers. They would get pissed off about that. Second, if this hurt the economy, they would once again

find this is a reason to complain. I think what the moves are doing now are fine because it's terrifying people in the leaving. I don't know if going after employers would have the same effect. If they're still a lot of those illegal immigrants coming under Biden, we're just coming here for government benefits. They were not coming here for jobs and a lot of these little states and cities that are sanctuary cities and offer them these immigrants public benefits. If they're still shit about that and still getting the benefits are going to stay put and a lot of them would stay, I'd rather be unemployed in America than unemployed in my home country. You have to really terrify them into leaving and if all these immigrants think they're going to be picked up by you know, ice goons, squads and mass and Cynthia L. Salvador, they're going to leave on their own. And as we've seen in the numbers that, you know, 2.3 million immigrants have, you know, left the country, which is marks the first time that immigration has redropped in, you know, over 50 years, you know, that's something. And so I think that's the way it is.

So that's why we're still going to have to do these ice crates. I mean, for many apples and specific, it might be, they should absolutely not retreat because if they retreat, that is going to be huge, huge victory for the left and a demoralization for us. And it's also going to signal that the administration might not, might stop doing mass deportations as it, is that if they stop doing these ice rates, it's not because they're going to start, you know, doing some nicer way of mass deportations. It's a sign they're not going to do deportation rates at all. But with many apples, it seems that they have found a enough large supply of wannabe martyrs, who will die for illegal immigrants. You know, they got, well, well, stencils out there trying his hardest to get murdered. And there's a lot of people like him. I mean, that would be incredible content if Will Stancell is like, you know, falls and renegades, footsteps. I mean, I'm not encouraging that or anything, but that would be a very bizarre news event that it would happen. But I mean, you have a lot of people willing to do that. And

all these cases have been justified, but there is a way that they should keep the ice agents there and still doing the raids. But they probably need to work around to not confronting these guys. I mean, I mean, I believe that in a lot of ways that these leftists are bringing on, like Renee could block traffic, block the road, intentionally. And when other people are trying to be at work or at work, she's there and insulting the ice ulcers. And then she's like a terrible driver and drives in his direction. And he took action. Whether it was an intentional or not, she drove in his direction. I think it was more that she's just a terrible driver and panicked. And was like, Oh, shit. Oh, I'm moving into him. And then, when you drive into law enforcement, you're going to end up with not so good results as having with Renee Good. And I think it's a lot of these people just don't realize the consequences of this. It's one. Some of them are eager to be martyred. I feel like Stancell is that. And probably a few others that have a death wish. A lot of these guys are just messed up people. Stancell is just his own category. But a lot of these

guys are like drug addicts who, you know, nothing's going on in life. And they've been have a ton of clips of these leftists like shoot me in the face. You coward. Shoot me. And all these guys like shoot me. I'm like, man, that's a weird complaint. And it's like, it's like, you are coward. You won't shoot me. And it's like, why are you asking them to shoot you? You know, and but there's a lot of people are willing to take that bullet for their cause. So you know, I'm they can't I think if they have a third one this is it's it's the public because it's you have to accommodate for a little bit of public sweet missionist. They should still stay in Minneapolis. I just think that they're there's like a way to somehow avoid leftists for a little bit. Let things cool down. And then they can go back to their process because right now that they're all they've got like a whole, you know, the left's got a whole legion of martyrs there because they realize that this upsets public opinion. And if they get another few more, you know,

white liberals killed that they will turn the public against it. You can see this even with the right, you know, that they're, you know, super based and they're already siding with Renee good and ox pretty as martyrs for their own cause, which you know, I don't it all it does go to my point. It's like when I said like wignats a lot of wignats were initially profloid and pro writing people like that can be the case, but now that we've seen the reactions to Renee good and Alex pretty it's like, Oh, actually, this does make sense when that happened, but it's a they still have to maintain the course. That's the most important thing. There can maybe use different tactics or, you know, they have to maintain a presence of Minneapolis. Maybe they just do like for a few weeks or fewer raids. They probably just needs to let things cool down a little bit and then go back to it. They cannot, but it cannot be a noticeable pullback. It cannot be announcement like we're pushing agents out. I like the announcement from the

administration that we're sending more agents in because it shows resolve. It shows we're going to try to solve this situation and not back down to the left. It's but and so I think that's the right move, but there is they do have to avoid some of the the competition, which it's also, you know, mostly happened at Chicago LA Portland and and now Minneapolis, which some places is with, you know, immigrant gang bangers and other things, but that's it. So they're having this. So we'll go on to the left thing. I think that's the most important if people are going to continue. It's like, oh, it's Scott's advocate for a cheat. No, you can't retreat. I'm just advocating that for like a week or two. They just maybe do a few raids, but they still maintain that strong presence and then they go back to businesses normal after, you know, a week and they go with that. I just think it's like you the agents, and all both cases have been justified. They just do need to.

It probably seems to me emphasize that they in order to keep a public not glued to this. I do think that the snowstorm and the NFL playoffs did help to keep people distracted from on other things, you know, when the entire eastern seaboard, like really most of the country, like half the country is under like a unprecedented winter storm and they're focused on that. And, you know, NFL playoffs are on and Super Bowl is coming up. You know, they're not going to be that fully focused on it. And it's also really cold. Like people are not going to be protests. I mean, I think there's a couple reasons why they're not writing them in one reason. Their big reason is local blacks are not joining in. They don't give a shit about this. And it's all antifa types leftists with a few Somalis, but Somalis are only concerned with their own community. And Somalis are probably their leaders are smart enough to realize that they it's bad news if they write that that would be a gift to Trump. So it's really only white leftists trying to do it. And that's a problem. And second, it's really fucking cold. I mean, people do not want to

not, you know, when it's zero to, you know, with sub zero, I think it reached in Minneapolis and, you know, it's free and like ice on the ground, like people are not going to write it. You know, they're too cold to do that. They want to stay home. So only the real psychopaths are going to try to do that. But on the left, on the point of them being more organized and or if they're demoralized, the one thing is like, I don't get the point of demoralized. I understand why people are pointing this out. Like people are wanting to say, like, this is a huge loss for them and stuff. I wouldn't go that far as to as to say that they're like that they're that they're demoral or that they're losing this. You know, it's a PR battle. We shouldn't focus on whether it's a winner or loss. I'm just saying that the public gets upset up this stuff. And at the left and Democrats are going even more into abolish ice now. I mean,

they're all going to be running onto funding ice. The shooting did kill the funding bill in Congress. We're likely set up for a shutdown because Democrats know they cannot vote for funding for a THS and ice. So they're all going to run onto funding ice. So, you know, we're heading to a shutdown. It's a last shutdown. I mean, the shutdown did hurt Republicans, but you know, that was around election time. When it was going on, I don't think it's going to have that big of a political effect for us in the midterms. It really only had a big effect in Virginia where, you know, this is the area that's most affected by the shutdown. And they were already going to lose anyway, based on how bad they lost, but it did increase the vote total for Democrats. But in any case, I can add shutdown over this. Democrats are heading to all are pretty much on board with the funding ice. They're all going to be running on 2020 on abolish ice. I think that's going to be too far for the public, but they all think that this is a new direction. So,

and more of these shootings do, you know, make the public skittish, but you still need to maintain a course. I just think that, you know, I should be more careful about, um, about these cases. I don't want to say that they're good. Somebody was talking about good ice agent scarcity. That is such BS like these guys have all been involved in the shoes have years of experience. And then all these guys are like, why aren't they hiring like 130 IQ guys who look like awesome butler because there's a lot of these right wing women who are like, these guys are ugly, which are fat or they think that they're ugly, but they're masked up. And even people were saying that about the guy who was involved in the Renee good shooting. He's like, he's not a tractor. So a lot of women base their opinions over whether guy is attractive. I mean, you can see that with Luigi, Luigi. And even the, um, I guess that's even with the thing with the, uh, with the trolley Kirk shooters that they don't find them attractive. So they're less willing to. But it's like this

with ice agent. So they only need to attract like Hollywood actors who are really smart. And like this is not going to happen. These guys have years of training. And they made how to make a split second decision. You know, and even that guy showed off his years of training by how quickly, in the Renee good shooting about how quickly went to his gun at popped off shots. And he had just had this happen to him a few months before. So he didn't want to, you know, potentially die again from this. So I don't, um, the good ice agent scarcity is so dumb. The, they're getting, if you won mass deportations, you're going to have to hire a lot of people. They're also giving them sufficient training. The guys who have been involved in this are not incompetent. Like people with no, no training. These are people who years of training have been involved in these activities for a while. And they're probably some of the people who have the most experience with this. And they have to make split second decisions to save their lives of themselves and their, and their peers. And these are decisions. And I'm tired of this. It's like people always imagine

like super soldiers are the super confident are going to be there. And it reminds me like my family complaining about the stupid people who work. I don't, and I'm not comparing McDonald's workers to ice agents. But it reminds me of like people complaining about McDonald's workers like family. I don't always have this like, my dad is like, these people I can't understand them talk. We're like, well, who the hell do you think is going to be working in McDonald's? All right. You know, and then they're like, you're not going to get a rocket scientist working at the drive-through. Okay. They're going to be a rocket scientist. And so there's a limited pool of like once again, we think there's some secret reservoir of extremely smart athletic really knowledgeable about law enforcement who are just ready to sign up for ice and are going to get the full training and are never going to enter always going to make the exactly right decision according to internet commentators. That's not how life works. Okay. There's not. If you want mass deportations but are complaining about good ice agent scarcity, once again, you actually don't support mass deportations and you're

relying on fantasy standards. And you just think that all these people are going to come out of the woodwork to risk their lives, risk legal, legal problems and all these matters just because I don't the internet says they need to. And that's just not the case. It's like even separate case, it's like even with people complaining about like the DOJ, it's like, why don't they have like hyper competent lawyers who are ready to prosecute a Kim Jeffries? It's like, well, most of hyper competent lawyers don't want to do that. And they've also, you know, that's why like Trump's having a higher like elevate like former beauty models who are not the best lawyers to do these cases because they're the only ones willing to do it because most like really smart people with a lot of things going on aren't going to like risk the possibility of prison time or disbarment over this stuff. But that's another case. But I think that's like what the ice agents are getting the people that they need. And if you want more ice agents to do mass deportations, you're going to have to have realistic

standards. I don't, I think these guys are following pretty good standards. They have experience. This is just a stupid meme. And once again, if you're complaining about good ice agent scarcity, well, then I'm expecting us to deport 10 million people in a year. You actually don't support mass deportations. You don't actually support immigration restriction unless they meet your fantasy standards that aren't, aren't realistic. It's just as stupid as good men's scarcity where all these women who might be fat and on the wrong side of 35 are expecting that they're going to get Austin Butler, who's got a millionaire, all these great things about him. And they're going to somehow get on their knees and thank the Lord that they've brought this portly, bitter, unpersonable, unpleasant woman in their lives. But the fact that this isn't happened is like a government crisis and we need to do something about it. You know, it's very much in the same way, same league of complaints, good ice agent scarcity. But we'll talk more about

good ice agent scarcity more in the future. That's a great line. But on the left, on the being more organized are, well, there's two, are they demoralized or winning? I don't want to say this a winter loss, but it does help their side to make the public more squeamish against ice raids, encourages more support for defunding our abolishing ice, which we're seeing in polls, and makes it harder to create the groundswell of support for the ice raids. Now, we can still, we need to still carry it on. You just need to get them focused on other things like good economy, sports, sports, sports, sports, but it might be useful right now is that as long as they're focused on other things and this is not going to impact their votes, it doesn't matter. And I think for most people they care about the economy, if we have a good economy, they might get squeamish about this stuff, but they're not going to, it's not going to have that big of an impact. But it does, these things do help the last larger cause. So I don't think it's a loss now in demoralization. I don't see any demoralization. What demoralization? They're all hyped up. They're all like

getting even more aggressive and violent. They all want to be ox pretty now. And they've got, you know, this probably also sealed the deal for one battle after another, winning the Oscar. Once it wins the Oscar and they're going to have a whole spectacle about how this movie should inspire you to be like Renee good and ox pretty. I guarantee that they are going to make an Oscar speeches about ox good and Renee good because they're all, you know, the Golden Globes are all like all these actors are there honoring her and saying, this is why Trump is a tyrant. They're all going to do that at the Oscars. It's going to make a big spectacle. They're going to elevate this and they're going to encourage people that if you know, you want to be honored by Matt Damon on Leonardo DiCaprio and all these Hollywood greats, you need to go out and follow that example, you know, Oscar winner is wanting you to do this too. So I think it's encouraging them. I don't think it's demoralization at all. I don't see any degree of demoralization. I'm seeing more hysteric rhetoric. I'm seeing more, you know, calls for violence. I'm seeing even like, you know,

choppo to your people like saying we need a death penalty for ICE agents once we take power. And it's this type of, you know, couch potato authoritarianism is very common on our side and they're wanting to go along with it. So that's that. So I don't see any demoralization. I think that's just us trying to make a, I think that's just them trying to us trying to make our own point about it and make the best side of it. But no, they're not demoralized at all. Now that doesn't mean we should be demoralized. I had to tell somebody because somebody was like, I was pointing out the public how the public has it doesn't have the stomach with this and all the things. It's like, I'm seeing more demoralization on our side or just like, siding with the left and all the things. And I think you need to have realistic standards. Once you have realistic standards and you understand the fickle nature of the public and how they're not that based, but you can distract them so you can do based things, you know, bread and circuses are a good thing when they're focused on other things. If they've got

bread and circuses, they're not going to do BLM riots. One point I always re-emphasize is that 2020 was a result was caused in part by us not having sports and their lives being shut down. So they didn't have any distractions or entertainment. They're just cooped up at their house, nothing to do. And they were given an opportunity to, you know, lash out over this frustration and they were given that over George Floyd. So, you know, I think once you have bread and circuses, you can do based things. And once you have realistic expectations of what can be, can and can be done, I think you're, you can be white pilled. And I think the fact the administration is still caring and on. And I think as I need to emphasize, it's just to stay the course. Some people are wanting insurrection act now. You don't have the popular support for that. Then that would, that would, that would not be, that would not be, if you want Trump to be like removed from office, that might be a way that would probably, I feel like that would cause some issues. And there's

no real need to do that when you just need to send in more ICE agents and other things and calm down the situation, which is what they're doing. I don't think you have the pop, you can only do the insurrection act in like a, a real national crisis. I don't think this is yet rising to it. The more thing is to get, and it also creates more attention to the public. You need to get the public office. And I think flooding this out or calming down the riots, neutralizing them, you get some public focus on all the things. Insurrection act is just going to create more focus on it. So that's, that's one thing with it. But I think it's more of an opportunity for our side not to be more aligned. The left is really hyped up and agitated. And they're really returning to, you know, the early late 2010s mode of activism. They've got to stop Trump at all costs. And they think he's more of a fascist. I mean, he's doing a lot more things that was, than he was in the first term. And a lot of things I didn't even expect he was going to do in the second term, which is why I might appeal about the administration. But, you know, they're really worked up about this.

So I'm not surprised that this is a finally happening. But it's also the good thing we're having with the public is the public is focused on other things and is not as hyper politicized as it was in the late 2010s, 2020. So that has one good thing about it. So I don't think we need to worry about Democrats being to moralize. They're not to moralize. They're hyped up. But that's just a call for our side not to be to moralize and not to be retreat to fantasy and not to start signing with the left or making of nonsensical standards for these guys. You just have to stay with it. With a paper view had another question about the marvel effect that these guys don't expect anything. I do think that there's a, the left is just a lot of these guys are just stupid. They don't really expect this to go happen to them and they just can go along. But they does show a level of courage and commitment to their beliefs that it is. But it's also based around stupidity is that they don't think these things will happen to them. There's been a lot of videos of these people like, you know, doing aggressive actions and stopping ice officers and other things. And then

they get like slam to the ground and rest and like, you can't do this. It's going to happen to me. And yeah, that happens to them. But it goes to my point with the more organized that K-Max is asked about is like, whether more organized is they just have more people to call on. And the street organization absolutely dorsal right because the right has things to do. Right is also made up of mostly practical pragmatic people with things to lose. And our whole online right likes to imagine that everyone's like a married dad and stable family. I mean, most of our actual voters are like that. They are people with jobs. They're, they're not lump and proletariat, which all these euro nats and Pedro Gonzalez's dumbass think we are. It's not lump and proletariat. Lump and proletariat is mostly the left wing element that we see at a lot of this anti anti-pop protest. The fact that like, Alex pretty is the first non-lump and pro that they got like all the people that written house shot were loop and pros. They were all petty criminals like drug addicts with no real employment. It's generally refers to criminals,

underemployed, you know, people on the fringes of the working class like proletariat would people with like a solid working class shot. Lump and proletarians would be people who are not really setting employment, drug addicts, you know, hobos, criminals. That would be that element. And that's certainly not the element of of magaboo because we have something to lose and people are not going to go out on the streets and also they don't live there. They would have to travel into these cities to do stage protests and over what? Like first off, our side's not going to burn down their rural town or suburb over something because they actually care about their communities. They don't, they understand that they, oh, I like going shopping here. I like eating here. I'm not going to burn it down like they have that foresight. So they have stuff to lose and we're just don't have that element. And people are like, well, we have burnouts. Yeah, you know what our burnouts do? They just get on drugs and complain about Trump all day and pretty much side with the left. And they find out base reasons to support the left. Our burnouts are mostly useless,

I would say. They, and a lot of them are going to do anything. Some of them are just like shut ends where you're going to watch like anime all day. They're not connected to any group. They're not going to get like involved in writing. And you probably don't want these people to show because yeah, you know, if you had like some giant neckbeard with like an anime girl shirt on and these are like the guys that are like ready to write, you're probably like, you know, just go home. You don't want these optics or it's so and a lot of those guys are just like anti, you know, the rest of the right and would side with anti-fun anyway to own the right oits or whatever. So, you know, our burnouts aren't really very useful, unlike with the left. I mean, most of them just decide that they're not going to vote, not going to do any politics, but there's going to be a magical right wing revolution that's going to put these guys in anime girl t-shirts and complete control of the government. You know, I don't think that's going to happen, but, you know, maybe they'll think so. So, and that's not a criticism of we've got a lot of great

rear heads with anime girl obvious. We're not attacking those. We stand with the anime head rear heads, but I'm just saying that you probably don't want this element to be, you know, your anti-fun. And even like, I guess like, people are like, well, we got Patriot front. Well, what Patriot front going to do? And also, Patriot front ever did any half of these things with the anti-fun. They would get like full like, they'd be in jail for a very long time because there's not a lot of public support or institutional support for Nazis like there are, and I'm not saying that Patriot front are, but I'm just saying that they can shoot them as such in legal proceedings. This happened a lot with people in Charlottesville and elsewhere that they got screwed over in a way that maybe in other cases they would have definitely not been screwed over, but the fact that they were able to portray them as Nazis hurt them in their case. And so, that would probably happen with Patriot front. So, you don't want that like elements either. And there's not a lot of them either. There's only like a few hundred of them. So, and they're not going to support like Republican actions. Also, what do you expect them to do? Like, street organization is very

important. We don't need the street organization when we've got ICE. Like ICE can do all these things or we'd want like, you know, dispersing them, arresting Antifa, you know, deporting illegal immigrants. They can do all that legally. Why do we need, we don't need street organization. You know, it's rather, and in a lot of ways it hurts our cause. Like, the alt-right thought we needed street organization that led to Charlottesville destroyed the alt-right. And then, you know, we built up the street, a massive grassroots movement through the stop the steel, and then it, you know, nearly killed the mega movement through JSEX, even though I think was overstated. But in any case, it didn't really work out for us. So, we don't really need street organization. We need to control the institutions and law enforcement mechanisms that will then enact our policies, which is what ICE, border patrol, are doing, and the Trump administration is trying to do. So, it's not really much the weakness. But I always say like, people are like, why doesn't the right go out there? It's like, because our people, our most solid people have something to lose. They have a steady job. They

also have the foresight to realize they're going to have these causes that this could hurt their whole career, their livelihood. They're not going to have risk. They're busy out working and taking care of their kids. They're not going to go riot. Once again, it's a fantasy to think these like suburban dads are going to be like, hey, honey, I'm going to pick up the kid from softball, and then I'm going to go riot in the city. I'm also going to have to drive 45 minutes to do so. That's not going to happen. Also, the left is right there. We're not urban, we're not centralizing urban at locations, and people are not going to burn down their own communities. And so that's a that's a good thing in my opinion. So, you don't need to expect that. So, on conclusion with this, it's a long topic. I probably have an article about this tomorrow is, you know, and my own paraphrase of that thing where it's like, what do you, would you all think decolonization meant vibes, papers, essays? You know, this is the same thing. What did you all

think? Mass deportations meant. This is the result. And we have to say the course, we have to support this our own side. This is not the time to start complaining about. Like, we need to do deportations nicer or we need to back off. If I said maybe we need to hope the ICE agents not shooting more people, you know, that this is not the time to back off. This is the time to show support for our own side and to stay the course. And if you are failing this test, you are not right-winger, you don't support mass deportations, you don't support immigration restriction, you are in fact, only support these things in theory. But when they actually have the chance of happening in practice, you then side with the left and you are frankly no different from a liberal. And that is my opinion of that. And that is why I stand with ICE and port of control in these cases. So that was

a long discussion on the siege of Minneapolis. So it is interesting what's going to happen. I mean, it is kind of moving us in a more, it is a type of, I don't want to say this like a complete vibe shift that it's like over for Republicans or over for Trump. But I do, it is a vibe shift from what it was like at the, when he came into office, but that vibe was never going to last for all. As if Trump was serious about doing these things, it was going to energize opposition. And if you want to save your country, if you want to do anything great, if you want to make our country great again, you have to expect a fight, you have to expect resistance, you have to expect discomfort from the public, but you just have to maintain the course. It's your job not to be demoralized. It's your job. It's imperative for us to stay the course back sensible, reasonable policies, which they are implementing and understand with this is all for greater good. And to understand

that this was always bound to happen. We were always supposed to have this opposition. We're always supposed to create public squeamishness that there's no way to make America great again without that. And so that is my opinion on that. And now we're going to go for, if there was some specific angle that maybe you think I didn't get to, let me know. I actually, for a one little thing, James asks is like, do you think the ice protests are working? A little, they are in public opinion, but I think it's not working on Trump administration is that it's imperative for them to keep to maintain the task. As soon as they try to make a change, something the entire 401k population will be against some degree. In part, yeah, I think that if the radical economic changes that a Bernie Sanders or AOC would want would create a huge groundswell of opposition. And I think the fact that the left is going to adopt a lot of economic populism for 2028. And they think that a lot of these wealthy people are going to think that the, that they're going to be more serious about this than Trump, because Trump just throws out ideas. And, you know, he can, in like some businessmen comes in to them and it's like, this is stupid. He'll be like, oh, okay. And then it's not even like, oh, okay, we're going to go with that. And I think that they're going to be, we're going to see a lot of wealthy people backing Republicans. I think Republic, one positive thing for 2028 is I think that fundraising for Republicans isn't going to be tough. Democrats are actually really strongly on fundraising. And I think Republicans are actually going to have advantage are going to

actually, because for many years, Republicans have had a huge problem with fundraising. I think in 2028, we're not going to have that problem because the left is going to go full and say they're going to be wanting to abolish ice. They're going to be wanting to abolish AI. They're going to be wanting to have massive tax like the wealth tax that do some is having in California. They're going to want to do that nationwide. This might be popular stuff with the people, but it's going to be very unpopular with the wealthy and they're going to all, if they're serious. And if they're, you know, lose some of the risk of version and then trying to hedge the bets, because that's what a lot of rich people doing with politics, they're going to back the Republican. So I think the left might be, I think, well, AOC is actually not as courageous of a politician as she is. She's much more practical and risk averse than you think. I think she might not have been run for president because of a risk aversion, but you need like a ballsier Democrat to do this. I think a lot of

Democrats would, you know, they'll propose, like if Newsom was in office, he'd propose all this economic, popular stuff and like bringing the wealth task nationwide and stuff, but in office, he would not do that because he knows they would hurt him and it would hurt the economy and he wouldn't do that. I think Bernie Sanders would do that. I think if Zoran can't run for office thankfully, but if Zoran could ever somehow become president, he would try to implement that. AOC, I think, would also get cold feet because he's much more risk averse than her image makes her out to be, but I do think there's a point. I think if you did get a committed far leftist, they'd be, they would actually go through it. They'd say, fuck it. I'm going to do it. And we'd see the results afterwards. I think he got, he had another question. Potentially. No, he didn't, but Mark had two questions, he said, between Trudeau and Merkel,

who caused more damage to their country? I wouldn't have to look more into Trudeau, but I think Merkel made more damage to her country with a specific action of letting in those million migrants in 2015 and she, you know, she didn't have to do that. She said, if you're a shop in DOS, you know, we'll make it work, which is if some people translate, we can do it, but it's like much, it's like much more tutonic. It's like much less assertive. It's like, we'll make this work. And so that's like, if you're a shop in DOS, and she's like that, and it clearly didn't work and it has completely transformed Germany. I don't know what Trudeau did, it was completely different from what it was previously, but Merkel's policy of letting those migrants was a complete one from Germany, because Germany still had pretty restrictive immigration policies compared to a lot of Europe. You know, they did change the laws and like 2000 citizenship law made it a little bit easier. It's still much harder to get citizenship in Germany

than it is in America and it's of other places. And they were shaking migrants and they weren't getting the worst like France and Britain were, but 2015 changed that. So I would just say Merkel, but I, if I read more about Trudeau and there were specific policies he did to make them like an economic basket case and other things, I could say I could be open to Trudeau, but I think with Merkel made a singular action that was backed by the rest of the establishment. It wasn't her alone, but she was a leader and she declared your shop in DOS and there's that. So there's that point. So I would say Merkel thoughts on John Thune, his job as Senate Majority Leader compared to McConnell, he seems very anonymous and it visibles this because people are less interested in Politico, Capitol Hill, tear gossip than Dury say Obama years or something else. So it's a mix. It's definitely that people are less interested in Capitol Hill news, because there's just so much going on with the executive branch and forum policy and that people are just focused elsewhere.

But he's not a strong leader as McConnell. He's also more accommodating towards Trump. I think, you know, for what we would have had, I think he's fine. I mean, it was only really him and Cornyn and I trust him more than Cornyn, Barossa might have been better, but I don't know if Barossa's older, maybe less active, and I think Thune is better than McConnell. It's about as good as we can expect for the Senate to be honest. We would like someone better, but you're not going to get a right wing fanatica in the Senate. And also there's not many right wing fanatics in the Senate in the first place. So, you know, it's not, it wasn't that very realistic. So I think he's fine. You know, my Johnson's kind of surprised me with his job. He has pretty loyal to Trump, but like everyone hates him, but that's just the nature of being like house speaker for Republicans. Everyone's going to hate you. Everyone hated Bainer. Everyone hated McCarthy. Everyone hated it.

Well, they liked Paul Ryan at first, but then eventually everyone hated Paul Ryan. So that's just the nature of being house speaker in the modern Republican party. So I think he's better than McConnell. So that's about all we can expect, but he needs more in the background. He doesn't have as much of a power base as McConnell did, which probably better for Trump. Because McConnell was one of the worst aspects of Trump's first term. A lot of people blamed Jared Kushner, which I'm not saying he was great on the first term, but it was more McConnell who was suggesting all these terrible ideas and pushing against Trump's good ideas in the first term. But now McConnell's gone. So you don't really, Thune isn't as influential as McConnell was. Now we've got questions from Dollar Bill. He's got two. How different would American liberalism have been if Thomas Jefferson had used a slightly different word of the Declaration of Independence? Most famous phrase, all English men are created equal. I don't think he would have done all English men. It was the Virginia Declaration of Independence had worded a little bit different that would have been

better. I need to look it up. The Virginia Declaration rights, which had similar language, I think if they'd used this language, and I believe it was written by George Mason, and this is what would have been a lot better. I think this would have been clearer. It's like that all men are matched by nature equally free and independent enough certain inherent rights of which, wherein they enter into a state of society, they cannot buy any compact, private or divest their posterity, namely the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety. Now that's more of not as well written and not as colorful, which obviously the the preamble of the Declaration of Independence is much better written, but I think this is clear and more just like asserting a natural law of view, all these things I wanted to defend property rights, and much more Anadine, and I think it would have been better. It would have not been as it would have not been as easily construed as an radical egalitarian message. All men are by nature equally free and independent

and have certain inherent rights. I don't think we would have had much problems with, and we have been probably a better country, but it's like horrible writing, and I don't think people would be that like could somebody have edited this, you know, this is not good writing. So I think that's the thing with the Thomas Jefferson, they made it much more powerful, but unfortunately we deal with the consequences of that. So I think that's what have been the alternative, and things would be a lot better. We're going to create a lot less support for left-wing egalitarianism in our country, too. Could Virginia become a red state again at the district of Columbia expanded to include the areas north of Fredericksburg and east of west and Chester? Probably. Yeah, no, I think it would be red again. If they took out north of Virginia, it would be red again. It would be, you know, a more contested state than like Tennessee, but at least beyond the level of North Carolina as I've mostly read. There's a chance that like they'd vote for Democratic governor ever now and then, but it would be a more competitive state.

The problem is that a district of Columbia would be, have a huge population, be insanely, insanely democratic, and you know, if we ever want to take federal power, we have to rely on people who work and live and work in DC, and if it became the, it would be the most, it would be the bluest state in the country with that. And I think we'd have a lot of problems with it. We'd have insane congress people. It'd also give a power base for really insane senators. Now, I always say that north of Virginians and people who are in the suburbs are more, you know, maybe more moderate than some people in, I guess in maybe California, New York City, but they'd still be blue and DC would have a huge influence on that. And those people would be more on. So that would be, that would be way too blue of a state. So I think gaining Virginia as

a red state would not be worth creating a mega DC blue state. I think that'd be a lot worse than that. So I think for our country, that'd be worse. So I think it's not worth giving Virginia. Also, we don't want District Columbia to become a state. So that alone is a reason to keep the north of Virginia area within Virginia, even though it's going to make it more blue. You still have those elements within the rest of Virginia that can hold back. And I think that Spamberg going too far to the left. I was saying this like last week, you know, like I think it's going to be blue state. I do think that that's going to have a pushback, especially they try to do those taxes. If they try the highest state income tax, it's like, what are they doing? Like that's going to, that's going to piss off everybody. And to pay for what? I think that hopefully is not passed, but yeah, I think it's, yes, it would become a red state again, but the cost or country would not be

worth it. We do not want a District Columbia state. And they would never agree to that measure either, to give over north of Virginia. I think it would be even bad long term for Republicans because like, no, like we could never recruit people to work for like governments because they're like I'm not getting my entire income taxed, you know, and other things are live in an area where there's no police and stuff like that. So going along with some of these things, some of these questions, one quick thing is Gillis and George specifically asked you think the admin will hold the line on the ice rates. I think they will. Trump doesn't want to back down or capitulate on anything. And as long as it's not affecting the stock market, I don't think he's going to do so. And it's not. And they realize the optics of it. And he doesn't seem to be turning on Miller that much. He seems most of his iris directed towards like Bondy and other people aren't arresting his personal enemies. So

I think they're going to hold the line. That's my opinion. I just want to emphasize that point from the first discussion. Nitro's second question that didn't have to do with ice. He's like wondering about your thoughts on the hot topic of the air race. We obviously want America to out compete China and AI, but should we be rooting for Elon and Grok to take the lead to avoid a Google dominated AI future? We should just want people to write wings to do it. But a lot of these guys are like Sam Altman is trying to make overtures to the Trump administration. I'm not the biggest fantasy element. But in terms like AI, you need to encourage it. Because if we lose out, we're going to have China. And that's almost my opinion about these state restrictions. People are like, we need to state restrictions. If we have the state restrictions, you're going to have 50 different laws governing something that's not state-based. This isn't like parking fees or you know, property regulations. This is something that transcends the states. This is something along the lines of trade and immigration that has to be directed by national policy. And if we have

50 different laws covering AI, we are going to cripple our own AI industry and allow China to dictate. And they're going to do a lot of insane things that we're not going to be a fan of. So it's better to allow this to have and leave it with the nation, allow them to regulate it along ways that are in interest. And if we're also allowing 50 different states, that's going to allow all these blue states to pass all these mandatory wokeness AI initiatives. So I'm not for it. I generally think we AI is here. We're going to have to deal with it. It might be a little overstated. The effects of it. I do think that like Elon Musk and others like we're not going to be working. I think that's overstated. But it's going to be a new technology that's going to have a dramatic effect on our society and our economy. And we just have to accept that. And we can regulate it and cripple it all we want. But that's not going to stop China from pursuing it. And then using their advantage over AI to become the global hedge model. And so

we might temporarily halt AI for a little bit within our own country. But then China is going to surge ahead. And we're not going to be able to keep it out. You know, the AI regulations of Vermont are not going to stop AI innovation throughout the world. So that is my views on that. Costco Frank had a question about the Penguin video. He said, what it is about the awful Penguin video that divides the online right and the online left. I don't know if it did it. By the online right and online left. It's impossible to imagine even an online liberal like knew some reposing it. But the DHS did. I think there's something deeper going on beyond the fact that the left can't meet. I didn't notice. I think it's kind of a universal meme. I don't really get it or I actually don't want to say I didn't really get it. I do get it. But I didn't get how it just suddenly became a thing because it's like I think it's a Werner Herzog nature documentary that it just came from. It's been around for a while but everyone's like into it. And I guess

the administration adopted it because it relates to Greenland. No, penguins aren't in Greenland. But you know, it's still a funny thing. I didn't. It's fine. It's whatever. I'm not going to say it's cringe. But sometimes memes get abused and utilized. I don't think there's much much to read into it rather than like everything the administration does. They like to be extremely online. I could see new some appropriating the penguin. But I think the right got to it quicker. So they're going to allow the right to it. And the left is now I'm just going to declare a cringe. So I don't think there's much deeper to it than that. I mean, it is like the heroic wonder going. It's the pack to just do something, you know, quixotic. It's not going to be that the left maybe are as more appealing to the online right than the online left. But everyone likes nature videos and like some animal doing something goofy. So I don't think it's that. I don't view as much more in depth than that. Dude, a normative asked, do you think Eric Kaufland's polling on

right wing podcast audiences is accurate, particularly the data showing minimal support for zero immigration seems unlikely considering the similar poll at Ampest. Well, I'd have to see the demographics, but I think it's on to something. I don't know if it's a hundreds in accurate, but I think the the thing that these audiences, they're not as fully ideologically aligned as you think. And especially if they're asked direct questions about this, I think this is the case with the online right. The fact that there's so much of the online right that's upset about Renee good and Alex pretty and is like, oh, can we do humane ice deportations and stuff and the things that really animate them are like the conspiracy theories like Epstein or Charlie Kirk or even something like, you know, USS Liberty is something that they really gravitate around. I think it's I think Kaufland's poll was trying to show that these people are more motivated by conspiratorial populism, which is much more amorphous and their views can shift all over the place and sometimes they can be pro-Trump, sometimes they can be pro-Zoran. I think that and you're seeing

that among the broadcasters and I think that they're not as ideologically based as we might think. You know, and I saw this from I think they're most devoted audiences, particularly for certain influencers, like Fuentes, like his hardcore followers, would definitely support zero immigration, but a lot of his casual fans don't. I mean, if, you know, Shane Gillis and Joe Rogan are casual fans and they don't support this stuff, and neither is Theo Vaughn. And so in your starting to notice that about a lot of casual fans that they're not as right wing as they imagine, and you can even see that with the online right. Is that a lot of these guys, you know, they say they like won't deportations, they want authoritarian government, then when it comes they all cry inside with the left. And I think that the eagerness to support Democrats in the past, it was just pure contrarianism and they try to justify it with accelerationism, but I think with a lot of

these guys, they do generally find it more appealing because they're like this is anti-establishment, and it's more along our lines of conspiratorial populism. And I'm also in set, I'm not saying this for every influencer, but I do think it's piratory of populism is the main motivating factor or main underlying ideology of a lot of these podcast audiences. And that's not the strongest groundwork for fully committed and right wing views is that it can go all the place. It's generally just anti-establishment and you know, things that some nefarious force is doing evil. And even if there are like four collectivism and stuff, they generally come down for strong individual rights. It's why they get upset about like any infringement on gun rights and all the things and free speech, but and so in theory, they might be extremely based right wingers, but in practice, they're they're not so much. They're very similar to the old libertarians that

the apparently in theory are opposed to. So I think that is true. I don't know if that's true of all podcast audiences, but I think it is accurate. And I think it's a lot of these people, they adopt memes and they utilize these memes. And then when faced with direct issues, they, their politics are a lot more moderate or a lot different than what they say they are in theory. So I think there is something to it. Whether it's a hundred percent accurate and whether it's accurate or the influences, I wouldn't fully say that, but I think it's getting at something. And our dancewear had an interesting, it's like it's a it's a it's a it's a it's a sequel question to a male back question from last week, because he was really concerned. He found that he found a sorority girl Instagram pictures with which I wanted context. I was like early black women or black men and they were a black man and he wanted some more. He's very concerned about this story and wanting my take about it. So he asked successor questions on

whether this indicates a change within Southern Creek life that, you know, a woman would a sorority girl because of my time that would have definitely been strongly frowned upon and sent that girl to standards, but she's in a picture with a bunch of black guys. So is this still a lot? I was curious how Creek life maintains these social standards. So you guys just not, I like the members who don't perform more. Well, I mean, it's just frowned out. You're going to face like, you know, ostracism for the stuff, but I don't know. I don't, once again, there's a lot of context. I arm day, joy, I if you're going to provide more context, I appreciate but I think we might need to move onto another topic, especially for regular podcasts. But if you have, maybe if there's like, you're really committed to this for the mailbag, maybe you could send more context, but I'd have to know like if it's at a like the tier of the sorority, whether it's at like the flagship state university, whether it's at a down market state university, there's like

a lot of different things. But I would say it's still, you know, people in that maloo, the Southern middle class still frowns upon that type of activity, especially within their self. It's there's as you can see with some of these like very talented black football players and the NFL, with their new like girlfriends and fiancees and wives they have, which is like a higher quality than they would have had 20 years ago. It does indicate there is social taboos changing. It's not just within the South, it's within the entire country, but I do think that the Southern, the Southern Gentry, the upper middle class that has increased life, particularly at flagship state universities, still frowns upon it. Now at the more down market state schools where it's more of a lower middle class element, which I know arm day and joy was arguing about it. It's more just a wealth and established background like if you're coming from old money and your whole family has generations of people going Alabama or old mess or something, this is going to be a major problem.

You're basically a rebel of family, a black sheep to do this stuff. But that's the exception, that's not the rule. With the less prestigious, I mean all state schools are prestigious, but more of the down market, like a UAB, UTC, a Georgia Southern schools like this, I think it's less frowned upon. At the lower level, it's particularly with the Southern working class and maybe a little bit with the lower middle class, even though as I said, the distinction between lower middle class and upper middle class is harder to make. It's mainly just income. I think that they are more social, there's more social mixing among the races and groups than there was 30 years ago. But I think for the upper middle class, the Gentry, there's still, they maintain the old

standards a lot more. So that would be my answer to that. So we'll see if there's a follow-up for the mailbag, but I do like that the fact that the, you know, for the regular sense, I do like these, I think this, that's kind of more of a mailbag question, like for this end up stuff, but I do, I do admire the commitment to finding a full answer on this question.
